I'm getting wrecked in the tower.

Are the training upgrades, Metabolism and Inspiration, good to have for the monsters? How needed are they? What about Assimilator?

At current prices for Mionster fodder and xtals/pills, Metabolism and Inspiration are a waste of credits imho; the time to pay-off may be years and years (especially if you don't have the full 200 monsters or near that).

Assimilator is a different thing; the higher you level up, the more useful it gets, to help you keep your proficiencies high. But it also becomes very dear quickly.

I'd say 3 or 4 levels of Assimilator are sufficient when you use Melee; higher levels become more importatnt and useful later when/if you want go maging.

Unless you have piles of credits you don't know how to use, of course (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

For the hath perks, I'm gathering for the 2000-2500 requirement for either the Daemon Duality or the second level for the Tokenizer but I'm not sure which one to get first.

Is getting a higher chance of tokens better or an increase in attack damge?

depends on your goals and preferences, really... If you are planning to play HV for a couple of years, then tokenizer will give you good income in the future through your monsterlab. If you just want to clear the arena's faster, DD gives you direct result. If you are serious about HV, then both are good choices that you won't regret.

i notice some people only IW their weapon till 9.
does reaching lvl 10 shift some of your damage to the additional prefix?

if the ethereal one get Holy/Dark strike, these two becomes exactly the same despite interference.

if you keep it at IW9, you can choose 2 stikes per day that you like with the use of infusions. That has no real benefit, but it saves you the gamble for either dark or holy at IW10 if you insist on having both every day. However, one would be better off optimizing for Schoolgirls by creating a dedicated mage set for them.

btw if you wanna use it IW9 + Infusion scheme don't forget that forging gives you PXP so if you get IW9 and then fullforge weapon you'll reach IW10

How does damage mitigation work? The wiki only talks about mitigations for specific damage types but doesn't explain how they work together.

e.g. I have 50% physical damage mitigation and 25% crushing damage mitigation. If an enemy deals 100 crushing damage and it hits, how much damage will I receive?

If physical/magical damage mitigation is able to cover all damage subtypes, then that means I should always go for armors with the protection/warding suffix? Will there ever be cases where I need to go for specific damage subtype mitigations?

100*(1-0.5)*(1-0.25)=37.5 damage (probably rounded up)

I'll personally perfer the balance one, because it's not easy to get Voidseeker in isekai, so PAcc is something valuable in isekai. But I'm not sure since I became mage month ago and knew little about melee build nowadays.

Thank you for the advice, though I will have to politely decline your offer. I prefer to use equipment I get from drops and shrining trophies for the gameplay.

Oh! I'm reading over the Isekai notes from the Release Notes forum, but I'm still a little confused on where Peerless equipment comes in.

Does the Peerless equipment get sent to the Persistent mode at the end of the Isekai season? Or does it get destroyed and it's credit value added to the credits that are saved for the new Isekai season?

As I do not have the Follower of the Snowflake hath perk, is it automatically unlocked for me in Isekai mode like the other hath/training perks that we normally need to purchase in Persistent mode? Or do I need to manually purchase it from my hath perks page?
