Regarding reforge. When I reforge an item. Does it reset the level to 0 or just downlevel it by 1 lvl?

Ex : When I reforge IW5 does it become IW0 or IW4?

IW0, but for every level you will need 1 shard, reforging IW5 will cost 5 shards
Dark Descent Hath Perk can reduce amount of shards needed by half, rounding up

So non-Legendary rare types like Phase, Shade, etc do NOT salvage anything but scrap/low/mid/high grade material?

Greetings, I searched both EHWiki and here for a guide for how to start playing Isekai mode.

I didn't find anything, one question I was worried if I could switch back to Persistent or would I have to wait 6 months. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I took a leap and Yes I / we can go back and forth between modes.

So my question is how to start?
How to get Equip, Abilities, etc... I thought I would a least start with a random Roll for stats:

• Primary Abilities: Str, Dex, Agi, etc...
• A few starting ~Skill points to choose secondary chars abilities: Ability Points: 5 Mastery Points: 2 and
• some starting equip: clothes and weapon and/or credits.

I even looked for a Isekai free shop hoping for something... anything. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Any advice or assistance starting Isekai mode, much appreciated.

Yes, you can swap back and forth at any time.

It is otherwise almost exactly the same as starting in regular HV, so all the standard advice applies.

Be aware that the current Isekai season ends on 23 September, so you probably can't get too far right now.

Well Isekai is cool beacuse if you reach floor 50 you get +3 on all your stats and it stacks with previous seasons. You can't reach floor 50 anymore but you can aim for floor 30 for a +2. You get buy gear from others using persistent credits but the best way to gear up is to play during the start of a new season. The drop rate increases during the first few days. It might last up to a two weeks. Its beneficial to play as much during that time. The last few seasons I've managed to reach floor 50 with self drops. Also everyone has the Follower of Snowflake perk in isekai. That perk gives you a Peerless Voucher to use at the shrine once you've shrined 10million worth of trophies. Which you can probably get two if you play moderately during the whole season. This current season lasted over a year. I'm itching for a new season already.

As a mage, EDB bonus coming from your phase contributes your major damage source. MDB from radiant is quite less comparing from EDB(4 radiant's mdb bonus count towards~15% of your total MDB while EDB count towards ~70%)

Also forging EDB is way cheaper than forging MDB. If you are short on funds, get your EDB maxed first and forge MDB later.

Phase/Shade/Power give Energy Cells when salvaged in addition to scrap/low/mid/high.

Wasn't there like a bug that makes spark of life fail to activate if you have exactly 1 HP? I crunched the numbers and it seems like you're unlucky enough to have that happen to you.
