Why are people only taking Persistent credits in the WTB section for Isekai? If you are short on ISK credits, what then is the best way to earn them since you can't sell stuff?

By the way, I am about 100 levels behind everyone else on ISK. Since good accessible equipment is hard to come by, should I be soulbind exquisites? Soulbinding magnificents while having to buy soul fragments is where most of my ISK credits kinda went...

I don't think you need to rely on exquisite. Magnificent isn't that rare, and you should be able to get 1 noodle per day past lvl 200. And then you upgrade as much as you can. Exquisites are actually the most important thing to get as material, for upgrades. Also, below lvl 200, there's no need to think much about magnificent+. In case you aren't there yet.

The game kinda works in a way, where you progress to higher level equip with levels. 200 gives you access to noodles, a tier 6 trophy. It guarantees exquisite, allows for a likely enough magnificent or a rare legendary. Basically the point where you start upgrading to magnificent and shouldn't have any superior anymore after a bit. 300 gives you access to a tier 7 clear bonus in its arena. That guarantees magnificent and legendaries are becoming quite a bit more likely, so here you should have magnificent+ gear after a bit.


That said, Isekai is still "new", so hopefully some things will be polished. A lot of things of the normal game make little sense with the huge trade restrictions and "you do your thing". Good example, material. Isekai should probably have general material usable for anything. For example I don't need cloth or leather, so all the 37 high grade cloth and 25 high grade leather dropped so far are utterly useless. Even worse, the completely useless 12 crystallized phazons and 6 shade fragments, while I'm massively lacking the material for force shields.

Persistent is rather reliant on trade if you want to get anywhere. While they tried to mitigate this somewhat by giving salvage a general +1 to materials, it's not enough. Especially with special ingredients not being able to get salvaged. But to be honest: The mode has real potential. It just needs to get adapted a little more.

Im using Legendary Mithril Kite Shield of Warding in isekai atm as it had better stats than the force shield i had, and im mostly doing isekai for extra persistent credits. (handed in like 100 trophies for shields and got 1 force)

I'm just trying to get to floor 30 before the season ends, so that way I can get the +1 stat bonus I heard about...

Getting a star donation would help a lot -without it you can't trade on isekai.

When is the "drug all monsters" option unlocking in the monster lab? I have some monsters below half morale, and the option still says "requires: none", while I could drug them individually. Do they first have to get out of green morale? Feed all monsters works fine.

Also, while I'm at it, does anything influence what Monsters bring you? I know you need a certain PL for higher quality materials, but what about special materials and/or bindings? For now I just got a bunch of min level (25) ones, 3 ~200 and one 500 to test, and I don't see much of a difference period.

as soon as one is yellow-unhappy, then the option becomes available. See the wiki for the exact morale threshold for yellow. Alternatively, you can give happy pill individually, or just use HV Utils to do that for you.

why would you say that the rapier is an upgrade from the shortsword? Because of penetrated armor? The ADB on the shortsword is better, as is the parry. PAB's are almost equal. I wouldn't bother, just play imperil style and shortsword is just as good as rapier in my humble opinion. Perhaps you should fuse the shortsword?

Imperil isn't that great as melee. It misses half the time unless you focus. That alone is enough of a problem to not bother with it more than you have to.
Then if you need to imperil, weaken on top of it is too much, and melee weaken can enable you to do things you'd have major trouble with otherwise. (though it also misses half the time)
The third issue is, that the bleed of a shortsword doesn't work well with Vital Strike. In exchange you have a more reliable Merciful Blow, but that's almost never useful outside of the super tanks like Spaghetti. Vital Strike is one of your best assets against school girls and the likes.

I have plenty of short sword experience from isekai, and can't say I like it. It works okay, but you start to realize more and more how meh it is. And isekai has the half HP for schoolgirls and co benefit, too. That said, this is just about a general Rapier idea. This one in question might not be worth going for soul binding. The cost would be very high, too. If it weren't for that, I'd say try it. But really, what you want the most is dark or holy strike imbued to begin with. My rapier and shortsword experience is both based on having one of those.

Cast imperil on everyone each round very annoying, especially when it miss(or it get resisted?). Although on persistent it misses less often(guess higher Deprecating prof) but still. Maybe situation changes towards higher lvl.

Most of those are player created monsters, before season begin they were just copied from persistent and made owned by "isekai".

1. No. I reforged a Jug5Cap5 robe to get jug5 + element resistance. You can optimize the use of mana elixirs, but that can't save more than a couple of turns
2. I think there were some tests on this, where extremely strong holy mage benefits more from archmage more than spellweaver. And, for Schoolgirl arenas, arch4 is definitely a bit faster. However, the monsters get stronger every day! You'll lose turns by curing. And we have new arenas with stronger monsters. I think spellweaver is a better choice for everything at this moment.

at your level, 2h is very hard. OP5 is mandatory, I'm affraid

The bleed is a chance. The damage should be as always. Keep in mind that it can crit, and as such the damage can fluctuate. Use it without a stun to see how little it actually does without one.
