QUOTE(Pretty anon @ Dec 29 2021, 16:28) Are you using Spark of Life and Spirit Shield? At your level Spirit shield with the available ability upgrade does suck a bit but it should keep 1HKOs away and Spark of Life should prevent you from dying.
But to answer your question, yes, with block and evade you nullify all damage from the attack (both phys and magical). Parry means no damage from physical attacks too, so you could always get a nice shield and forge the block, get some weapons with some nice parry stats, or if using light armor get something with more evade, shades should do even more work providing you with less burden which means even more evade.
I have both but didn't use it since I rarely use them other than on boss fight in arena since I used to play in Hell. So I am very surprised to be killed just right before last battle. I was sure I got around 50% HP left but then poof, gone. Looking at log there is 5k void damage. I got 42% block and 17% parry. Should I raise my parry even if it will cost my block? Perhaps I also need to pay attention to the battle instead just click it while working on other thing in main monitor

QUOTE(Rhydin @ Dec 29 2021, 00:28) The wiki was updated recently, check the following pages: AdviceAdvanced AdviceYes, Power Armor is the most popular choice for 1H Melee players. Slaughter suffix offers the best damage and therefore clear speed, however, other suffixes are still fine at your level, especially if survivability is still an issue. Soulfusing also allows you to actually use equipments that are up to 100 levels above you, so in your case you can technically use items up to ~ level 380 - keep that in mind when checking shops and auctions in WTS. For stat distribution follow Melee Stat Advice, you're not too far off, just add more DEX in the future. That's perfect! Thank you a bunch again!

Ah, possibly a crit but most likely killed by a magic/spirit attack. As you level up monsters will start to have MP and SP bars and when they use those you'll see some damage spikes like never before which is where Spark and Shield come to your aid. Those damage spikes are not that common in difficulties from Normal to Nintendo but they do happen from time to time so maybe consider slotting one of those in an Innate Arcana slot. For the stats it's just a matter of leveling up more and getting better equips I guess and I'm no 1H expert but they always say "forge your block" so surely having as much block as you can is important. Perhaps we can wait for some input from other players regarding that (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) And in that case might I interest you in the Monsterbation script? It saves your fingers by doing the clicking just by hovering over the monsters and even stops the clicking whenever you go below certain thresholds, like low HP, MP, SP, buff/debuff expiring and stuff.

QUOTE(Ovan Kura Majutsu @ Dec 29 2021, 16:59) Oooh. I see. Also I decided to stay at Hell until I unlock the auto cast thing. Got 1 hit K.O. right before last stage in arena. Void is scary af (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Is there no way to block void damage? You better use your Hath to buy the autocast slot ASAP. Trust me, it's Hath (and Credits, if your Hath is not enough so you need to buy them with Credits) worth spent (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

So I just got unlucky from crit eh? I will stick with 1H Heavy since I read it was recommended to beginner. Maybe will switch later if I get good equipment set in higher level. Just tried the scrip and holly sheet, it's so good and make the fight easier. Thank you very much for letting me know about the script! To gather as many hath to unlock the perk. This post has been edited by Ovan Kura Majutsu: Dec 29 2021, 15:35

QUOTE(Adhinferno Bloodmoon @ Dec 29 2021, 05:03) First you need to feed them Crystals until they are at least PL(Power Level) 25 and then you give them name, also name their skill if you like too. You can see more about ML Mechanics here: https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Monster_LabYes, i read the wiki and according to my screen they should be able to fight ? How can i know if they actually did ? If they always lose stats will still be stuck at 0/0. This post has been edited by log1c692018: Dec 29 2021, 20:09

QUOTE(log1c692018 @ Dec 29 2021, 19:06) Yes, i read the wiki and according to my screen they should be able to fight ? yes the are able to fight. There are just so few players that are low level enough to encounter a lv25 monster.... chance of any of these monsters getting into a fight is very slim. However, they will bring you gifts every 3 days! How nice is that? Gifts, and no violence needed. That's a win, I'd say!

For Isekai mode, is it better to just pay the equipment shop for better gear, or should I just grind it out for the drops?

That depends on what you define as "better gear". If you only aim for Exquisite/Magnificent Equipments, then you better grind it out from drops. If you aim for Legend...... then I think you should consider grind for money to buy them (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) As for Peerless..... I think I don't need to say anymore XD Personally, I only ever buy Equipment twice for as long as I remember playing in HV Persistent. As for Isekai, I stick with what I get from drops. Sound I do grindfest or item world? I mean for quick leveling. I am aiming for 250 or should I keep doing arena and random encounter only everyday?

you don't have a donation star, so you can't attach equip in MM. But you can buy equip from others, right? On the forum, there are a lot of cheap good gears available

Well, yeah, playing more will get you more exp. Item world will be more stamina efficient and easier than grindfest for exp at low level, but I wouldn't bother spending the stamina unless you can do a good number of rounds in there on at least nintendo difficulty.

So I've seen it posted often that holy is the best given the best gear/hath perks, and I've seen it said that even at that point you'll still randomly die in pfests. So I'm a little confused as to why charged heimdall goes for much less than radiants in the auctions? I would have imagined the survivability is much higher with the charged? Is it the case that you need radiants to one shot everything and that's the only way of surviving or something, am I missing something here?

Basically, yes. You need firepower. Otherwise the monsters will kill you. Imperil would help other styles but holy wants to play without. Charged gives you time to imperil. And after imperil, they die quickly

What are some good build to get past the level 250+ wall? Usually go for a mage build as its super fast up to 250 but past that i hit a wall and it takes forever to level up. I have tried to dabble into DW and H1+shield but felt it was not as good to invest the time into. Obviously im doing something wrong seeing how far behind i get in isekai.
