Does anyone know the damage formula for monster skills? I can't find it in the wiki. I assume it's some product using the skill power and base physical/magical dmg, it just confuses me that the wiki explicitly says physical type skills are boosted by DEX and magical type skills by INT, which would mean STR and WIS are irrelevant when it comes to skill dmg??? But INT and WIS increases magical base dmg; a stat that wouldn't be used anywhere since all normal attacks are physical, so that can't be it.

How to predict the boss's spirit attack? As a new beginner trying to clear the latest RB, I often find myself scared when the boss's spirit was charged into full but the boss didn't use spirit attack during several turns.

Pretty sure it's random. But there's a bigger chance at higher difficulties. You really should be using Silence to prevent them from using special attacks and Weaken to reduce their damage output (it also works on special attacks, not just physical ones).

Does anyone know if the equipment upgrade/revamp changes are still planned for sometime in the future? I'd prefer not to upgrade my equipment until after the switchover.
I don't expect any firm timelines or anything, any info would be helpful!

Yes, but don't expect it any time soon. You should probably upgrade your equips if it makes sense to.

Can someone tell me why Spellweaver on staffs is more popular than Archmage even though Radiant gear is more popular/expensive than Charged gear? Also how inferior to Archmage is Annihilator in terms of damage? Like if Penetrator is 100%, then what are Archmage and Annihilator?

usually Radiant gear is more popular/expensive than Charged gear only on holy mage, and the only match holy staff is oak which have low basic mdb, so the mdb boost from archmage is also low, and if you play the other mage, then usually ppl prefer charged and spellweaver

This gets a bit complicated, because what is best depends on what you're playing (arenas, and which arenas, versus grindfest or IW) and your equipment/level/perks/etc. I can't comment on isekai because I never play isekai. Radiant vs charged is a tradeoff between raw damage and survivability. I think you can generally clear PFUDOR GF or IW faster with a charged set than with a radiant set. This is because avoiding turns spent healing is much more important than doing damage since you probably already do enough damage to one-shot most mobs. Arena is very different because schoolgirls are such tanks that doing more damage still helps and usually survival isn't a problem in arenas. It might actually be that charged is a bit undervalued by the community. Spellweaver vs archmage is the same tradeoff, but the casting speed bonus from spellweaver is larger than what you get from charged on any armor, so it can be worth it in more situations. (Peerless Charged Phase Robe: casting speed +4.06%; Peerless Willow Staff with spellweaver 4: casting speed +5.87%) Spellweaver also helps survival when casting anything, not just offensive spells (so imperil and cure). This is also why penetrator is so good, it helps land imperil more reliably and avoid resists on attacks. I would generally just avoid annihilator; unlike a mystic armor prefix, you can just redo your IW. I'm not sure quantitatively how worse it is, but you never need to use it. (Whereas mystic is strictly better than no-prefix, and if you don't care about survival, can be better than charged.)

I'm a little confused by the shrine and hoping someone can help. I've read the wiki but I'm dense and still don't get some things (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) . What does the total credits worth of trophies I've handed in do? I get that I can modify settings to hand in more at once to upgrade the tier, and certain trophies are at a specific tier. I guess I just don't get the default setting. Also, is there a way I can view my current total EXP multiplier?

The total credits are used for the Follower of Snowflake perk. In persistent, you have to purchase this hath perk; everyone has it in isekai. Every 10m credits worth of trophies handed in gets you a Peerless Voucher, which is a trophy that guarantees a peerless equip when you shrine it. Sadly no, but you could calculate it by hand if you wanted to.

Finally in the 3xx club (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) [ cdn.discordapp.com] Got my first DWD down and damn that took a bit . I've gotten a lot faster lately on the earlier arenas thanks to minnazzo's and ikki.'s help and I can't wait to hit 310 soon for the 3 target Imperil . I luckily won 2000 hath from Agoraphobia's recent cleanup contest and was thinking what the best use would be . Exchange for credits and use for more training/gear or spend on hath perks ? I was thinking that maybe training adept learner and getting exp hath perks might be too much since those are useless after u hit 500 but then I took a look at the Level Table and damn, hitting 500 without exp boosts seems crazy . I'd like to hear people's opinions on what they think is the best hath perk investments for progression and making credits, like if there's hath perks that can make me a lot of credits back so I can then get more training/hath perks/gear . Also recently the riddlemaster curse has finally been lifted from my account, and now I'm noticing that spending stamina is kinda hard . I'm not sure on what is best to use stamina on after doing the Lv.200-300 arenas . I've been doing more of the lower arenas since I'm almost constantly at 99 stamina but idk if those are worth it besides the exp multiplier and arena completion reward. Idk how I feel about grindfest . It feels quite tedious, at PFUDOR, at my current level since I'll need to pay attention to survive . I was thinking of maybe running a slow IW service for some credits and would appreciate all advice on how to do that successfully . Thanks for your time and all help future and so far (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by fsdfgiosdgio: Jul 2 2024, 15:19

To fsdfgiosdgio: If you not yet have the ability point training done(you need ~130 points for elemental mage), then I don't recommend you to activate any hv related hath perk since you'll probably spend a few million credits on the training to get some basic done. 2k hath is ~5.5M right now, it's not really a lot. And DD1's priority isn't the highest imho.

I've been wondering, is it actually worth using power armor in Isekai? Granted, I don't have an complete set, but I wound up taking an massive hit with my survivability after switching from heavy armor

I'm using it at the moment, floor 61. Works fine. I think it'll bring you to floor 100 a bit quicker than shielding plates

I am using 1h power in isekai - though my aim isnt much higher than level 50-60 for isekai, lack of time for serious commitment. If you go with 1h, consider investing in block on shield and parry on your weapon as first priority. For me, axe of slaughter worked fine on lower levels and with plate equip, but when climbing higher and shifting to power armor, changing from axe to rapier of nimble worked wonders. While damage on weapon was like 2 times lower, actual damage didn't fall that much, but total parry got more than x2 improvement. That significantly increased survivability.

Well, I've more or less made the same choices in terms of my weapons. Tried out dual wielding with light and heavy armor, but that was incredibly bad idea. But my current problem is that my set of power armor is kind of fragile at higher difficulties and I'm on the fence between going full light armor or back to heavy armor at lv 264

Oh yeah, I know the feeling. I was doing plate from the start, with slowly switching to power whenever I got a usable piece. It was quite fragile for last difficulty for a while. But I guess things do add up - abilities, stats, equipment quality, investment in parry and block. Closer to 300 PF is doable, and after 300 arenas get quite safe and easy. Tower is whole different can of worms of course, it requires attention, but its still safe enough (at least for my floor aims).
