QUOTE(Renkanalla @ Apr 25 2020, 04:28) wait if i unlock more arena entries from levelling up, don't i get extra credits income? from first clear bonus, trophies, etc which means i get more credits compared to staying on low level/level less as possible
When leveling up, you may get access to more arenas, but then the higher your level, the lower the value of your equipment drops. For instance, once you've reached Lvl500, almost everything is completely worthless, including the vast majority of Legendaries. The other downside of leveling up is monsters getting stronger and tankier, thus requiring you higher and higher quality equipment, which requires a lot of credits. I've managed to earn millions and millions of credits myself from selling equipment, by slowing down. If I leveled up fast, these equipment wouldn't have brought me a dime, and I wouldn't have been able to focus on my training either. Another thing, and I'm talking out of years of observation. The vast majority of power levelers imagine that reaching Lvl500 will solve all their money problems, that they'll get access to everything for relatively cheap, that their pockets will be full of credits ,or God knows what else. It's utterly wrong. They're only assuming things from watching the big guys who have either farmed the shit out of the game / spent years in it / spent a shitload of RL money. The power levelers usually end up around Lvl420/450 with a moderate amount of RL money spent in it (mostly to purchase the gold star), garbage trainings, mediocre to barely decent and mildly forged equipment, completely unable to tackle on harder challenges. And more importantly, they end up burned up and a game that barely spitted out anything for them. And then they disappear/ragequit. Long story short: high level making one rich is only a delusion. One gets rich by either farming the game (+planning properly, without being impatient), or by sinking more RL money than one can initially imagine. Leveling up should be the consequence of one's efforts, not the mean. Same goes for Legendary/Peerless equipment: it's the mean, not the goal. Apparently unpopular opinion: when you're staying at low level deliberately, you'll also have a significantly harder time getting access to gear upgrades (until 400 when you can soulfuse anything).
If you're trying to play mage, you will also find the lack of endurance PABs make survival difficult at lower levels, as well as the way defensive %-based stats scale up in your favour.
I'm not saying Decon is wrong - he's absolutely right that high level doesn't really confer any particular gains in credits, and if anything, slows you down in-game also.
But it does have a few benefits.
To that end... just level naturally. Don't go out of your way to make it faster, but there's no need to take special measures to slow it down either.

Which is still a point you have to spend a shit-tone of fragments to use most equipment.

Eh, if you've been doing your REs properly, by the time you hit 400 you'll have more than enough spare (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

All i wanted to say is, that it is still far from the point you really stopd caring about fragments at all. Like i did when i reached 500.l

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I thought exactly the same as Decondelite mentioned in his post above, that by leveling up I would be able to earn more credits and it is not true (The Reality HIT ME, and VERY HARD). (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) But the real reason why I wanted to get to level 400 so soon was that I wanted to beat a translator friend who I have here in the galleries in moderation points, and I could never do it, until today we are even 19 to 19 points of moderation. At least he can't treat me less anymore, because I'm his equal. This post has been edited by Arkoniusx: Apr 25 2020, 10:47

Well, one can. But I'd say that going so far as to not post on the forums at all, for the sake of avoiding that x2 bonus for posting, is outright overkill. That's the only thing I haven't done myself: there is a limit to what's reasonable.

Exactly, it seems to me quite exaggerated, that the game was not created in a certain way so that we could be a community and live together and at least agree on something? By doing so, you are sending one of the game's priorities to the trash.

Don't worry about it and just play the game (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) There's really no need to take level so seriously; there are very few players who have successfully gamed it for good income and, to my knowledge, the only one that's actually committed to it long-term was also making extensive use of bubble-gum & flower-vases, and the income to support that doesn't really add up unless he also had another source (like star sales). Staying low-level is a good way to get maybe an extra 100-300k every couple weeks out of a passable legendary drop, provided you can find another low-level to sell it to. That's the amount of money and the time-scales we're talking about. It's not a secret key to being rich, and levelling isn't something you need to avoid like the plague. But there's also very little reason to fuss about levelling quickly, either.

I understand the disadvantages of leveling too fast, but I'm not the type who quits. I'm happy with what I have now and if I wanna do it properly I'll do a blank persona later. I just defeated a random encounter on phudor. 800k xp. Opposed to the 20k I was getting per fight a day ago. edit: I guess personas dont start over, oh well, it's fine (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by AtotehZ: Apr 25 2020, 12:49

Recently, I've been using a script to go directly to alt.hentaiverse But sometimes, I still end up on regular hentaiverse through random encounter. I checked the code of the page, and it seems all url had been converted properly.
Question: is there some redirection mechanism on alt HV that sometimes redirect to regular HV that you would have observed too?

Yes. You must hit the regular page once, i consider it annoying too.

I dont think a little off-topic does hurts this topic as long it happens as part of a on going conversation. But Arkoniusx your post comes out of nowhere with absolutly no connection to any previous post. So except there is a question inside i am not able to see, i must ask you to please keep post like that in the Hentaiverse chat. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

QUOTE(Arkoniusx @ Apr 26 2020, 10:09) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) At the end of the day I no longer give a damn for the RE, for the same reason and because I have not These equipments will return to me in a few days because they were not sold, I plan to take a risk and complete the IW at level 10 for each of them; What would be the correct combination for each of them?[One12] Legendary Ethereal Wakizashi of Balance (267, IW 3, ADB 39%) (seller: Arkoniusx) [Lig07] Legendary Jade Shade Leggings of the Fleet (399, ADB 80%) (seller: Arkoniusx) [Lig09] Legendary Zircon Shade Helmet of the Fleet (381, ADB 69%) (seller: Arkoniusx) quote myself, what is in bold is the question I asked, what is above refers to the Randons Encounters, which I no longer do due to lack of time.

Oh, missed that. Well if you want to make IW for them so you would be able to sell them, that wont work. You would just waste shards and your time. For the IW you want, armor is jugg5 and whatever, just like anything else. And the waki would depend on what you want to use it for. I mean i even have seen people use waki for 1H and that would need another IW as the IW for DW or Niten.

The wakizashi currently has a Fatality - Butcher combination, would it sell well with that combination?

It is a 39% waki of balance with low crit, low parry and overall low stats. So no, it wont. When people dont want to buy something without IW, they wont buy it with IW.
