What is an EternalBankay? Does it have something to do with Blach anime?

You don't "rate" armor, be it for mage or anything else. You do have the following order, in terms of strongest stats to weakest: robe>pants>cap>gloves>shoes
And then, as mage, choosing what ones will be used for proficiency or for EDB will depend on one's objectives as well as stats. Just don't get stuck to the irrational thought of "I need prof in *that* slot, EDB in *that* slot".

If you do this you will probably end up buying expensive shoes and setting up for 4+1, and then never hitting the prof goal. It can take a while to build up to that. Even with perfect shoes, it still takes ~570 (base) prof at level 500 to hit 0.79. They are theoretical perfect, but what works for you will likely not be shoes, or even gloves, and possibly not even cap.

A beginner elemental mage should strongly consider robe or pants as their prof slot. A beginner dark may want to consider cap and either pants or shoes, for 3+2. A beginner holy mage should consider not playing holy if they don't know exactly what they need and why, and how much it's going to cost...

I just started the day before yesterday on the game, and have gotten to around level 50. So, the ring of blood requires blood tokens, right? And apparently you can get them as loot when you finish a ring of blood fight.

I then went and fought Kanata, but I didn't get any blood tokens as loot. Where can you get these tokens? Thanks.

Blood & chaos tokens are random drops from any monster, and have a high chance from arena clear bonuses.

Ring of Blood fights are not guaranteed drops for them (some are, but the lower level ones are not, anyway).

Blood tokens make up about 20% of token drops for someone with no levels of Tokenizer perks. (Roughly 1 in 350 rounds of Grindfests.) Tokenizer perks increase the chance of chaos tokens dropping, but do not affect the rate at which blood tokens drop.

They seem to give hefty bonuses to 1-handed heavy style with force shield.

At lower level maybe, but at higher level it's mostly just collection, bar maybe one or two people. There's enough defence from power armour already, which also gives you better clear speeds through extra damage.

There's talk about using it in other styles, and mixing matching with slaughters, but all just hypothesis's as far as I'm aware at this point.

You can survive grindfest completely with power armour. It'll get easier the more forge you do, making sure you are using ward/prot pieces, and even levelling will make it easier

The diminishing returns from block chance will generally prohibit it from having very much value as a 1H player (paradoxically). Generally it's better to look for stronger power armors (if necessary), forge your weapon/shield, and forge your armors.

Part of the reason for this is that offense tends to be the best defense in HV - fights that go on longer become more dangerous because of spirit attacks.

Decondelite's auctions and Super's auction discussion thread both have guidelines for what kind of equipment is sellable at auction (Decon's for the lower level market, which will apply for your drops, and Super's for high level equipment).

I would recommend getting power armor, preferably with the suffix "of protection"
The damage bonus and defensive stats from power armor of protection outweighs any benefits a shielding piece of armor can offer.
Ideally when you get a better shield and can handle any damage being dealt, you would ideally want power armors with the "slaughter" suffix to maximize damage. If I'm correct I still think rapier would be the best 1h weapon since it will parry damage that happens to slip through your block which would make you pretty much invincible as a 1h user.
