At least 3x Stamina consuming ALWAYS. I can't find the reason.

More details:

For some reasons (not RiddleMaster's penalty for sure) my Stamina usage is always as I'm in Item World Mode.
I clearly remember, that earlier when I fought Arena challenges about 30 rounds it was 1 stamina for all fight.
But now, as I see it's about 1 Stamina for EVERY 4-5 rounds. i.e. same challenge costs me 6 Stamina

At first I thought it's about Burden over 100 or Interference. But I fought without armor at all to find out - same extra Stamina cost.
I thought, maybe it's because of Nintendo - I switched to Normal - all stays the same.
I removed all from Auto-cast, tried different settings combos - all stays the same.
I can't find the reason, why my stamina use is so high.

I took some measurements:
76 Stamina + Arena Challenge 15 rounds = 72
72 Stamina + Arena Challenge 20 rounds = 68
68 Stamina + Item World 20 rounds = 63
63 Stamina + Grindfest 10 rounds -1 Per entry = 60

Later another Grindfest
62 Stamina + Grindfest 10 rounds -1 per entry = 59 Stamina

So, it's like 1 Stamina for every 5 rounds now for me in any battlemode [except Random Encounter].

P.S. Riddlemaster is not the reason. I solve his puzzles correctly, and there's no note on hovering my Stamina that there's his penalty.

if you are certain that you don't have the pony penalty, and you're not running any scripts that would mask that penalty, then you may have encountered an actual bug. In that case, please send a PM to tenboro.

Well, I rethinked this and checked again. Maybe I actually HAve penalty.

Wiki says that Stamina title readout should be red. I remembered I saw it red. But I thought it was because of little amount of it. Hmm...
Looking closer if I hover cursor on the letters itself the additional text appears. And only after 1 second.

Well. When I hovered, I saw dropdown text "Use restorative". But somehow I remembered from last time that Riddlemaster penalty info should be here too. But it appears only if hover the Stamina TEXT itself
AND WAIT for 1 second. I maybe hovered, but didn't wait that second - therefore didn't see it. Now I see it appears.

Yes. More likely I have penalty, but didn't notise the note, because thought it in dropdown text. And it appears after 1 second. Sorry. I'm sure, I solved 10 or more puzzles correctly. Now I know ponies' names for sure. But I didnt' think the penalty lasts so long. It's more 3 or 4 days already.
I'll try to wait it disappears. If I wont write here anymore - It actually was a penalty and I must be blind) Excuse me again.

If you need tips on surviving higher difficulty, ask here. (hint: block, parry and weaken).

I've ignored block and parry on both my persistent and isekai characters. I'm running Mage on persistent so I guess my first step should be to switch away from that to a melee build. Mage worked well till around lvl 120 and the longer round arenas but its definitely showing some cracks now at lvl 140. I've only been using weaken, and the other debuffs, when I run into Boss monsters because they only affect one target (abilities might change that but I don't have enough Mastery slots anyway).

And I'm running Niten w/ Heavy armor in Isekai. Which continues to work on Hell lvl 170 but I don't know how much of that is due to the nature of Isekai. I was thinking of changing my Mage to a similar Niten/Heavy. I like the splash damage and heavy armor lets me soak a ton of damage without worry. Again so far it works on Hell, and even Nintendo, but I don't know what to change to be viable on IWBTH or PFUDOR. I know on the front page its says Mage is not suited to beginners and I'm already diverging from the advice that says to use Light armor with 2H. I assume DW should use Light as well. Sword and Board is really not appealing.

if sword and board (shield) is not appealing, the DW is a great choice for playing PFUDOR. Niten is harder then DW to get going.

Trick for DW is to get a lot of parry and evade. For evade, you need to use light armors. Preferable 'of the fleet' or 'of the shadowdancer' (more expensive). Several combinations work well, but it's adviced to use one rapier in your set of weapons. For instance:
club of slaughter + rapier of balance (end-game set)
rapier of slaughter + waki of nimble (most defensive, for tower)
but use what you have. Shortsword of slaughter + rapier of nimble works as well. Just don't use axe at low level, because that doesn't give parry. Nimble is great for off hand.

Then use Frenzied Blows at beginning of a round, timing your overcharge is very important.

You can return to mage when you're near lv400 or so, then it's much easier.

TLDR: How much am I missing out with regards to forging/IW? How important is forging/IW?

I consider myself a daily casual player. While I like min-max, I probably won't be grinding hard. My original goal for the HV is to have credits/GP for gallery download (and is fulfilled enough). My current HV goal now is having some easy daily fun on the way to high levels (don't care if that takes many many months).

getting your melee weapon an IW10 is important because they would benefit from anti-parry, extra ADB, extra crit dmg, extra speed and hollowforging. Forging your equipments in low level grant more stats bonus, so you want to forge them at a cost you can afford, and same to your armors.

IW of armor is somehow less important. Useful bonus is juggernaut, grant you 2% more of max health each level. Getting each of your armor a Jugg lv5 would cost you tremendous amount of time.

IW of shield (if you play 1H or 1H mage) is not worth. There're only elements resistances for choices and getting a IW 10 of any combination doesn't seem to make a visible difference.

cores do nothing at the moment, they are to be used in a future update that hasn't come yet. Timelines are unknown.

Of course you want to forge your current using equipments, and you also want to forge the best equipments you can use. There's nothing to do with player level. Forging level is the number you can check in the upgrade page.

check the price of the core + HG material vs. the sale price in bazaar. But only if you're certain that the item doesn't have value. Some cloths have a lot of value, shielding plate and ethereal axe may sell as well.

It was a sadly failed attempt to prop up the price of hath. Tenboro announced it in advance (and it was planned for several years).

It is a useful perk though.
