QUOTE Should I attempt the tower whenever possible (since I don't get extra attempts by skipping a day, might as well, right?) or grind first to get closer to the monster levels? Right now they're a lot higher than I am and I only managed to clear by the skin of my teeth. Don't burn yourself out. The season just started so there's tons of time to make it to Floor 50. If you need an extra day or two for leveling, take them. Don't forget to gradually increase your difficulty so the levels come faster. At level 135, I'm comfortably doing Arenas and Grindfest on Nintendo. Just as an advance warning, the push from Floor 40 to 50 will need either tons of grinding and/or a good build+strategy. This is only my second season so take my opinion as you will (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by Valdragon: Sep 25 2023, 15:17

how are experts able to level up so fast.. whats the secret? are they playing on PFUDOR from start? I am currently out of stamina at 59%. ATM, I am at 160ish level reached by doing first 20 with PFUDOR then Nintendo all the way to 130, now playing at IWTBH (manageable but hard with 7,8 monster at a time) If I didn't die on PFUDOR early I would be 10-20 level higher, playing at PFUDOR is still so hard for me.. but I am seeing pro have already reached 230 above. QUOTE(DJNoni @ Nov 18 2017, 02:23) 8. Do not level up fastProbably you are thinking that faster you will level up - the more abilities, training and spells you will have and then your gameplay will be easier. This is not quite true. Not only you are leveling up, but so the monsters too. Your equipment, on other hand, do not level up with you. So in the end you might fight with monsters that will be too powerful for you to beat with poor equipment. There is only one way to make equipment to level up with you - soulfusing, but it is an expensive procedure. Do not push ahead, like a raging bull, trying to get high level as soon as possible. You should get the knowledge about the game, not just plain number that represents your level. Even by playing on lowest difficulty, you will level up fast. Especially if you got 2x EXP bonus from step 5 above. You can easily get level 200 in ~15-20 days with no haste. Play PFUDOR in 1H heavy style(prevent you from dying quick, if you are a rich mage nvm), do the adept learner training, upgrade Hath perk the Thinking Cap series and clear your arena everyday. i'm a little confused, why can't I see lower tier arenas? Are they gone after some point? I even turned off all scripts in case they were doing something funny. I distinctly remember there being like two screens of arenas, but not anymore?

Not anymore. There is now a limit of 14 arenas available to you, with the lower level ones disappearing as higher level ones become accessible.

Trying out the isekai, how do you level up with only one arena? Should I use grinding to level up to unlock more arena?

But at least I didn't imagine it, there was a time where there were two screens or something?

There indeed was and it was before 0.88, according to the patch notes. There are some old screenshots in the file history of the wiki if you want to reminisce ye olde tyme.

Definitely not PFUDOR from the start. I stuck with IWBTH until a bit after level 170, when I can fully upgrade sleep. It's super helpful. At 135 you can fully upgrade slow, which is only somewhat helpful. At 215 you can fully upgrade silence, which is also a big help, though 250 with maxed, spammable weaken is also a very reasonable place to start trying to do PFUDOR. DW or 1H are both good options. Focus on parry and block, and forge those and main hand adb a bit if you have the mats. You can always salvage most of your materials back later. I'm playing DW because it's faster at these levels, though riskier---if I screw up my overcharge management I can be in big trouble. I like to have enough overcharge for frenzied blows at the start of a big round of monsters, then sleep, and suddenly very few monsters are left to hit me. I'm currently level 234 with 62 stamina. Also buy and use consumables from the item shop. Focus on doing arenas, especially the ones closer to the bottom of the list. Check equipment shop every so often to fill in gaps of what didn't drop for you, but don't spend willy-nilly there. This post has been edited by mathl33t: Sep 25 2023, 17:34

Now I get to the 255lv and realized arena is too hard to clear. I endured previous arena with amount of potion support, but now monsters get pretty strong and my nitens are not enough to kill it.
I tried to solve this problem myself as far as I can, but I felt it's too hard to accomplish when I died last arena before to clear the boss round. I cleared those schoolgirls to my poor weapons with dozens of time, but it all became zero. It's too tired.
Are taking good weapons and buying OFC figurines the only way to pass this hard situation? I don't know how to make it through.

Well, personally, I never play normal. Start with towers, naked or just buy random crudes from the shop. Remember, we have 1m credit to start with. I buy a lot of potions and draughts and even some elixirs. Then do a couple of towers. Keep changing gear that you drop or buy in bazaar. Then at Hell, do the arena's. And use IW to unlock the next arena. Next day, do everything on IWBTH, except the newly unlocked arenas (well, actually, I did do those on IWBTH because by then I had a decent DW set. Superior and exquisites.) Day 3: PFUDOR.

Since you didn't say what you're doing, or what difficulty, aside from using potions some things you could try are: getting both weapons to IW 10, enchanting weapons (and maybe featherweighting to), forging more stats, shrining to try to get better gear, try a different stat spread, and, last but not least, simply drop the difficulty. Make sure you always have regen and draughts up and enough spirit to keep spark up. I run Niten/Heavy (not recommend) and clear the schoolgirl arenas on Nintendo without issue as long as I enchant and featherweight. Featherweight is just to help with mana costs, but if you're running light armor (like you should) then that shouldn't be an issue I think. I think I could clear on IWBTH but will definitely have to be more liberal with my potion usage.

Its very beneficial to level to 300 as fast as possible for DwD. Especially if you can do DwD before the item drop bonus ends. DwD gives you a magnificent as a arena bonus its also the best bet to get Legendary gear. This post has been edited by Hinoka: Sep 26 2023, 09:57

Does 1H weapons gain bonus from 1H abilities when you're dual wielding 1H weapons? I'm trying a DW+Heavy armor build on isekai. Stat wise I'm 60/60/40/50/10/50 on level 58
