Optimal is for end game. Beginners advice should make sure there's path towards optimal, not tell them to achieve it immediately. It's not even possible to hit .78 with Peerless Robe and Willow and level=base prof.

But it shouldn't be on the wiki as though it's absolute knowledge; there is no exact point at which the prof/edb balance becomes 'fine'. It belongs in the realm of player opinions (and we should be putting that kind of thing in the Scripts & Resources section as player-written guides). I'm really sick of correcting misconceptions caused by that damn page, but I'm not removing it until either I replace it, or someone else does.

And yeah, you're right - so that's exactly why beginners should start with robe or pants, since they're still going to need to grow into it, and it's not realistic to expect them to ever reach the optimum with shoes, or gloves, and many won't even reach it with cap. And by the time they get towards those choices being good options for them, they'll generally have more money from all the grinding and it won't be such a big deal to switch.

About Isekai mode:

How do I know if I unlocked Dovahkiin/Godslayer title? I've cleared PF DwD and I don't see the skill (from Dovahkiin) nor any indication about title. Is it hidden? Or is it just Persistent exclusive?

You currently don't unlock titles in isekai

It's currently a bit out of date on some things as I'm holding off on doing a wiki update sweep until it goes live on persistent, but a lot of the differences can be found here

I got this buckler of the battlecaster from Isekai (DEA 65% block), but I got another one (SDA 93% block) as a drop. Which one is better? I'm thinking about selling the second one.

I feel a little silly for having to ask, but I've done my due diligence and still can't figure this out. I've got two pieces equipment, both weapons, that I cant get rid of. Can't sell or salvage, and they're not locked. Although I've also noticed I can't put them in my equipment storage either. I can equip them, upgrade, item world, they're not broken, just can't get rid of em. Any advice on what sorcery has them bound to my person?

Check each equipment set on each persona, you can't sell anything you currently have equipped, thats usually what happens

By default (without training), each persona has 3 equipment sets each

atm I got 72.7 % physical mitigation and 73.7 % magical mitigation...
Tough it still including Boots of Balance instead of Protection from before...

A bit much MM imo.

Iirc PXP depends on the equipment. A Peerl shade of arcanist has more as a Peerl rapier.
For example last armor lottery had power boots of warding with 382 pxp while this Power Boots of Protection only has 381 pxp...

Well just one point difference could also just be a rounding error. But maybe better to wait for the experts for that. I personally never cared that much about PXP.

No, I understand that pxp is tied with how many stats an eq. have...
So Peer shade of arcanist will always have more pxp than other peer armor just because it have 6 PAB...

What I don't understand is why my example before have diff pxp, yes maybe just a little diff...

It make me feels there's an imperfect peerless eq., even though TenB said Peerless is just a perfect Leg...

Finally I finished my first beginner fire mage equip preparation in one month and became a fire mage. Wasted 70m credits and got the following equip set:

Staff
Cap
Robe
Gloves
Pants
Shoes

I know this set is probably very trash from the above average players' point of view and I probably got ripped off during the equip shopping as a noob who know little about mage equips lol. Most of the credits were spent on IW service, forging materials, and soul fragments. The "crude" equips themselves cost less than 10m in total. Since I just started as a beginner mage, I will only do Arena farming at this moment. Any suggestions about improving the equip set? I only have 20m credits left, so cannot buy luxury equips.

Some other questions:

1. As a 1H player before, I used infusion to enchant the weapon before the battle, which boosts the damage per attack a lot. For mage, should I enchant the staff as well? If I should, which one fits fire mage best? The dark, or holy infusions?

2. As a 1H player before, I have 9000+ attack damage on stats. But now as mage, my magic damage is only 4200, way lower than 1H attack damage, even with 4 radiant phase cloth equipped and staff with 90 level of forging while my 1H style only have a rapier 30+ forging and some heavy power of slaughter <20 forging. Is my magic damage too low? How to improve it? (Low staff and cloth prof maybe a reason, but I think there are other problems to be fixed as a decent fire mage.)

Thanks for everyone who helped me in the past a few months, transferring from 1H to mage is an extremely time-consuming work and very tough. Thank you guys.

1. No, AFAIK you don't enchant your staff with infusion just like melee...
Use them as battle infusion like scroll and draught...
And AFAIK only use infusion with the same element as your spell???

2. I think mage use magic score rather than pure mdb like melee...
better wait for the more experienced one for this...

Regarding sellable stuff, I'm trying to clean up all my useless legendaries (I have like 70, and I can't exactly ask if each one is good), so please correct me if I'm wrong.
- Everything "leather" is crap, except *maybe* Reinforced Leather * of Protection (and even then, barely worth the bother)
- * of Warding is only possibly good if it has "power" or "shielding" as well
- Any club/axe not of slaughter is crap
- Outside of shield, anything "* of Deflection" is useless
- Cotton seems great in most cases, so when is it okay to scrap it? When it has no proficiency, and no "phase" in the name?
