What is the next Hath perk I should unlock? I am a fire mage and I have already unlocked the following perks:
IA 4
CoD free
10% HP
10% MP
50% regen
Enigma energizer
10% element prof
10% depreciate prof
Crystal 1
DD 1

So what is the next one to be unlocked? Maybe the 25% Exp? 10% SP? DD2? Or other perks? I current have around 1k hath and will earn more.

I'll suggest SupProf/IA5/DD2, but if you want more income, Tokenizer/Crystarium should be better. If you farm GF every day you need Long Gone Before Daylight.

I don't think my current equip set can survive GF and I don't have all crystal perk unlocked so GF may not be a good idea for me at this moment.

IA5 is 50% discount, not 50% more mana.
with IA 1 you pay 90% mana cost for upkeep, with IA 5 you only pay 50% per round
some 1h melee player have IA 5 and only slot 3 (without haste and shadow veil) as the mana cost/turn is still reduced.

Tokenizer won't decrease the chance of Blood Token. It only increase the chance of Chaos Token

Nope, the main effect of FoN is that you use less MP. So i just got it to use less MP with the auto cast spells.

I've finally managed to cobble together enough credits and/or Hath to consider purchasing a star. Assuming anyone still sells them.

Searching in the WTS/WTB forums, I see very little recent information.

Does anyone have anything like a best practice guide to purchasing stars, or some thoughts on reasonable current prices?

I've (just) reached out directly to several people I have some indication have been willing to sell in the past, but I thought I'd cast the net more broadly here.

Thanks Uncle Stu, I appreciate your asking around. I've reached out to all the former star selers I can identify, and those that have responded to me are not selling currently. I've upped my offer to 22.5 Million and even at that price, I haven't had any takers.

I have one lead, who suggests I may have to pay ~25 Million currently. It seems it's a very small pool of sellers currently (possibly exactly one, who is also not generally selling currently). So the price is dictated by the law of supply and demand (and general inflation in HV).

I'm continuing my search, and greatly appreciate any referals or recent price information that might not be easy to find publically.

I actually won a lottery at some point (a single cafinated candy, the absolutely worst prize for me given I never play enough to need stamina boosts), but didn't notice when.

Not actually important, but I'm wondering how long it's been sitting in my inventory, but don't particularly want to click back through the lottery pages searching.

My stratagy with lottery: Every once in a while, when I notice a particuarly low number of tickets is to buy one ticket (generally se;lecting do not want for the main prize), hoping for a golden lottery ticket, or a few chaos tokens.

I think it's pretty similar - the damage is higher in lower rounds, but it's less dangerous at the end (because it doesn't go as far). The monster health scales up faster, which means you can be facing more spirit attacks, but that's more or less immaterial since you would've been taking plenty anyway.

Speaking of which! I made it to floor 50 as 2H today, with an exquisite mace of slaughter. 2H is really, really bad! If you're 1H or even DW, it should be almost trivial... with the right equipment, of course. (I didn't buy anything but I did swap drops with one other person.)

Last season, it became a chore of 1 to 2 hrs.... very hard to keep concentrated, for me. This is still doable at floor 49. I'm playing DW this season, and that is different than last season as 1h. Much more sparks. But sparks don't kill.

For what it's worth, that was only a little slower than my run, except over 1k of my actions are now cures and I use nearly 100 health elixirs and 30ish spirit (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) - plus scrolls often as well.
