Hi, I've been transfered to elec mage for ~1 month.Now I have full L 4phase+1cloth set,all having wrong prefix,while I only upgraded staff till forge limit. I can finish most of arena without elixirs,but grindfest is too hard for me.
Postage Paid,Vigorous Vitality,Effluent Ether,Enigma Energizer,Eminent Elementalist and IA5 are all the hv-related perks that I have.
I already read Nezu's mage guide,and it helps a lot.Thanks to it,I've chosen elec mage and brought a charged cap as my prof slot.
So what is the next thing I should do to get improvement?
And luckily I dropped a Legendary Radiant Phase of Heimdall in arena.I know its worthy,but there was a Legendary Radiant Phase Robe of Heimdall that failed to get any bidding in recent Super's auction.So I'm a bit worried to auction it and now planning to use it to exchange those charged phase equips I need,but got still no reply so far.
how should i deal with this precious Pant?

• that radiant will definitely sell. Good item, with high EDB. just send it to auction, I'd say.
• Using elixirs is part of life as a mage. Just buy them in shops if needed.
• If you have more hath, Demon Duality helps a lot
• forge the shit out of your proficiency cotton. Must be fully forged. I bet your prof factor is still way too low, am I right? If so, use 2 cottons of the elementalist. Prof factor is more important than damage or cast speed
• after getting enough prof from forging the cotton, forge your phases. Yes, that is ridiculously expensive, but you'll get a good share of the material back when you salvage. So don't wait until you have all charged.

Is there any explanation about SP (Spirit?) I can understand HP and MP but not this one. what is it used for?
I have tried to read the wiki but the explanation about SP are only in formula (which I also don't get it at all).

From this thread however, I do see it mentioned about it in point 17 (Cast Spark of Life with care)


Second question, about explanation 21. (Do not play Grindfest; play Random Encounters), how do i get this?

I have 27 chaos tokens for next monster. Should I keep going, or round out my low monsters? Which should I start chaos tokening up. I'd think scavanger yes?

Thanks for your reply,and yes,my prof factor is only 0.656 now because I don't want to upgrade a wrong prefix cotton robe of the elementalist and phase is too expensive to forge.So forging the proficiency cotton is my next thing to do.
As for perks, after selling that radiant pant,I may be able to buy tens of thousands of hath,should I put them all in Demon Duality?are there any other perks worth concerning, like exp bonus?

the random encounter will ge in the same box, in News page or in any Gallery. Easiest way to find them, though, is to install HV Utils script + HV Utils URL script. They will catch the links for you.

If you level up enough, you'll get Spirit Shield as defensive spell. That uses Spirit Points to absorb damage. Also, if you have enough Overcharge, you can turn on Spirit Stance by pressing 's'. That will speed up the game, monsters die faster.

My advice is to first open more monster slots. There is a point where it becomes slightly better to invest in a couple of levels of scavenger, but it is easier to just open slots until you have time / interest to do the detailed optimizing.

perks are not really needed to play the game, but there are several perks that give you a nice boost. The deprecating spell perk is nice for mages, maybe get that as well instead of putting all in DD. Exp perk is nice if you want to level up faster. I did that, but other players want to stay at lower level because the equipment drops are more valuabe. But I think equip prices have dropped so much for everything that isn't near-perfect, that it doesn't matter that much anymore.

also, don't wait until you have the right prefix to start forging. Just salvage the forged gear if you ever get a better one. You'll get 90% of the materials back.

That isn't really the reason. You do not benefit of levels past ~300 or so, as the damage mitigation formula starts to go nuts and enemies vastly outscale your offensive growth, provided you got your full legendary set with some forging. You can try to fix the bleeding with DD, more upgrades that matter less and less the more you do them, but it's just delaying the inevitable.

Enemies get more and more tanky. The game will take longer and longer for the exactly same thing. Delaying that for a few months is not a bad idea, if you play actively. At the very least past 400 that comes in handy, though exp booster also lose their value more and more at that point.

I'm using the default HV font and Monsterbation works fine for me.
Some scripts(but not all) are incompatible with the default font, but as far as I can tell, it's only because the author did not bother to implement the parsing of it(it's not just plain text), not that there's something inherently conflicting between scripts and default HV font.
If there's a script you want to use that is not compatible, you can probably just add default font parsing or get someone to do it for you.

Ah, you are right. When I tried using only Monsterbation and Track Drops, it has no problem with og font. Looks like the problem is with HVUtils and HVToolBox. Is there a guide on adding parsing? I am new to this scripts thing.

as a quick fix, until you sort it out, just change to a custom font like verdana bold 8 pt.

yes that's correct. Soulfused items, credits above 1m, all cores and peerless equip will be transferred. This takes place when Persistent is updated. That usually takes a couple of weeks, but it depends on the testing. Sometimes it takes longer. In this update, I hope we get it sooner after Jun 21, because a lot of players really miss HV Market and something similar will be the new addition to the game.

yes, you gain more EXP per round in isekai when you clear more tower floors.

Oh, by 'basic stat' I was talking about the Isekai bonus that is underneath the Primary Attributes section of the Persistent home page.

As for the Tower bonus to the Isekai EXP gain, I'm assuming it gets reset every new season so that it's fair for all players, just as the Tower resets its levels.

Yes, the exp bonus is reset when new season starts.
