So I decided to look around shrines and trophies after getting something weird shows up in my inventory.

1. If I understand this correctly:

I can only have hoverplay active permanently from beginning unless I go to critical health, or not at all.

7. And for item worlds, can anyone share how many times they are required to IW10 an exquisite weapon? They have a lot of rounds so if it took hundreds of runs then that is certainly demotivating.

I have found that not only was my weapon of poor quality, but it also didn't match my level.
I have seen some shops in WTS these days, but they always sell equips at high levels.

How can I do to get off the hook? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

When I unlock the Orbital Friendship Cannon skill, where will it show up? I heard that it can take around 24hrs for it to show.

Do with Superior and Exquisite equipment. You can't possibly get higher tiers of equipment unless insane luck. And even then, higher tiers of equipment at your level, if they even exist, will most likely be beyond your budget.

Shrine value is for the Follower of Snowflake perk.

Or save them for bragging rights. They come from special events like Christmas.

Player-run events (like the Sinerklaas one Noni runs) never award trophies like that. That is from the usual EH Christmas event where everyone who meets certain requirements gets the trophies.

It depends on if you want a specific set of potencies or not (as well as on the specific item, the difficulty, and whether it's soulfused). See the wiki for exact formulas. If you do want specific potencies, because it's random, yes, it can take hundreds of runs. If you just want to get to any 10, it's much faster.

Monsterbation has a very neat mobile function. It creates buttons next to the monsters that you can tap to start hover - attack of spell rotation. As well as a button for imperil and weaken, that's what I recommend. More than 3 buttons doesn't fit well for me, but if it works on your device you can add whatever you like.

at your level, anything works except mage. However that will change soon. Dual Wield is a strong style, quite fun to play. but as usual, 1h heavy is easier. DW requires some timing, skill and attention. But why play if not for fun?

I have made some calculation recently. I remember the conclusion is that you actually get 62.7% damange mitigation from the counter-attack and the following stunning with 50% parry and block rate.

So yes, 1H is a quite strong style, especially when at the beginning you will have issues on survival, but not DPS. Even for DPS, you can use OFC and the "vital strike" skill to deal with huge amount of AOE and single-target damage.

With 1H and shield, the preferred armour is Metal (power). For DW instead, it's leather (shade).

Since so many abilities are different, I would choose "Create Blank" instead of cloning. The time saved with cloning would be very little, and the risk of forgetting to fix some ability higher. Starting from blank is easier and surer for me.

Others may prefer cloning tho' It doesn't make any difference in the end. You just have to be sure and doublecheck that you ha e made all necessary changes.

You can use different equipment sets or personas to solve the problem. Given that melee styles usually cost fewer ability points, and people tend to start playing mage after Lv 310, you can for sure use the same persona (but different equipment sets) for 1H/Heavy and DW/Light.

For personas, according to my experience, armor abilities cost more than mainhand abilities. Also, mage and melee styles differ a lot. Therefore, I recommend to have at least 2 personas, one for melee and one for mage. As you by default have 3 personas, the rest could be kept for light armors or holy/dark mages after you are tired of 1H and elemental mages.

I always create blank persona when I need one. You can build the character from scratch, while create cloned persona might have some advantages of less clickings and setup when you are quite sure that you are doing the right thing, but it's at the cost that you might make some mistakes and will (potentially) consume extra soul fragments, which is actually quite valuable before you reaching Lv 500.

Alright, guess it's irrelevant for me.
Whoops, my bad for not reading the post fully. Should one also sell this idol pack, or is there something big that I should shrine it instead (guaranteed legendary maybe)?
I will keep one stuffers and shrine the rest then. Thank you.

Have you check jsldz's shop? He should be able to give you this:

And as you level up you can get more items there. Most are just exquisite or superiors, but that should get you started. Just make sure if the gear is still owned by jsldz and your level is at least equal. He will be quite angry otherwise.

