Isn't there some kind of mage/hybrid style that uses 1H/Shield and arcanist set? I could swear I've seen it somewhere.

1H-mage uses shield+cloth armor, not arcanist.

arcanist doesn't have any EDB bonus nor Prof bonus, so it's generally not used in 1H-mage.
you may have a try for this set and you shall soon find it's even slower than 1H-melee

There isn't any play style which use Arcanist, but Arcanist's Item World provides the most player Exp.
If you want to gain more Exp. after you finish all Arenas, you may choose Arcanist's Item World for more Exp.

I see. I feel bad now as I bought LOTS of trash Arcanist in the past because they are EXPENSIVE in Bazaar so I thought they are GOOD. Wasted a few million I guess. SMH.

Is there any way to complete arenas faster? They take so much time, especially the latter levels with a lot of mobs and a lot of rounds. Like is there a way to autocomplete or something?

I don't know how people do it, even if I one shot every mob, it's still a long chore.

I think if you're one-shotting mobs at your level you are not playing on the highest difficulty possible for you. HV rewards are not exactly marching in lockstep, but upping the difficulty will at least significantly increase your EXP allowing you to unlock more rewarding arenas etc.

But in general without any awards I do not think you can really reach even lv310 without spending 1000 hours. It's a very long and grindy game, it was called "a cookie clicker" by Tenboro from the start. Most successful players achieve high levels by parallelizing - playing the game while doing something else, usually watching video or listening to something but there are other options.

Is there a way to hide HV Toolbox console in moogle mail when writing new or replying message???
Basically because I'm on phone I feel the console disturbing when I write MM...

switch to HV Utils? Or otherwise, you could just turn it off in the mobile browser while writing MM.

Sadly I couldn't install HV Utils...
I always failed to copy the script, probably due to character limit...

Well, maybe it is just my problem...
I couldn't find a way to move the console on phone, and the default place cover some of the message in MM...

I guess if you were short on persona slots, you'd just use the settings for having individual ability/quickbar setups per equipment set (instead of per persona). Then only the PABs are shared off the top of my head, and that's easy enough - one for 1H (keeping agi low, if you care about that), one for DW/2H/Niten, and one for any mage sets you like.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about PAB sharing. Then the question is - what is the optimal distribution of mage sets personas/ability wise? Dark/Holy persona and 1-2 for elemental ones?

……uha, never mind, seems I wrong understand the Equipment Sets settings, so all mage can actually use one persona without Ability Points problems, as every equipment set can have separate slotted abilities

Never really looked at forums for first 7 years just played on and off (in totally the wrong style).

Trying to sort things out now. Any suggestions please ? currently doing arenas up to 250 on hell/nintendo, tend to get 1 shot on pfudor.

Have unlocked innate arcana 1 and put protection in.



Abilities, better cure, regen, heartseeker, shadow veil, haste, better/faster weaken, guessing next i should aim for better/faster imperil

Well forging would help you, and as long as you are still not able to play on the difficulty you would want to, i suggest to stay away from armor pieces that arent of protection or warding.

I would also suggest to reduce your Int, for 1H it is barely usefull and in your situation not even that. Also less Str and more Dex for the additional parry.

Do you use your chaos token to unluck more monsterlab slots? If not, do it.

I think Sharmy's suggestion pretty much covered everything, so just follow his suggestion will help you a lot. For now try to replace your plate heavy with power set and you will feel big improvement. I have sent you this power set (Magnificent Power Helmet of Protection) for free, please check your MoogleMail. I would appreciate if you return them to me if you don't want those free power set so that I give it to other player who might need it.

30 should be easy just play it for 30 days and your are done, 40 is allready a bit harder and 50 is just a matter of time. You may need some grinding to pull that one off. But it should be easy even if you would just start right now.

The only difference a star is giving you is the ability to attach stuff to a MM, so nothing game changing. They dont get more credits in isekai, they dont get more drops in isekai, they dont get more xp in isekai, they dont get more credits in isekai.

Originally i was using all the tokens on one but now i am opening slots each time i get enough tokens and only putting tokens into gift factor.

I havent increased int for a while now so ill reduce it as you suggest.

I will probably be a melee person forever due to preferred play style in games and cost, as i say i probably have more credits in isekai worth of materials i cant sell than i do in persistent.

i had been going to ask if you would IW10 Legendary Tempestuous Rapier of Balance but since you recommend slaughter would you say Magnificent Demonic Rapier of Slaughter is better in the mean time ?
