Yes, for staff proficiency grinding it was very useful in past version of HV. To make it: equip only 1 item, and get killed a couple of times.

Is there any indication of the EXP bonus from posting once a month in-game? I can't see anything not only in-game, but neither my forum profile is useful in determining when have I posted last time (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Also this post counts, right? ^^

No, this post is answered by a forum mod, then it doesn't count anymore.

Hooooooooy everyone, I come with a lot of questions.

First, how do you play as mage ? I don't really get it. I'm playing elemental mage (ice if that matters) and i'm basically doing only imperil then fimbulevtr then blizzard then the least powerful spell (freezing I think ? )when I can't either of these 2.
Not using infusion during fights for the moment ( trying to figure out the gameplay ) & no enchant.
But I'm getting down in life fast in NORMAL with ~36% evade & ~42% resist. Well I'm used to 1H, true ^^

Secondly, what's up ? =) there is no second (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Thirdly, it's a question of choice between staff of destruction or nilfheim ( in general EDB vs MDB if it's called like this ? =) )

Fourthly, how important is the weapon attack in the calculation of your total attack ? Is it like in classic MMO's, really important because it is the base value then scaling with each other item, or is it just additive ? ( sorry about that if it's written in the wiki, I've read a lot in it and can't remember seeing that )

Lastly, what tips would you give to players being almost full leg as 1H to improve their overall fight powa ? What would be the most useful thing to do.

that's how it works, yes. Cure a lot. Not on Normal, though, but on higher difficulty. And use Monsterbation script, don't do this by hand.

Destruction is slightly better. More damage. Thus more speed.

Weapon attack is your main attack. Actual damage is a complex formula, which you can read about in the wiki

Slaughter gear. Or go mage.

instructions on the pinned thread. and yep, should be 7x T7 triophies and 1x T8 trophy but take this with a grain of salt

How important is Accuracy at level 300? Do I want to prioritize it as another major ability (I'm using 1H rapier, but my 2H is at 250) if my current % hit chance is 150, and I'm doing PFUDOR?

I hear 200% Accuracy being mentioned, but not sure how important it is at my level.


Also, if I'm using heavy armor, and my Burden is around 70, will Haste be kinda useless for me? It says increase action speed by 50%, but I'm not sure if that's affected by Burden.

200% is a safe zone so you don't miss, it should be pretty easy to get as Dex is very good stat for both 1H and 2H.

Haste is not really preferred by high-end 1H user since it actually slows the DPS, you want to get hit more so you can counter parry more. But if you're still low level, Haste is pretty good as it gives you more survivability mmm...

word is that they should also have a slightly higher chance to award you PABs, but since the formula has discovered only recently take this only as a rumor.