Thanks, Noni-sama. One small issue however. Following your advice, I set my hover settings like this:

Context: my play cycle goes something like Imperil > Frenzy Blows > Sleep + Weaken survivors > attack survivors.
I only need hoverplay at the tail end of engagements, hence I set startRoundWithHover to false (and clearRound to true since it seems to be recommended for mobile). However, it seems that the [true] button in monsterBar is also affected by startRoundWithHover (with startRoundWithHover false, tapping the [true] does nothing), so this setup doesn't allow me to hoverplay it seems.
If I set startRoundWithHover to true, the [true] in monsterBar works for hoverplay (specifically attacking), but so is the monster box itself. If I tap their box for any action, I immediately attack as well (which is especially bad with sleep) until either the monster dies or emergency occurs.
I don't want to put all those actions with "false" in the monsterBar as you mention more than 3 is uncomfortable. So I hacked in an opposite solution looking like this:

As it seems I can perform action on the [false] monsterBar too. Is there some settings that I miss that would allow this? On that topic, what does hoverArea do? I notice that sometimes tapping a monster box doesn't always trigger hoverplay, is that caused by hoverArea? How does hoverArea work?

1) Is the Orbital Friendship Cannon a priority or worth it? 200 mana 50 cd. Will it one shot most floors?

2) What are the benefits of doing grindfest what rewards are at the end? What level should I try it out? And at what difficulty?

3) What is the fastest most efficient way to complete item world?

IW - install HV Utils and it tells you how many rounds and everything. Also works on mobile, with tampermonkey. I run firefox nightly on mobile with tampermonkey.

Mobile monsterbation: again, I use tampermonkey

should work as you want it to work, it does with me and I also have used DW on mobile with FB button. Okay then I used 5 buttons I guess. So don't limit yourself to 3

I had start round with hover : false
then monsterbar: [true] for the start of attack, imperil and weaken on with [false], and I think FB with false as well. Frenzied Blows has a 'spell code' just like the mage spells, so you can just put that number in the monsterbation setting.
Sorry I since have updated the script and changed the phone so I don't have the example anymore. But it should work as you desire. Maybe 'clear target' should be on fasle? I never understood what that does or why you'd need it, so do change that to see if it solves the problem. Because if hover isn't active at start of round, who cares if there is still a target selected? So try both ways.

By the way, best thing you can do is start with a new fresh download of MB, and then do the settings, don't save but copy, go to the online MB linter (link is in the script section of the forum), paste settings in linter, see if there are no typos, then go to MB and save without typos. Because unexpected behavior is often caused by typo. What happens is MB then just skips the set of settings with the typo, so changing doens't work or just partially - very annoying and impossible to solve without the linter.

How should I allocate my ability points in deprecating 1&2 and supportive 1&2 if I choose to use DW? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Mind control for sleep is the most important deprecating ability for you right now. Sleep is really good with dual wield. Weaken and imperil are also good to upgrade, but weaken gets really good at level 250 when you can max out the abilities, and imperil is good at any level for using on bosses, but it's not until level 310 when you can max out the abilities and spam it on all monsters.

For supportive, I recommend better haste, better shadow veil, (stronger spirit when you level up more,) better heartseeker, better regen, better cure, better spark, better protection, and one of the spike shields.

1) For my use case it deals about 150k damage in one use, so it will certainly KO all non-bosses. What you should be concerned however, is the fact it costs 200 SP (not mana) so you will certainly not have enough SP to do anything afterwards. If the round you are dealing with has no bosses, this will immediately send you to the next round full of fresh mobs, which could be problematic for 1H and for DW even more so, unless it's the last round. Starting level 225 Arena, most rounds will have at least 1 schoolgirl, so you can use it, then charge your SP beating the remaining girl. CD of 50 means you can't use it the very next round, though.

Not experienced enough to answer 2 nor 3, though I do heard that Arenas have better RoI except for crystals and was advised not to do GR unless I have spare time after clearing all arenas that day (which sadly never happens).

Just in case, you do know that randoms happens only once every 30 minutes? For my case, if I'm using my mobile browser, sometimes the browser decides to call the URL but not load the page and just use its cache, with its expired, or used, RE link. PC browser is more reliable in this case.

should work as you want it to work, it does with me and I also have used DW on mobile with FB button.
By the way, best thing you can do is start with a new fresh download of MB, and then do the settings, don't save but copy, go to the online MB linter (link is in the script section of the forum), paste settings in linter, see if there are no typos, then go to MB and save without typos.

With HVUtils, I can now see how many potential PXP I will get and the IW level I will reach. Sadly it doesn't show the PXP on the future levels so I still need to manually calculate it from the Wiki formula. If I do it right, it should be around 11 runs for IW10. Thanks for the hints.
Understood, I will try around then with a fresh MB, and check this linter out. Maybe I will ask around in Discord, too. Thanks a lot again. Btw, where can we learn the spell codes?
