Oh, you know, just a little admin. It's not like he's the one who owns the site, no big deal. :))))))) QUOTE(silverwaretooth @ Oct 5 2023, 01:11) How come he can decide the game to be called the HentaiVerse on his own?

Is there any way to speed up t/s besides using alt.hentaiverse.org? I hover at 2.3-2.5 at my fastest speed with fiber in the middle of the US.

It's all about where you are and how your connection is routed. At home I'm lucky to get 2.3 t/s, at work I get 3.2 t/s consistently. You could try a VPN, but in my case it ends up being slower. Or maybe rent a VPS in europe and VNC into to play

Wiki says "all types of trophies have the same chance to get a Peerless equipment"
If I just want to increase my chance of recieving Peerless, would it be better to shrine trophies without upgrading them? I'm less concerned about getting crappier quality.

Sooooooooo.... I have been playing DWD for a few levels now and have a few observations and questions. I am playing casually (money investment-wise) as Niten (have been since starting the game) and take about 60 minutes to clear DWD. DWD was not actually too difficult with some judicious use of draughts and less than a handful of potions with a Last Elixir every 3-5 DWD tries. This also includes use of FUS RO DAH every round I can. WOW! FUS RO DAH is so powerful! SO much more useful than Skyward Sword. So questions: 1. How am I doing? Is 60 minutes to clear DWD any good? 2. With FUS RO DAH being so powerful, is it better than all the other Fighting Style AoE Skills (eg. Frenzied Blows)? Especially considering overcharge cost? That's because it seems much better than Skyward Sword in usefulness so far post level 300. 3. Does 2H/Light pairing work? I want to change from Niten to 2H but keep Light because: FUS RO DAH seems to have made Niten's Skyward Sword useless so far; and... I really enjoy Niten's Domino Strike AoE and 2H has the better original version of it; and... 2H's skills seem to synergize better with FUS RO DAH (I think i won't be using DW's Frenzied Blows over FUS RO DAH); and... I already have decent Light armour (and better ones waiting for me as I level) and can't spend much Credits to buy good Plate/Power (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) 4. Is 2H/Light less survivable than Niten/Light? Niten has extra parry from off-hand Wakizashi but all 2H weapon does not have parry. 5. Choosing between Katana vs Mace vs Estoc. Katana's bleeding wounds have been very useful in my game so far and the accuracy has been great for ensuring Mace could be good for stunning but is crushing damage not good for high levels? Is Estoc's piercing/Penetrated A worth the much lower accuracy? Is the Longsword worth considering? Any info and recommendation for any question above is very welcome. Thanks so much for expert knowledge! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I've shrined a lot of trophies and have gotten a few tradable Peerless for my efforts. However getting a Peerless from trophies is extremely rare. You could have 8 thousand trophies right now shrine them all and not get a Peerless. Such is life. If you up them to tier 5 then you increase the chances of legendary gear dropping. The only guarantee of Peerless gear is a Peerless Voucher and you can only get those if you are a Follower of Snowflake or if you play isekai. Wait, is it true that every trophy has the same chance to give you a peerless? I thought the higher tier the trophy the higher chance of a peerless.

No, I think that's a misleading wiki line - what I think it's meant to mean is that there's a standard base chance that applies to all of them, and to make it clear it's not locked to the difficulty it was acquired from. Higher tier trophies definitely have higher peerless rates.

it's less that higher trophies have higher peerless rates, it's just they have less junk in the pool, if you can't roll lower than X then you naturally increase the odds of rolling the peerless, since the loot system is a "rolls a number, the higher the number the better the item" with minimums being a minimum on the number. so assuming it's a 1000 on the roll for peerless, in Theory it's always 1:1000, be it a lock of blue hair or a platinum ticket, in practice, if you can't roll under say magnificent (lets assume mag starts at 750) it's Technically 1:1000 for the peerless still, but you literally can't roll worse than 750, so it's Functionally 1:250 numbers pulled for simplicity sake as demonstation, not representative of actual quality table rolling. tenboro would be the fellow who made and owns this website, the source of everything you are enjoying here. they can name everything here whatever they want because we are guests in their house.

Do monsters below level 25 give gifts at all?
The wiki doesnt seem to indicate that they don't but I've not received any yet (been more than a week since I made the monsters). Don't have the resources to get them to lv25 yet and trying to figure out what strategy (e.g. more monsters at lower level vs getting each monster to 25 before making new ones)

Monsters below 25 are not active afaik. Are you sure you dont have resources? You can buy crystals on the market for very little, and new monsters require very very little to reach 25 power.

Just buying the smallest amount possible of each elemental crystal (100 @ 137 C) is enough to upgrade 1 mon to 25 and that can payed for by just the clear bonus of one arena (137 C * 6 = 822 C < 1,000 C).

For people who've been shrining their Festival Coupons so far, what ratio do you figure is coming out for Legendary vs Magnificent?

FDR is powerful, but with frenzied blows you can time it that you start every round with FB. That helps survival. sleep & weaken solve all other problems. 3. I'm not a fan of 2h. Light armor helps survival a bit, because of evade / low burden. 2h is not fast enough, though. And it lacks survival skills. 4. yes. 2h sucks (imho) 5. I don't know sorry - anyone else?

Honestly, it depends on the luck of each person. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) Just for you to know, these are my numbers: 2020 -> 3 in 26 2021 -> 4 in 29 2022 -> 1 in 33 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) And this year I will get less coupons than in previous years. if you are already in north america, then using hentaiverse.org is better than using alt.hentaiverse.org. Because the domain is covered by cloudflare, reducing your latency between your home and cloudflare would significantly boost up your speed. My highest 1H ts record is 3.8t/s. However, if you cast spells or frequently doing something else like using cures, potions, scrolls etc. then your ts would be reduced because of your hardware input delay.

QUOTE(mundomuñeca @ Oct 2 2023, 01:14) The trade-off between ADB and defensiveness is also related to your level, not just equipment.
For Heavy the same reasoning applies;
However you must not forget that below Mag your equip also have at least one PAB less (or even two for Leather);
Best thing is give it a try, to see if it works for your play-style, wich also comes in the equation..
Thank you again for the answer, very informative. But the devils are in the details. Just to get second opinions, do you (or anyone else here) remember when do you switch from non-rare to rare / more offensive gears? A separate question about gears. Can someone help me translate what's usually written in WTS forums when explaining gears to be sold? For example this gear: Magnificent Cobalt Plate Greaves of Warding (Lv.147) (147, PXP 320, Mag ranges: Dex 24%, End 34%, Pmit 8%, Mmit 65%, Crus 20%, Slas 74%, Pier 42%, Burden 4%, Interf 35%) 147 is obvious, and 320 is the max number in the potency tier's brackets. But what do the percentages mean? And can anyone help me assess whether it is a valuable gear or not? (I mean I know it's a low level filler gear, but I wanted to know if this can be done through the percentages)

Katana's are generally a weaker Longsword, the Longsword is generally speaking better in most of the individual stats, Katana are quite firmly balanced around the existance of the wakizashi for niten, as for if Niten is better than 2H, i genuinely have trouble telling myself and am still tossing between the 2 options, 2H gets a better cascade strike, but loses the offhand strike and the niten DW Crit bonus,
