after clear bonuses, it's doing as many arenas as possible. I may be off as from memory, but I believe inc. selling drops you get around 300k a day for all arenas on pfudor
After that, farming fsm to sell his noodly, aiming for doing it every day (usually achievable if you do all arenas)
Selling trophies rather than shrining them, to the FOS'ers
Chaos tokens you get from arenas spend on new monster slots rather than upgrading existing ones, even at low pl some bindings and rare mats are valuable (phazons are usually >300k now)
Those are the "easily" done ones off top of my head, without moving onto grinding territory, like buying crystal perks and doing grindfests

QUOTE(Katajanmarja @ Sep 26 2020, 22:04) Thank you all for your good points.
Another question: Now that I have been able to do the vast majority of Arena and Ring-of-Blood challenges, it has stricken me that there are very few large clear bonuses ahead.
For a casual low-level player who usually does 0–15 Arena challenges plus a number of Random Encounters a day, an Arena first-clear bonus feels very rewarding, for instance: "Now I can finally afford a new battle inventory slot, while most of my daily income is usually spent on ability points!"
Once I have cleared both the toughest Arena and the toughest Ring of Blood, what could bring similar moments of reward?
A few tens of thousand k from arena clear bonus is just like selling one energy drink (85k?) to another player... or a couple precursor artifacts (20k? each). This post has been edited by Fudo Masamune: Sep 26 2020, 16:40

Is there a way to salvage untradeable equipment?

As far as I recall, salvaging it does not differ from salvaging tradeable equipment.
Perhaps you have forgotten to unlock the piece? Before its name you should see a lock symbol. If the lock is surrounded by yellow, click on it once, then try salvaging again.
If this is not the solution you were after, please provide more details.

if it doesn't show on the salvage list check your other equip slot/persona, you need to unequip it from all of your equip slot.

I know how skilled these things can be at evading our eyes when we read the wiki, but remember that next time the answer could be right there! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) EHWiki: The Forge: Salvage QUOTE Locked and equipped items cannot be salvaged.
EHWiki: Bazaar: Equipment Shop QUOTE Clicking on the padlock ([[Image:padlock_open.png]] -> [[Image:padlock_closed.png]]) next to a piece of equipment prevents it from being sold or sent via MoogleMail as well as other restrictions that prevent changes to it.
Back when I was, like, below level 50, it took me some time to realize that items once locked could be unlocked by myself. At first, I thought the lock was permanent for untradeable pieces of equipment. ...Perhaps the padlock deserves a wiki page of its own? This post has been edited by Katajanmarja: Sep 27 2020, 00:27

That helped me too, I kept checking my different sets on my default persona but didn't realize I had old gear on non-default personas.
On another note, I recently kind of transformed my game by getting Innate Arcana 3. Is going to IA 5 worth it? Which spells do you auto-cast?

Hm, i go for a strong maybe. The difference isnt too big. I mean you save a few MP, and maybe a few turns if you actually use them all. But imo there are other perks that should have a higher priority for you as IA 5. I think of it more as nice to have, but sure as sure not as a must have perk.

If you bought all 5, then you don't have to choose as there are only 5 spells available for IA's auto-cast. If you ended up not needing all 5 of them, then you still get the bigger reduction on it's mana cost upkeep from having higher IA level.

I wish to thank Angaver and Fudo for their advice regarding how to make larger amounts of credits after clearing all the arenas for the first time. I am still too curious to see what Snowflake is willing to gift, so it will be a bit before I move on to selling trophies or artifacts. Energy drinks, yes, I just hadn’t tried so far because I hadn’t obtained so very many. *** QUOTE(mundomuñeca @ Sep 26 2020, 13:26) 1st Lower arenas (many don't bother with these, but they are very quick and easy, and useful to farm tokens)
As it is, I actually tend to save the lowest six or so arenas for late evening. Once I feel braindead enough, I do some or all of them in a row. It’s an easy way to let off some steam before bedtime, and the psychological effect of seeing that quick (if not very ample) credit flow is strangely satisfying. As I mentioned, I usually play on Nintendo or lower, but the easiest arenas are what gets me try PFUDOR most often. The feeling when the monsters fight back so hard you end up using thrice the amount of restoratives you expected to... and the end reward is an average plate cuirass! EHWiki: Arena: Rewards states: QUOTE Guaranteed equipment drop upon completing any challenge (quality depends on difficulty and selected challenge).
Has anyone tried to determine the minimum quality data for those drops, difficulty and challenge considered? It appears to me that average is indeed the minimum quality when playing the very easy arenas on PFUDOR. QUOTE(mundomuñeca @ Sep 26 2020, 13:26) However, you can do a partial grindfest. Many do maybe 300-400-500 rounds then flee, instead of trying to complete all the 1000 rounds; you loose the end bonus drop and reward, of course (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) And the reason to do this instead of IW would be... to harvest crystals?

Thanks. As far as I understand, the core of the answer to my question is this part: QUOTE Nintendo and above have 0% chance for Fair/Crude
Nightmare and below have 0% chance for Legendary/Peerless
Arena clears have a very low chance for Legendary even on Normal
Since there is no table about arena clears (similar to the "Trophies" table I knew from before – pretty informative, great job!), I take it that nobody has collected bits of information like, "Sealed Power, when cleared on Hell difficulty, most often gives an X quality reward, and relatively often a Y quality reward." The 'quality points' are not known for most of them, but you can see a few of them in the aforementioned trophies table - like DWD being equivalent to a tier 7 trophy (ie, minimum magnificent).

I just got Daemon Duality I today. Few questions to ask though... -Is it instantly active/applied? Or is it gonna be the same as IA where you need to wait for specific timeframe? -It seems it does not get applied to your character page...so can I assume it only activates when you are battling? -Will 10% get added to my pure base damage or 10% to my all total damage from equipments/stats combined? -Are there any some sort of notification/icon showing up that I'm under the effect of DD? Thanks (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

It is the same as with most if not all perks, they can the active right away, or it can take a while. QUOTE(Zeroneos @ Sep 29 2020, 06:42) -It seems it does not get applied to your character page...so can I assume it only activates when you are battling?
Well what you see in your statistics is the base damage, imo it would be weird if that one would change. QUOTE(Zeroneos @ Sep 29 2020, 06:42) -Will 10% get added to my pure base damage or 10% to my all total damage from equipments/stats combined?
Afaik you get 10% on top. QUOTE(Zeroneos @ Sep 29 2020, 06:42) -Are there any some sort of notification/icon showing up that I'm under the effect of DD?

So I just tried using Flower Vase and Bubble Gum in my grindfests today and it was a immediate notable difference in performance.
Is it ever worth investing in these to make runs more efficient or is that purely a ego boost item that's not sustainable?

If you use it to get through fests quicker, it'll turn up as a loss. It might make it more bearable, but unless you are just going hard grinding prof or something (This would be a very expensive way of going about it though), there's not much point, since it'll only become a loss. But then, it depends on why you play. If you just enjoy playing the game with little care for credits, no harm in it either really
Thats as a mage or light which will get the most use of it.
To heavy players with little to no attack speed, just don't bother lol, it'll be shit

Everyone loves playing with gum/vase, it cuts clear time down to a third or less. On the other hand, it costs about 500-600k per grindfest, and you're only making an average of 200k (if you have maxed crystarium & sell everything you get). Catgirls with many awards may consider it worth it to make prof grinding pretty quick and easy - but for the rest of us, it'd be ridiculously expensive with basically nothing to show for it. Grinding is really, really unrewarding in HV. This post has been edited by lestion: Sep 29 2020, 12:56
