What's your elemental proficiency? You need a base elemental proficiency of at least 50 to use blizzard.

is there a way to choose multiple equips at once then salvage them?

can you increase the level of an equip once you wear it? I got a Exquisite equip that I already wore at a lower level and I don't want to salvage a rare equip.

Also is the wiki wrong?

It says here that wakizashi has higher burden and interference than shortsword.
I've compared them with the same average prefix and the shortsword always seem to be higher.

Next is the burden and interference of light and heavy armor, they seem to be reversed.
Light is high and heavy is low which is the opposite of how they're in-game.

When it comes to weapons for dual wielding, is there a generally accepted "best" combo?

To what extent is it dependent on game mode? (I'm mostly just interested in arenas)

And to what extent would you choose to use lower-tier equipment of the "right" type over something that's higher tiered but not the best type (e.g. magnificent rapier vs legendary short sword) or that has inferior affixes (e.g. ethereal X of balance vs fiery X of the vampire?)

Or is that last question too situational and impossible to answer without considering specific item links?

in my personal view, Club of Slaughter + Rapier of Balance is the only and best for your level, prefix is not matter in arena. the other combo are also playable but may not that comfortable, cause the high level monsters start to parry a lot in this level. (I use short sword + rapier in your level BTW, they're not regular combo but still OK to play)
try learn good use of the Frenzied Blows, it helps a lot in battle. use some Weaken if you feel a bit hard, that should be enough for survive

Thank you. I had seen the wiki, but was curious to know more from people's personal experiences. I've been using a wakizashi of the nimble in the offhand and was considering switching to rapier, but wasn't sure if I'd miss the extra parry.

When people say they clear all their arenas in an hour, are they referring to just schoolgirl/relevant ones, or is it literal?

My current cold mage setup takes ~40 minutes for me to get through all 4 of the schoolgirl ones, so I'm wondering if I'm missing something.

yeah 40 minutes for the SG, that would leave you 20 minutes for the easy ones - sounds about right doesn't it? I bet you are not far away from 1 hour in total, maybe 10-20 minutes more? I think it should be possible to do the SG a bit faster if you're super strong, just keep improving your set. Also, internet connection speed makes a huge difference.

I like to gum and vase the schoolgirls as holy and dark. With gum and vase I can clear SPL in 7 min with about 540 turns while grinding for elemental, forbidden and divine proficiency. The rest of the arenas take even less time and turns. The real problem is that you get used to this speed. Its like driving a Shelby for persistent and then switching to a Prius for Isekai.

I guess with my average times it would take somewhere around ~68 minutes give or take, so maybe it is about right.

Yes that's literally. But don't forget that people who clear within 1 hour are much, much better geared than you.
A beginner mage will obviously not be as fast.

I'd say that it's rather around 30 mins for the schoolgirl arens, 30 minutes for the rest for me. And I am one of the strongest dark mages, even though I still could do a lit a bit faster than that.

These include days in which I tried to be fast with infusions and other days where I couldn't be bothered to use a feather. The average is skewed up by doing other stuff while playing HV and whatnot, my times are significantly lower when I'm actually paying attention to the game.

Consider also that Abby plays Pony level (I guess), which I can't, so the difference is relatively big between both clear times.

Thanks for the data, those times look fairly similar to my own. My DWD and PGC times are roughly 13 and 15 minutes respectively, so I'm probably on the right track. I've DD1 and a set of radiants so it'll take a bit to upgrade, but this looks promising.
