Thanks for the answer.

Some more questions:
What difficulty am I supposed to play on? I'm totally new and so far I have only played on the default(normal) difficulty.
What can I do after doing daily arena and random encounter? Grindfest seems to be the only option but this post specifically said don't do grindfest.

Play on the highest difficulty you can still comfortably complete things at. You can probably set the difficulty higher for REs than for the Arena since you only need to finish a single round. At higher level and with better equips, most people always play at the highest difficulty (PFUDOR).

Don't do Grindfest if you still have arenas or REs to do, but if you've finished those and still want to play, the Ring of Blood (if you have tokens), Grindfest, and Item Worlds are options. Just make sure you don't use too much stamina. Or you can go be free of HV for the rest of the day and do something else. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

at your level, it's okay to do a bit of grindfest to unlock the next arena. Mind your stamina though. As new player, you should be able to play on hard or even nightmare from the beginning, if you like a challenge. Just make sure you lower your difficulty when you first play an arena -> if you fail to clear it, you won't get access to the next arena when you level up. Trick to survival at very low level is to use defend to heal and focus to get mana. Do use your ability points and slot your abilities. And use the exp points on the PABs (STR, END, DEX, WIS etc). Take your inventory items with you in battle by slotting them in inventory slots. You need draughts a lot, buy some on the market (almost free so cheap). Also get some potions if you have credits.

use the supportive spells that become available, like regen and protect. Use the deprecating spell 'weaken' if needed and 'imperil' when you unlock it.

Hello,

I saw your other posts about getting into HentaiVerse because you needed some more GP due to the recent changes in requiring them to download originals. You should look at the WTS subforum for some free stuff. There are several shops that give free potions, free credits, and free equipment. Once you reach level 100 you can get 66k credits just for sending a MoogleMail due to the generosity of many kind people. This should help you get some better equipment so you can get a steady income stream.

I don't feel like to ask for freebies when I have totally no idea what I am doing, especially when it comes to equipment. I suck at character building in RPGs.
I think what I really need right now is a "trodden path" guide like "At level X use these equipment/abilities/spells. At level Y switch to blah blah blah..."

Hi guys, I'm back again with few questions.

1. I finally managed to get to level 220-ish now, but the EXP progression is so slow at nintendo. At this rate, I probably can only level up once or twice per day, is this normal? I have my EXP training at 100/300 as well
2. Best way to earn credits? I think I'm going to ran out of credits soon, as I couldn't keep up with the training costs.

As usual, thanks heaps.

okay.
until lv 100 you use any equip that you can get. Well, not staff, but melee. 2h, dw, 1h + shield, use whatever and switch when you get a better drop. Never play on Normal.
from lv 100 to lv 250: game gets harder and harder, so mind your defense. Choose one style and collect a matching set. Easiest (trodden path) is 1h + shield + heavy armor. Read the wiki advice and wiki advice advanced sections on this style. Get a weapon with parry, use the one with highest ADB that you can get your hands on. Use shops on WTS section. Power of Protection is very nice as armor, but any heavy armor works. Get a shield with highest block you can find. Usually that is a Force Shield. If needed, buy one or two Noodly Appendage and shirne them for shield. Chance of a good shield is quite high. But it's still a gamble. Forge the block on your shield to at least 5, higher when you have collected the funds.
Use imperil, and weaken if needed. Keep increasing your difficutly, every time your get a bit more block.
Level 250-320: Keep improving your 1h heavy set. You should now get a slaughter weapon. Preferably a rapier or if you can't get one use a shortsword. IW your weapon to 10 for more damage (void strike). Forge your weapon and shield to max. Start forging your power armors. Play on PFUDOR. Keep forging.
Level 320 and further: go mage.

That's the trodden path.

1. You should be able to do IWBTH at your level, that gives such an EXP boost. And yes, it's normal that it slows down. Lv 500 takes 2 years or so.
2. Play daily arenas and sell the trophies that you get from the end-bosses. Then unlock the lv250 arena and get even more trophies. Sell them. Play RoB FSM every day / as much as possible. Sell the noodly and trophies.
3. Don't train so much that your credits run out. Train just a little bit less.
4. easiest way to get more credits: donate a gold star. Best investment in the game that you can make.

I noticed the price of GP is up 20c from a week ago. Is something going on that's driving the price increase?

Is doing the arenas at the highest level the fastest way to get XP outside of buying stars? From what I've read that seems to be the case, and I've now maxed adept learner and bought thinking cap to make my grind to level 400 easier.

Can't really use crypto, but I wanna level up ASAP to transition to a mage so I'm just wondering.

For the most part, yes. If you can clear 100-round IW on the highest difficulty (go for a legendary/peerless shade of the arcanist with as high pxp0 as you can find), that beats some of the arenas. DWD gives the most xp until you unlock PGC and SPL. The 65-round arena may be the best xp/time, followed closely by 75 and 70. hc br lists the following ranking of xp/round in their wts thread (translated from Chinese):

100

 80
---IW100rounds(initial PXP of 377 or greater)

IW is pretty brutal, but thanks for the info. Are other round counts in IW not worth it compared to any of the arenas? I don't have anything that puts me at 100 rounds.

Looking at that info I might actually turn down the difficulty when doing Eternal Darkness for drops since it's kinda annoying to do at PFUDOR for the EXP it gives.

My current one is Peerless Jade Power Helmet of Protection . Considering i am mostly doing arena and thinking about switching to mage after enchancement updade whenever will it happen should i soulforge and enchant slaughter one? Does having higher attack makes it better?

If you intend to be a mage, then you can sell the Peerless and use the Slaughter temporarily. You may not even have to do soulfuse on this equipment, and you can sell it later as well.

Yes, it's dead.

Now use "The Market" (in "Bazaar").

It's a decent enough build for the level. If you want to keep playing as 1H heavy, then I would suggest replacing all of the armor pieces with some Power * Slaughter pieces eventually.
Daemon Duality 1 would be a good investment if you don't already have it, and it's roughly 5m credits worth of hath right now.
Adept Learner is good if you want to level up as fast as possible, and is one of the cheapest things to train (total cost: 5.1m)
Drop trainings are a credit sink for the rich, they're not really worth training fully.

If you want to switch to mage soon, then I would suggest saving up for that transition, since it costs quite a bit for a decent set (maybe like 25m to buy a half decent set of gear, then IW the staff and armor, and forge the staff and prof cottons, and get the prof perks)

Hi I'm really new to this. Is there a guide for a 1h build? Like stat distribution and what skills to use? Thanks!
