As a reference, do you remember how long it took to get to 400 last season? I think I got to 310 in like a month or a month and a half.

I didn't hit 400 last season at all - I was about 390, if I recall, but I stopped doing arenas in the last month (after hitting 2nd FoS) and focused only on Tower. Maybe I could've reached around 400, but the exp curve is really brutal, and you have to remember there are other modifiers we don't have on isekai that we would have on persistent - like double exp from the forum post bonus.

How to evaluate an equip with upgrades? For example, someone is selling a power slaughter equip. If it is in "crude" status (no IW no upgrade at all), the market price is around 10m. Now, if the owner finished the IW with 5 level Juggernaut and all the stats have been upgraded to level 50. Then how do I evaluate its price? How much more should be added on the "crude" price of 10m will give me an reasonable estimation of its price?

Hm, so 5 months for level 390? That doesn't sound so good...

Maybe 400 will be more feasible this season with the shorter tower and eventually bigger exp bonus. Also, there wasn't much of a point to try to get to level 400 last season, but now there's the new arenas.

if you are fair,, you'd value such an item as 10m+forge cost (you can use HV Utils to calculate that). But in practice, such an item will fetch less, mainly because there are fewer players that can afford 10m+forge cost. So let's say 5m + forge costs.

what is the cheapest mage build for level 360 like to clear iwbth difficulty on all arena including dwd guys?
also i heard of 0.7 proficiency? what is that thing? is that proficiancy apply to all elemental and divine/dark mage? thank you

the cheapest mage build for iwbth arena is fire/cold 3+2 mage with all-magnificent gears (price ~500k), ability boost > (enough) should be a must (price ~?), assimilator Lv.5 and penatrator Lv.5 (on staff) are recommended (price ~1m)
the price of mage gears is never the problem, the problem is to find these gears

I probably should have asked this 10 years ago but is there any way to fight a random encounter while fighting in another battle mode (arena, grindfest, etc) before finishing or fleeing that battle mode?

Now if you play on Isekai, you can still also get on Random Encounter in Persistent

Nobody really uses axes, no - some use them as a hobby to see how close it is to other weapons, but as far as I know, they're yet to be proven quite equal to anything else, letalone better. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I've heard for a melee who farm Normal difficulty SG-Arena, DW with Hollowed+Demonic Axe performs well

For 1H-melee, shortsword performs always better because shortsword has parry, which makes more counter-attack.

It seems that kite shield has higher block chance than buckler at the same level, which I think is important for 1H. Another question is that I bought a Legendary Ethereal Axe of the Banshee from the equipment shop yesterday. It has 88% ADB and level 305(my level is 226 and the weapon I'm using now is an exquisite rapier of slaughter). I know it isn't the best but could I use it as a transition equipment instead of a rapier? Since a legendary rapier of slaughter is too expensive for me.

warning: not an expert, but I think the primary reason bucklers are talked about rather than kite shields is because bucklers can have the Barrier suffix (which raises block chance) and kite shields can't, and any extra base block chance in a kite shield won't overcome that.

Attribute style helps little in HV, the main thing is equipments.

When they say "Buckler", usually they mean "Buckler of Barrier", which has higher BLK than Kite Shield.

That sounds pretty bad, a non-Slaughter Legedary Axe should be worse than a Slaughter Exquisite Rapier, or Superior one if in high difficulty (AKA: PFUDOR), for 1H-melee with Level < 300.
