I have a question

Legendary Hallowed Oak Staff of Heimdall

I will do IW

pen5+Spellweaver4
or
pen5+Archmage4

I don't know which one is better.

P5SW4 or bust.
You might be tempted to to P5A4 instead, but oak staffs don't have Destruction and holy mages have their MDB spread over their staff and their radiant phase, making the Archmage upgrades overall effect not that great.
At best you'd want P5A4 for the sake of only ever clearing daily arenas, but you can clearly forget about clearing difficult challenges with that.

Thank you.

I will do P5SW4.

Should I even bother trying to clear Grindfest at my current level (248) on Nintendo difficulty with a 1h melee light armor build?Attached Image

So, my Legendary Arctic Rapier of Slaughter is almost fully upgraded barring the damage and spell damage stats. Once I get a Peerless Rapier (hopefully of slaughter), should I salvage my upgraded Legendary for materials, or should I leave it as a back-up weapon?

If you can't sell it, there's no reason to keep it once the Peerless one is upgraded.
Unless you hope for the famous update to kick in, which would theorically allow us to upgrade a legendary to peerless. Which would avoid a lot of unnecessary expenses in that case.

I cant get rid of the riddlemasters stamina penalty. At start I randomly answered a lot because of ignorance but it never goes. I just learned red stamina thing, I thought it was default.

So my question is since Im at 1 stamina anyways, should I start grindfests at easy and try to get as many ponny riddles correct as possible?
What is the path of a screwed newbie like me takes?
Also shouldnt the answers of a low level not be equal to who understood the ways of my little ponny

first of all, you should be able to play IWBTH at your level. I'd say you should start replacing the leathers / shade with power armor - 1h really works well with power armor. Power of protection, balance or slaughter, I'd say.
Also, why grindfest? Do you clear all daily arenas every day? I'd say that should be enough, especially once you hit lv250. Grindfest at nintendo is a bit of a waste of time imho - better try to play IWBTH or PFUDOR always.
To play higher diff:
- forge block on shield (also look for a force shield, magnificent force. I'd even consider shrining some noodly appendage for shield to get a mag force)
- use weaken on everything
- use sleep once per round, at start
- IW your weapon to 10 and forge parry to 5 at least

take the path of rest first. Get stamina back up, way up. Use time saved by not playing to study the pony chart on the wiki. Then take the path of the arena's. At IWBTH or PFUDOR, but never never below Hell. Use weaken and sleep. Play only the number of rounds that your stamina allows. Answer all ponies correct.

I agree that the pony riddles should take into account new players who don't understand the ways of the pony. But you, my dude, are almost level 250! Mind you, the game is basically 'finished' at level 300, rest is post-game stuff. So you can't possibly be a new player and you should know the ways of the pony by now. Go do your homework, study the ponies on the wiki.

Are the levels where they start to introduce legendary enemies every level often replayed everyday, or do most people only do them once for the 50,000 credit clear bonus? They seem to take forever to do (even when not playing on mobile).

The average player clears every arena everyday to get credits and trophies. It's about time to 1) use the Monsterbation script, 2) play more efficiently to get faster.

Endgame players are able to defeat a boss (Manbearpig, White Bunneh, Mithra, Dalek) with only 2-3 blasts of magic at the highest difficulty, for your information. Schoolgirls take a bit longer, but it's still possible to make a quick work of them.

Short answer is yes they are replayed often/everyday.

If I have to pick and choose which arenas I do on a given day then I always do the highest level ones. For a while I was doing the two schoolgirl arenas (lvl 225 and 250 arenas) only and calling it a day. The regular clear bonus is an exquisite iirc, plus you get all those trophies to shrine or sell. Once you're lvl 300 and unlock Dance with Dragons the clear bonus is a Magnificent, and more opportunities for trophy drops. Yeah they take longer but the rewards are worth it for me. I do low level arenas when I'm on the toilet or commuting rarely.

Can someone explain rule 11? Does it give bonus if you have all of one type armor?

"11. Do not mixup the armor pieces"

You need to equip a single type of armor for the armor abilities to be active. Just slotting them is not enough.

Read the wiki for details about the character abilities and the conditions for their enabling

Oh, thank you. I did try reading through the wiki: https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Equipment_Basics I wasn't too certain where it explained the benefits. I'll switch too all light armor then.

Also is it worth it repairing Exquisite and Superior equipment? Its sort of expensive.

I remember if the condition is below 50% you will get status penalty. So the answer should be yes.

Meanwhile, worth to mention it's highly recommended to play 1H/Heavy for newbies, just in case if you want to play easier and faster.

Thanks, I was reading around the forums and wiki. I did pick up heavy equipment, and am using rapier/shield.

The interference/burden though really eats away at my mana pretty fast, using the auto-cast. Anyway to fix this? I mean auto cast is worth it for random encounters, which I just recently found out how to trigger. But on long arena or item world runs can't really get far.

aways use mana draughts, continuously. If needed, put the last remaining monster to sleep and focus focus focus (etc) to get the manabar up - but only when she's sleeping. IA slots are quite expensive on mana use, you could consider to cast manually when you have a channel gem. Also, buy a lot - a lot! - of mana potions.

Between reading and getting direct answers from here, been learning and making a lot of progress!
The sleeping and focus trick tip really helps!

Trying before when I was a noob, I was wondering why I wasn't getting any mana, and stopped altogether. Trying it out to your suggestion, and learning about overcharge its a game changer to get a lot further in lengthy arenas and item worlds. Thanks for being patient and understanding and lending your expertise!!

More importantly, consider buying Featherweight Shards from the Market to then use them on your weapons and armor. It will significantly increase your survivability and reduce your mana usage by lowering your Burden and Interference.
Those things are very cheap and really do wonders.
