Sure IW and GF gives off the illusion of having better drop rate due to higher monster density compared to arena, but except when you already have a really high lv. of drop training I think arena are still more profitable...

The thing with gear is, that outside of arena final rounds and RE, you just don't get much, period. Depending on the training and your level, the actual droprate of gear is about ~1%. That means, with an average of 8 enemies per round, you'd get about 8ish equip drops per 100 rounds. Now consider how rare legendaries are (0.25% base chance I think, so @pfudor 1.5%?), and you quickly see how it's not going to happen.
Most good gear comes from RE. That's just how it is, at least until level 400. Then it's territory I do not know.

For normal drops however, a GF can be a decent thing to do once in a while, but it's still pretty bad without crystarium. IW is only a good thing if you have a need from it. Scales too hard. IW round 50 is comparable with GF round 375. Of course, due to RNG affecting things heavily, it can feel a bit worse in GF, as you have so many more rounds where things can RNG you, but it should be roughly accurate.

Do you soulfuse your eq.???
If not you probably outleveled your eq. already so maybe it's time to replace them...
IMO the new one is better...
The hit chance and crit chance difference are actually small as the range is quite narrow to begin with...
Probably the main downside is the DEX, as you'd lose ~11 point there when fully forged...
I don't know how much niten really value DEX so maybe someone else will give you better answer...

QUOTE(OnceForAll @ Nov 28 2021, 00:23) *

I'd say the new one is definitely better.

Hit chance is not that important, both shade & power armor will grant you a 200% hit chance in the end (and a little bit of forging if you can't get rest of needed hit chance from your PAB).

Crit chance might look awful, but if you check "Fully Forged Scaled" you will see the absolute difference between them is only 0.5%. You will get the idea.

Oh thank you !
QUOTE(Mud attheBaseofLotus @ Nov 28 2021, 00:52) *

If both were not forged, then first one is better, but since second already heavily forged... If you break second for resources you would lose at very least 7 bindings of slaughter + other stuff, not sure if its worth switching.

The lesson here: dont forge junk.

To Snom, since it's still use another bad stats Katana, A graceful philanthropist gifts Snom the current using Katana which Snom heavily upgraded later. Sinc then, Snom does not get any good Void Katana. By Arceus's bless, Snom gets a new better damage stats Void Katana ! But heavily upgraded Katana is still be Snom's treasure. Thank you for a new (painul) lesson. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

I wrongly purchased 6000 tickets for the Peerless Ruby Power Leggings of Warding. You know, I just want PHOH. Is there any way to take back my gp?

Just to be clear, there is no real limit to purchasing tickets for weapon and armor lotteries correct?

For gathering credits through HV, are arenas the best way to maximize your credit gains? What about GF in comparison?

yes arenas are best for credits. Farming trophies in Schoolgirl arenas. And selling energy drinks from precursor artifacts. Also, do RoB FSM whenever you can.

In comparison, PFFEST is only interesting after the arenas, and only if you have full crystal perk and quite some levels of the drop-enhancing trainings.

I'd say crystal perk and whatnot doesn't matter. After Arenas there's nothing better than GF to do if you don't happen to need IW. And you have Stamina left, provided you don't want the exp bonus from high Stamina. GF is also super chill for 150 rounds or so, even with relatively bad gear. Very afk play compatible.

Nah. The drops from GF are pretty bad and most of your income from GF would be Crystals.

Here is my data: My average total pure income (excluding consumables costs, stamina costs at 9000 credits per stamina point, calculated by BattleStats script made by firew) of my last 100 Pfest runs is 252,047 credits. And my average crystals drop per run is at about 77796.5, which is 6.483 packs, and 129, 660 credits if you sell them at 20k per pack.

That's to say, about half of the income of Pfest run is from crystals.

Your post is nice and all, but doesn't say anything against what I wrote. I was just saying that GFest is not bad AFTER arenas, given that you have Stamina left. Saying it's not worth spending that before you have high amounts of crystarium feels weird to me. It's chill and if you don't mind spending the time, it's not very different to the lower level arenas. When it comes to general equipment drops, there's basically no difference from Arenas in general, outside of the obvious clear bonuses of 300+ arenas. The higher monster density makes up for the final round bonuses.

I remember seeing somewhere that you don't get Hath Perks right away after you buy them. Even if you clear the cookies.
The last thing I bought there is Dæmon Duality I.
Is there any way to check if I have it activated? Or I need to buy some easily noticeable perk like Innate Arcana next to be sure?

you can see the damage that you do. With monsterbation, you can see the total damage per arena. helps if you record the damage before you get the perk, of course. But normally, DD1 is activated within a couple of hours.

(I suspect it is activated when tenb flushes his toilet)

I didn't do that, sadly.

What about buying one more perk and checking its successful activation? Will it mean that DD1 is on?
Or there's no such a thing as an "activation queue", and the perk that was bought later could be turned on earlier?

Thanks.

no queue. the server needs to sync that's all. Yeah you could buy another perk, but really it's not needed. You should be able to see the effect in number of turns on IW for instance. If you didn't remember turns because you don't care about turns, then why get DD1?

So, in some intervals, the server checks if any perk has been purchased. And if it finds one or more, it activates them simultaneously.
I'll really just buy one then, and will stop thinking about it.

Advice article on the wiki!
Seriously, I thought I'd get it sooner or later anyway. And I suppose, it should be helpful even now, since faster battles - less damage.

Thanks again.

I saw a user on the forums who joined the site November of this year, and is now Level 310 after less than a month.

Short of asking the user themself how they did it, how is leveling up this quickly typically achieved? It took me years to reach Level 300 -- although I have to admit I only do random encounters.
