QUOTE(Kokoko_777 @ Feb 14 2018, 15:38) Can you explain me, why prefixed weapons are so overestimed (especially dark, holy, etherial ones)? I mean the cost of enchantment is almost nothing in comparison with the cost of some decent weapon, thus the only thing that matters is adb and crit bonuses (for 1H). Am I wrong or maybe miss something?
Well, in the end everyone wants Leg or even Peerl gear. In that tier afaik there dont drop any weapons without prefix, you want that allready fixed elemental strike as good as it can be. And SG, who take quite a bit of damage to die, are quite weak against holy and dark, those are quite usefull for them. Btw also very popular is Cold. And Ethereal weapon are only overrated for 1H, because they dont have any burden, they are quite good for DW. Also iirc in early versions of the game it was only possible to get void damage with a Ethereal weapon. So i guess that is also a reason why some people see them as that good.

I didn't mean endgame legs or pearless gears, my post was mostly about mag/mag+ (with adb rolls of average-tier leg) that can be viable even on 300+ lvls and still can be non-prefixed. And I still dont understand why someone even bother with the type of additional strike since he can easily enchant weapon with any type of strike he wants (against SG, matching spike shield or whatever).

But Mag weapons (what is mag+ (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ) are cheap compare to Leg ones, and you can allready get bad Leg ones for the price of a coffee and the love of god. So it is imo quite easy to cover up the whole cost of the weapon in infusions in just a short time. Money someone could spend better. I mean you have to remember, a single infusion only halts 15 minutes. And when it is gone, it is gone and reducing the damage quite a bit. Also every infusion you use is an infusion you cant sell. And imo it is allready hard enough to get credits as a low lvl player, there is no reason to waste it even more by using something, you could make money with. And also true is most low lvl player dont have the money to train Scavenger to a level that would allow them to preserved the needed pile of infusions to get them running during all the daily battles and that for everyday. So i understand it completly why someone would not be really happy with a weapon without prefix. QUOTE(as013 @ Feb 14 2018, 17:39) Why do people use prof gloves? Nobody use prof shoes like me?
Dont know, do give gloves a better prof bonus? Are they more common with prof bonus and therefore cheaper? This post has been edited by Uncle Stu: Feb 14 2018, 18:41

Mag+ = Top-tier Magnificent (gave explonation in brackets, sorry for misguiding you with this term just dont know any commonly used for it). I can afford bad legendary but it makes no sense, because bad Leg is worse than Top Mag. And I didn't refer specifically to my case, just wondered about situation on the market and I can't agree with you on the point that infusions cost can have any influence because they cost literally nothing. Anyway, thank you for explonation. This post has been edited by Kokoko_777: Feb 14 2018, 19:43

Gloves have 6.68-7.5 prof bonus while shoes have 5.97-6.7. I have a 10 or 15% shoes something and I can still get 0.69 prof factor. So why not use prof shoes and edb gloves for more powaa?

Because using two infusions to have two elemental strikes is twice more expensive than only one.

Because using two infusions to have two elemental strikes takes away your chance to have a nice, bad-ass weapon custom name, which is mandatory in HV.

QUOTE(as013 @ Feb 14 2018, 16:58) So why not use prof shoes and edb gloves for more powaa? I suppose that in the case of the willow ppl some might ┐(︶▽︶)┌ have trouble reaching 0,68? Or maybe there is some ppl that would like a higher prof_factor due to having radiant (☆ω☆) pieces that allow fast killing of mons in non-imperil phase, like when doing a SG arena before reaching the SGs? So their target is higher? Because this would explain why charged caps (fuccing cap!) also gets some nice prices for high prof%. I swear that I saw some cap reaching close to the 20Ms too~ (〜 ̄▽ ̄)〜This post has been edited by reality_marble: Feb 14 2018, 21:31

Go explain that to all the idiots who think that prefixless = worthless. I have some influence on the market, but not enough to correct such popular beliefs.

Well, it seems you're contradicting yourself (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Citing from your WTB shop : QUOTE Superior gear below Lvl175. Melee weapons: only if prefixed and Slaughter/Battlecaster suffix
Exquisite below Lvl200. Melee weapons: all accepted as long as they are prefixed
Exquisite Lvl200-Lvl250. 2H weapons: prefixed and Balance/Slaughter suffix. 1H weapons: prefixed rapiers, shortswords and wakizashis, with Slaughter/Balance/Nimble/Battlecaster suffix (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I wouldn't recommend two infusions for low-level players. On the other end when you can play @PFUDOR the cost is nothing compared to the credits you gain by being faster.

/facepalm
What I buy, sell and auction reflects the market. There is absolutely no correlation with what I think is good and what I think is bad. I'm "only" a modest shopkeepr/auctioneer who obeys the market, not a God who decides what people need and want.

with my current level and element prof + staff with 50% prof I would need a 6,17 base prof piece to reach 0,68 when forged to 50 ヾ( ̄O ̄)ツfor a willow staff I mean this is a <50% shoes though ╮(︶▽︶)╭and this because I have 462 element / 427 level someone whose prof isn't 35 units above his level would be somewhat __φ(◎◎ヘ) in a worse situation and maybe needing gloves instead of shoes This post has been edited by reality_marble: Feb 15 2018, 01:04

But i highly doubt that only two elemental strikes would transform your build from nearly PFUDOR ready to PFUDOR ready. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
