what is the most beneficial way of farming for me at the moment? for instance i need 11-12 min to finish eternal darkness at nintendo but there is so few monsters per round comparable to challenges like to kill a god where is 5 monsters already at round 1 so i began to think that eternal darkness and end of day are waste item rolls and energy conservation wise. am i right? should i use spare energy to grindfest or maybe i should ignore the arena and just grindfest all along?

no, wrong, last 3 arenas are most profitable don't do grindfest, just clear all arenas daily on highest possible difficult

Well that depends. But i would say the most you would get out of doing the SG arenas after that the rest of the arenas and of course dont forget about the RE. And doing RoB also doesnt hurt. If you are able to to all that and still have some time left, you could do some IW of superior or Exq items, or maybe even of Mag if you are strong enough for that and have some of those lying around. But grindfest is good when you are able to clear it and at the same time have allready at least the crys III perk and some scavenger training. Otherhwise you would imo just waste your stamina buy starting a GF you have to spend 1 stamina for but you are not able to get the most of it and probably not able to finish all 1000 rounds. Also you do the SG arenas mostly for the trophies. Trophies you can sell. Believe me there is enough demand for those.

What are you trying to farm, exp, or credits? Assuming it's credits, 11m isn't the end of the world, when you get to dwd, expect it to be considerably longer than that as melee. It's still a decent credit income. Honestly, even for exp, arena's should come first afaik, though someone may correct me on that. Edit: Looks like a bunch of us answered at the same time. Just to add to this, I've checked, and arenas should come first. Reason being: Arenas have between 1 and 3 times the exp bonus, don't cost stamina to enter, and don't have a credit reduction. They also have a guaranteed equip drop at the end, plus a chance at a chaos/blood token, both of which can add to your income (more monster slutsslots/farming spaghetti monster). Later rounds also have trophies, and plenty of fosers buying them up, so even better for income. Grindfests have 1 times stamina bonus, but 1/4 the credits. IW exp varies, but even a good IW item is still less than 1.3, though you don't have a stamina loss on entering (making it arguably better than grindfest for exp?) though if you die, you lose the full stamina of what it would take to complete it, it also has the credit reduction though. ROB's at your level, unless you're able to get enough tokens every day, just do spaghetti monster (after having done them all once) RE's you should be doing anyway This post has been edited by Ubershank: Mar 30 2020, 15:16

trophies from arena are scum i shrined a considerable amount of these and never got anything good they also very cheap so i don't think it's even worth bothering to sell them 700c per unit

Unless you fos (Follower of Snowflake Hath Perk), I really wouldn't shrine them. They add up to a considerable amount if you sell them, I remember someone quoting 60-70k a day (for all arenas, inc. dwd when you are able to do that), though that's off memory so I may be off. If it's effort, just throw them on the HV Market, then you can just forget about them, and at some point you'll find credits in your moogle. This post has been edited by Ubershank: Mar 30 2020, 15:01

Selling the trophies to other players will still net you more than bazaaring/shrining them.

QUOTE(Ea-Moon @ Mar 30 2020, 13:50) Some math work here. I'm at Assimilator 12. To go from Assimilator 12 to 13 would be about 1.7m credits and would be about a 4.5% improvement (220% to 230%). I have Thinking Cap and full training, which I think is supposed to give me 425% exp gain. If I get Mentats Hath Perk, which would be about 1.8m credits at current hath rates, that would be about 5.8% increase in prof gain since its based off experience gain (425% to 450%). Just checking, is my math rate or am I overlooking something in how these systems work? Otherwise, it would seem Mentats is currently much better for value now.
Assimilator does not give exp bonus, just the proficiency bonus. Can't compare them, really. I went for first max exp, then max prof. The faster you're at 500, the easier it is to benefit from assimilator. On the other hand, you'll need assimilator as well, in the end. So.... you decide for yourself.

Play more, play higher difficulty, train Adept Learner, get XP Hath Perks. Those are the possibilities you have. You know that you will need more XP the higher your level is? 2 Levels a day i good. It is something you can later on only dream of.

Shrine rate is abysmal, especially for those low tier trophies. I would post my own logs (with ~220m shrine value total) but sssss2's results are an even better demonstration of this: check them here. They don't feel like much when you're only getting a few small ones from the end-round minibosses, but the schoolgirl trophies from the final 3 arenas add up to a pretty decent amount of income per day for an average player. For reference, shrining them nets about 30% of the average credit value you'd get from just selling them to other players. They are a lot more valuable to players with the Follower of Snowflake perk (where every 10m shrine value generates a randomized peerless item).

It was me (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ! All daily arena trophies sell for 78k average by WTB prices. WTS sellers ask for more.

You do know about random encounters, right? QUOTE(lestion @ Mar 30 2020, 23:16) Shrine rate is abysmal, especially for those low tier trophies. Okay you managed to convince me, just sent 200k+ worth of trophies to mouisaac.

I have a peerless waki of nimble and thinking about pairing it with a good katana to use niten, is it a good idea, or should I just stick with rapier/shield/waki?
TIA

Does Daemon Duality's boost show up as an increase in damage on the stat screen, or not?

Never really tried HV till recently. I've read through the first page of this topic and poked around the wiki a bit, but I still feel utterly lost. Are there more hand-holdy writeups on progression? Currently I'm just throwing myself at Nintendo difficulty random encounters with average plate & rapier/shield from the Bazaar/drops, which seems to be going fine, but I have no idea how to approach things when that starts failing me.
Also, since I've never touched HV but got the gold star a while back for non-HV hath perks, I'm sitting on ~1.1m credits I have no idea what to use on as a new player.

Niten is usable with waki nimble but it won't be as comfortable as 1H.

I see some players buying Unassigned fair weapons with certain pxp levels, is there a reason for doing this?

not that I know, no. It can be that they are obsoletes, some players collect them. I have a collection of special EID equips (see my sig).
