Definitely don't do 1h mage in SG arenas. But as fragile as staff mage is, SG arenas are the easiest place for it to survive. SGs don't do much damage, and you get a few turns every round to heal back up after the other monsters die. For a low budget mage set, you might need weaken/scrolls in the later rounds of DWD, but it's entirely doable. 1h mage is to survive the other content where staff mage dies horribly without spending lots of money on upgrades. 1h mage is fairly speedy vs regular monsters.

I already have two auto slots, I did not get the third one because spirit shield has same cd as regen, and regen cannot be auto-casted anyway, so I’d rather always cast the two together. And 1H heavy doesn’t use haste nor sv. Or is it that my understanding is incorrect?

Will 10% damage reduce my time taken to clean arenas? It sounds a bit counterintuitive.

I reduce a 60 round to around 35
But this cost me to use less canon.

Still, I record my clear time of 42 min arena to around 33.

I totally disagree with the statement that school girl do not do much damage.
I use light armor 18K HP. and Asahina or Asakura always hit me with 17K damage or even 3X K consecutively.

They DO a lot of damage. The thing is, spirit shield exists, and school girls have no/little anti parry/block/evade, unlike all the other baddies. So you literally can't die when only school girls are left, thanks to spirit shield, and likely won't get hit period.

I sometimes lost 400 spirit in 2 turns and failed a spark of life.
Their SP attack deal a lot, followed by MP attack.

That is a more of a problem when you are low level and don't have good enough equip. You generally get a lot more tanky the higher level you get. (same for enemies btw.) Offense scales much less than defense.

Spirit shield can reduce your SP by at most 20% of your base spirit, provided it's maxed. That is reached when it deals more than 60% of your max HP as damage. Given spirit tank, only greed and general misplay gets you into trouble, no matter what though. If you wanna afk, do 1h melee. That generally doesn't care. Mind you, it can still randomly lose 500 spirit in 3 actions, but that's an ultra rare occurrence. Mages need more attention, and reward that with more speed.

2. What monster damage type is the best, in terms of like being effective against the gear of most players?

And:

1. The player base does prefer Giant, but the difference is not that significant.
2. Many high-level players play Mage style, so their equipment is vulnerable to physical attack.
3. It doesn't matter that much. The higher the PL level, the higher chance the monster will show up in the battle. What matters is the Chaos upgrade.

No. There are still a lot of people taking trophies.

The one with good price is having a leave.

Generally 40-50 turn with only normal attack.
13 turn for Konata.

Did you use Monsterbation? Usually the keypad just cast butts or use draught. (or OFC on late round)

Never invest time on knowing how to use.

And I don't update my window or browser a lot.
I cannot use lot of add on and I sometimes has problems visiting some sites.

Now we know why you think SG is danger on your level. With Monsterbation, we just hover the cursor to the enemy, and it will attack automatically and auto stop when your HP got low, etc.

I don't install flash many years ago. But I think browser is very low usage and should be very different to flash.

I'm still using F1-F6 for potion/draughts
