I had 39.7k HatH for DD VIII saved up with 4 hours until it would click to 40k.
My RNG had went to hell and stayed there for a long while.
Then the PHOH lottery popped up and I lost the 7th PHOH lottery in a row without placing on any of the prizes on any of them.
Then I clicked over FoS with a Tenbora's box and got a staff where it was impossible to get something more mismatched.

The RNG tanking was the main culprit, but with 300 HatH to go, I decided against DD VIII.
I decided to be a poor player.
I've been on a crystal buying spree ever since, buying over 4.5k packs so far.
I still have several thousand HatH left.

If you're a poor player, there isn't much pain involved in losing.
When you have serious cash in the game, the pain is intolerable, and the attitude suffers tremendously.

Being poor is where it's at. The RNG will be what it is.

He will not stop buying trophies, but will reduce prices, perhaps to the previous level (from 2016). This reduction would mean something around 40% in the sum of all types of trophies.
The reason is very simple: he is the only one who is openly buying trophies.

Oh didn't know that. blackjac00 and other trophies buyer are really nice to maintain such economy.
I see no point in getting duplicated soulbound PHKD, PTWD, PDWD etc. with tremendous cost. How many shitty peerless do they need to get(how much millions of credits do they need to spend on buying trophies) before they can collect a complete gear set? Probably it is just an interest for them?

recently I've (painfully) started to care about getting good potencies when running IW for my equipment.
The luck is not by my side and I'm spending a lot of time in IW runs and a lot of money to undo using amnesia shards......

Now I've a weapon that is level 7 and should spend 105k in shards to reset it.
I've read in the wiki that salvaging an item removes potencies an the item is available to be purchased back at 5x the original cost.
I don't know the original cost, but now it is sellable in the bazaar for about 2100c that, according to the wiki, should be about 20% of the purchase cost.
So, if I'm not wrong, if I salvage it I could buy the item back for about 2100x5x5=52500c. This is about half the cost of the 7 amnesia shards....
Someone could please confirm my calculation before I get a nasty surprise?

Just ask someone with the Dark Descent perk (like: https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=189893) to reforge it for you at half the Shard cost, don't bazaar and rebuy your stuff making it untradeable.

It sounds about right. I don't know about the formula, but I did that once. Salvaging and buy back remove the potency for less cost comparing with consuming shards. According to your price it should wroth it, I think....

Mine was already untradable tho. It was soulfused. It would be best to use Dark Descent if it's still tradable.

Indeed I didn't mentioned that the item is already soulfused (I did it to get more pxp each run: it really takes me looong time to get to the end of a run).
I had taken in account the reforge service and discovered the drawback of soulfusing..... so salvaging and buying back became an option.

I'll save hath to get the Dark Descent, but for now I'll try the salvaging method.

I understand about soulfusing for finishing IWs faster, but do the first 4-6 levels without soulfusing at least so you can still make use of others services (like i do) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
But if it's soulfused, yeah, why not salvage an rebuy.
Report back in on the buyback cost, i could be interested in this kind of method too, sometime (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I did salvaging-buying back.....
I don't understand why, but my calculation was wrong! The purchase cost was 106k!
Not a big loss compared to 105K for the shards, but this finding rules out this way of "reforging".
I think that probably the estimate that the original cost equals the selling cost x5 is wrong.
