The wiki says random encounters don't have any boost to monster stats, so why is it that they sometimes feel so much more brutal than arena fights with the same number of enemies?
I just had to flee from one, which is the first time I've done that in who knows how long. I almost forgot the option existed. But I spent that entire encounter healing. With Cure, Full-Cure, Health Potion, Health Elixir, and Spirit Potion all on cooldown, barely any Spirit left after three procs of Spark of Life, and already back down below half health, all before I even killed a single monster, I didn't have much choice.

It's random, sometimes you get bad luck and only face max power level monsters with a lot of chaos upgrades. And sometimes there are more lv1500 with low upgrades. Perhaps you should get more defense? Block+ parry, or evade+parry if you play dual wield. How? Get at least exquisite or magnificent gear and forge forge forge. Then forge some more.

I'm not sure what is making you feel worse when playing RE. Which style are you playing and could you post something about your character please?

I am pretty new to HV and would have a couple questions, since so far I have mainly done daily events and Arena to grind out some credits and lvl since I was reading that is the most efficient way to progress for beginners.

Now I was wondering what should I do with all the random gear that I drop and how can I tell what is good or bad gear?
When is it worth to give it to other players or salvage items?

Also some other question I got are there any good recommended builds to build after for fast clears and doing Grindfest, So I know better how to spread out my stats and what stats to look for on my gear?

Assuming this is for shrining in Isekai, Konata > IPU > FSM > Real Life > other SGs > TTT

If you spend all of your daily stamina on arenas (600 rounds), you should be able to consistently do at Konata, FSM, IPU, every day, and Real Life too every other day. If you're above level 400 you can do Real Life every day and one SG every other day.

1H, Heavy Armour (a mix of power and plate). Weapon is an Ethereal Rapier of Balance IW'd to Lvl 10. Gear's all Exquisite; seems like every Magnificent or Legendary drop for a while has been light armour instead. Maybe I should use some of the T7 holiday trophies I've been holding on to for "later".
Forging didn't seem worth the cost of bindings at this stage and with this gear, but Barrier and Nimble are both cheaper than I expected.

Nope. You can use a script to record the exp and compare the exp gain for one of the arenas, each day.

Have you tried using weaken? Seriously, hitting 250 and upgrading 0cd weaken kinda unlocked pfudor for me instantly, and I struggled even with iwbth prior to 250, same style, same equipment (~exquisites). Maybe makes game overall slower, and might need more mana restoratives, but definitely makes it a lot safer.

Does high burden (heavy armor) lower the effect of the Haste buff? If so, is Haste useful at all at ~90 burden?

When you salvage a forged item, you recover 90% of the materials used. So if you sink 10 Bindings of Slaughter into your current weapon, you eventually get 9 of them back when you're ready for a better weapon. Same goes for the Metals used. The only thing lost for good are the catalysts. I consider that 10% loss as a quality-of-life cost.

The Random Encounter fact had been confirmed by 10b. For the ROB it is also true, I suspect. But I haven't tested it thoroughly. My hypothesis is that single round battles don't consume stamina.

Apart from Tower runs in Isekai where I figure "what the heck" and use them at the same time as Mana, I've never really used them because they restore so little HP, and yet they still have buyers in the Market. Is there a strategy I'm not seeing?

Why are some riddle just simply too ridiculous. I get that it's there too prevent botting and all but this is impossible for a human to solve in 30 secs.
It's like the third time or so in a day, is there any thread to report riddles like this so it can be improved?

It seems hard to test it.
If we play all the Robs once just before and after Dawn, we play 8+8 Rounds and it costs 56 Tokens.

It helps a lot if you focus on the tail or face.

Are Health Draughts useful?

They restore the same amount of health as a Health Potion, just over time. Same for the other Draughts. They're not very useful for most players, but Mana and Spirit Draughts are.

Where can I get a decent sword for level 250~350? It seems like everything in Equipment Shop and Auction are about lv 450~500, the free equipment thread are also dead. Kinda stuck with a superior 70 level below me rn and as I level up more it's performance is getting worse and worse. I wouldn't mind buying one as long as the price is affordable.
