QUOTE(chahahc @ Sep 13 2020, 10:25) Well I'm poor as fugg. What would be the best build to farm credits so as to not be poor lol?
1. Run H@H 2. Do bounties 3. Sell gold stars (and first donate one for yourself, of course) by grinding alone, it's a matter of patience and perseverance. In the end, you'll get there. That does take years, though.

I didnt even know we had such builds in the game. Is "2. do bonties" similiar to niten heavy rainbow mage build? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) QUOTE(chahahc @ Sep 13 2020, 10:25) Well I'm poor as fugg. What would be the best build to farm credits so as to not be poor lol?
Well, personally i would suggest to do a 1H build do be not as poor. Not be poor is a different story, and one btw i myself still dont have mastered. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Eh, the item is gone, but you could buy it back from the bazaar, for a much higher price as you would have been able to sell it. If you -for whatever reason- mean materials and bindings, you will loose 10% of all you used, but catalyst are gone for good.

At low level, almost everything is -usable-, though it might not be sellable. Decon's auctions have a fairly exhaustive list of what items are valuable in various level brackets. In particular any type of force shield, and any rapier of slaughter, can be sold at low level. Otherwise, refer to the following high-level (400+) sellable items: Mage gearCharged/Radiant/Mystic Phase * of * Charged Cotton * of the Elementalist/Heaven-sent/Demon-fiend Fiery/Arctic/Shocking/Tempestuous Redwood/Willow Staff of Destruction Hallowed Oak Staff of Heimdall Demonic Willow Staff of Destruction Hallowed/Demonic Katalox Staff of Destruction 1H gear* Power * of Slaughter Savage Power * of Balance * Rapier of Slaughter (90%+ ADB) * Force Shield of * (80%+ block, must have strength+dexterity+endurance) Other meleeSavage/Agile Shade * of the Shadowdancer/Arcanist Ethereal Club/Katana/Estoc/Longsword/Mace of Slaughter (90%+ ADB) Note that this is not all usable items (shortswords can be used for 1H, wakizashis are useful as both balance and nimble), and there are exceptions to the rule that can occasionally sell (charged curse-weaver shoes if they have great rolls). However, you will find it hard to sell even many of the above items for more than minimum bid these days.

It varies with time but usually Rapier of Slaughter doesn't need any adb requirement in your list. Low adb rapiers of slaughter still sell as long as the level is below 400, and 70%+ adb may sell well at any level with a bit of luck or patience.
The last two ~90% Ethereal Club of Slaughter went for 100k (mine, which has slightly lower adb but better side stats) and 50k. I've seen very, very few clubs of slaughter for sale. Probably a lot of pretty good ones get bazaared.

Yeah, I know, read my post: QUOTE(lestion @ Sep 14 2020, 13:12) ...In particular any type of force shield, and any rapier of slaughter, can be sold at low level...
I guess that was ambiguous. When I say 'any', I mean any dogshit rapier/force shield will sell if the level is low. This post has been edited by lestion: Sep 14 2020, 20:43

Any advice for a returning player? I can't even remember the last time I played, but I do know it's before personas were implemented.

If your equipment is as old as your previous post, it's obsolete and you should probably get some new equipment. All equipment is bound to a level now, so there isn't that much that's available that would be useful to you. You could check decondelite's shop for some start up equipment - he specializes in lower level equipment. On the brighter side, some obsolete equipment (and trophies, artifacts) can be worth a lot to collectors, so you may have a source of quick credits.

Definitely get new equipment, old equipment has significantly worse stat, but you might be able to sell some of them for decent price to collectors mmm... Secondly, check some scripts, HVutils and Monsterbation are super helpful mmm...

Hi Altona, can't say I recognize you but was I really here a decade ago? Maybe 5-6 years at most...
For lvl 500 players, do you guys bother to burn infusions for grindfests? I can see notable improvements with Gum/Vase but I can't tell how much infusions help. Do have a few thousand infusions so it doesn't hurt I guess?

90% rapier of slaughter is still kind of a high requirement. I think 70% can still sell well at level 450+, especially among those players who value side stats a lot (though most such players just value parry as second). A 70%~80% rapier of slaughter can be stronger than a 90% one that is missing a butcher/fatality like mine. They are high forge and endgame worthy in my opinion for some players' wallets.
In comparison, lately power of slaughter has really bottomed out at all adb ranges even 90%+ while high level rapiers have held on even if somewhat more mediocre. Being low level doesn't help power of slaughter either, compared to rapier of slaughter, and this is how it should be (low level players are a bit more suited to protection/warding suffixes).

I use them all the time, but if you play imperil style it's a close call - some players reported that the number of turns for using the infusions is higher than the number of turns saved. Also, if you are already using gum or vase, I don't think you'll notice the extra effect of the infusion.

Mage to boost damage? It help to some extent, moreover if you only have low level DD and mid tier ADB-EDB (like below 4500-350% or something). it's a nice pick for low round gf to substitute gum/vase maybe. This post has been edited by Fudo Masamune: Sep 15 2020, 18:06

So, regarding the lotteries, I am curious if there is an 'average' or 'minimum' amount that most players would invest GP in for a chance to win one of the lottery prizes. While I'd like to get the weapon/armor piece, my main desire would be to get the chaos tokens.
Or is it a simple matter of hoping RNGesus smiles down upon me as one of the winners?
