Only chaos tokens get doubled.

Tokenizer both increases the probability of token drops & shifts the ratio towards chaos tokens.

Hell, I'm already breaking changing way too much at the same time, I may as well make Tokenizer alter the relative droprate between the two token types too.

It doesn't really matter. Unless you spend truly ludicrous amounts of crystals, your monsters will very rarely bring you gifts from winning battles. Most of the fighting is done by high-level players (mages generally) against high-level monsters. It's all about the guaranteed gifts, so only quantity of (named) monsters really matters. If you're planning way far ahead, check the wiki page on monsters. High END and physical attacks are usually hardest for mages to handle, but those monsters types are also more popular, making it less likely that your monster will be show up in battle.

at your level, IW10 is not needed for armors. Also, this is a nice item, but not one you will want to use for a long time.
First of all: 2h, really? You may notice that 2h is very hard to play. The defense is too low, and there is not enough offense bonus to compensate that. You'll struggle at higher difficulties, even with top-notch legendary gear.

You could consider switching to Dual Wield, if you want to use light armor. Or 1h + shield + heavy, which is also good.

In any case, you'll want Fleet or Shadowdancer suffix for your light armor. Negation doesn't help much in survival. So you'll probably replace this legendary in a couple of months. Don't bother getting IW on it.

Finally, if you would want IW on armors: Jug 5 is the only thing that is interesting, rest is bonus.

I'm surprised that you can do PFUDOR with these, but as long as you can do PFUDOR it's okay. DW and 1h are just easier and faster. Don't let anyone tell you what to do. But if you ask for my advice: yes you should switch to another style.

Let me just say it like this. I checked how 2h compares to 1h a month or 2 back, and to me it was a really quick decision that it's not worth compared to 1h. To the point I didn't upgrade stuff to check further. For reference, this equip has been used:

While this is a messy set, it was way way too slow. And even upgrades wouldn't help there much. Probably a fully savage shade of shadowdancer would be required, and then you are probably better of trying Niten instead as well.

2h... is in a really unfortunate situation. It works. Yes. But with our current state of the game, it's just too slow, and requires quite rare equip to start being somewhat competitive.
The question is just how it's going to be in a year. 2h deserves all the buffs in the world, and if it gets some... who knows. Maybe it's going to be a lot faster, at least outside of school girl arenas.


Change in style is always a lot of work and a hassle. Gotta decide for yourself if you'd like to do that.


edit: Also I just forgot to switch back to 1h and got a 10 enemy RE. Yes it works. But.. ugh.

If you are poor (like most players, including me), maximizing the quantity of your monsters is definitely better. You get more rewards and it costs you less.

It is very hard and expensive to create a high-end monster, and even if you do manage to have one, it won't give you as many gifts as 20 low-end monsters.

However, I've been out of the loop for a little bit in regards to HV. What exactly are armor cores? Just salvaged some legendary equipment and received 'Legendary Armor Cores' alongside the high-grade materials.

For now, they do nothing. They are for the next update of HV. Plan is that we can use those to upgrade legendary weapon stats. With a lot of those and a lot of credits you could even turn a legendary into a peerless, that's what we've been told.

Honestly, I don't think I can wait for long as the 3 school girl arenas will take me about 90 min, and I'm already in full leg power armor(sincerest appreciation for Salty Fish Shop 2.0), but I will manage to wait if it is really hard to play mage at my level, and at PFUDOR.

And if I decide to become a mage, what kind of mage is the best, or one of the best? I've seen people saying that holy is powerful, but I've also seen many element/dark mages. Or maybe mage is so powerful that I don't need to care much about the difference between element/dark/holy, or I'll just decide according to what kind of equipment I have?

Just don't let yourself get blinded by people with actually good mage builds. The same kinda "perfect" ish gear isn't even that bad for 1h. Yes, it's slower, which eventually is good enough of a reason to go mage, especially with you generally becoming more tanky with level. But it's also gear with (usually) 9 digit credits invested into it.

A not particularly good mage build is going to struggle a lot more. The lower the level, the more you struggle. (less parry and evasion being the biggest factors)

I play mage in isekai not long after 310 with magnificent and some exquisite gear, but only in SG arenas, which are the easiest place to play PFUDOR mage. I use Weaken in the later rounds, but that doesn't cost too much speed because SGs take a while to kill anyway. For other content, I do 1H mage until I get quite a lot more levels and forging. For this type of maging, an elemental style is best. I wouldn't invest big money though until near level 400, except maybe on the staff.
