0 condition? is it reachable? i thought 1 was the minimum...
however, possibly a linear relation with not-nil starting price - aka y = m*x + q rather than a mere y = m*x ?

Perhaps it was 1, i don't recall well 'cause it was a few months ago. I am sure I posted about it asking why someone would play to exaust his equip, i think in the old Ask-the-experts thread, and you yourself (iirc) answered my question. QUOTE however, possibly a linear relation with not-nil starting price - aka y = m*x + q rather than a mere y = m*x ?
It could be, I didn't put much effort in it tbh, and now I don't even have the data I collected anymore, sorry (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Edit: anyway, if someone is interested in what happens below 50% condition, he just have to do a bit of experiments with some throw-away equip (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) This post has been edited by mundomuñeca: Feb 13 2018, 19:31

QUOTE(Scremaz @ Feb 13 2018, 20:47) conditions decrease in a linear way, till reaching 0 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) I know (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) I meant interested in seeing how the buy/sell cost relation vs condition is below 50%, like has the function graph a knee, or is linear with a 0-condition minimum cost like you suggested.

1.69 should be enough to reduce all mitigations to 0 when stacking with imperil.

Thanks for reply when I do some caculation, I am still confused.. from wiki Imperiled -50% Physical Mitigation -50% Magical Mitigation -40% Fire/Cold/Elec/Wind Mitigation Changes effect duration to 10 turns Mitigation reduction = (prof_factor ^ 1.5) * 50 when prof factor=0.69 migitation reduction=28.65 when prof factor=0.8 migitation reduction=35.77 As an ice mage player from monster bations script I can see most of the monsters (giant celest undead diamond) have cold mitigation between 65-78 ... using the formula.. 65*(1-0.4)=39..... And more over can we reduce monster 's specific migitation to less than 0? This post has been edited by chemistamu: Feb 14 2018, 07:30

we can't reduce monster's specific mitigation to less thatn 0. 0.68 is enough for elemental mage. Has been tested countless times.

What makes Savage power armors so desirable? I've looked up and it seems they only have a small addition % of crit bonus, like only an extra 3% respect the regular power armors. 3% percent doesn't seem that much, it's just like one extra level of Fatality potency. It seems even a full set of 5 Savage pieces wouldn't add that much.
Also, why Savage + Slaughter seems to be the most wanted one? Shouldn't Savage + Balance do a better combination?

Yes, it is the crit damage bonus that makes them so desirable. You have to look at it that way, how many level of fatality can you have? The max is 5 and when your damage is high enough, i am talking about endgame damage, you actually want only 4 fatality to get Butcher up to 5. So when you have allready high damage, what would you also want? That this damage is of course increased by a high crit damage bonus. Therefore you want savage. Which is in the end better for a 1H player as some random elemental mitigation. And you want as absolute endgame gear of course Savage + Slaughter, because bonus crit damage + high damage means when you actually do a crit, it really hurts. And i guess you ask about balance because of the increase crit chance, but in the end those crit chance is overall a much smaller additional damage as you get with slaughter. Does this answer your question? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Slaughter suffix increase ADB by 1.4x times. The increase will make even a bigger difference after being forged to a high level. And since there're only limited way to increase your crit damage, crit build with Balance won't out damage Slaughter build. As for Savage, with block/parry, 1h heavy already have enough defensive power, so Savage will give them the needed damage to boost their speed, especially so when you can crit 1hko a SG.

you can still use the background color alert. that won't stop your hovering, but if you pick the right color it'll be hard to miss - and allowed.

Can you explain me, why are prefixed weapons so overestimated (especially dark, holy, etherial ones)? I mean the cost of enchantment is almost nothing in comparison with the cost of some decent weapon, thus the only thing that matters is adb and crit bonuses (for 1H). Am I wrong or maybe miss something?
