503s are gateway errors - there are all sorts of things that could cause this, my guess is that one of the Cloudflare nodes you were passing through died temporarily. (Not an expert on the subject by any means - someone with actual networking knowledge could give you a better diagnosis.)

If this happens in future, try alt.hentaiverse.org temporarily - it is a http mirror that doesn't pass through Cloudflare (as far as I know), and should be used only if connectivity is bad on the regular route for you.

Note - this is a different domain so switching in battle may do weird things with your scripts (particularly to monsterbation's logging functions and HVUtils RE timer).

This, but also keybinds and other settings are seperate between the two domains, as I've found out the hard way in the past (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

....I was using alt, since regular was congested. I don't think I did 24 rounds without knowing it. Guess servers are full 3 hours after reset.

I recently reforged my Jug5Cap5 robe, just to get rid of the cap5. I had used it for a long time, and it does nothing for me. On the other hand, the elemental mitigation is actually a bit useful in PFFEST.

Capacitor can be used to maximize the effect of elixirs. But that effect is limited, and using elixirs is more expensive than using draughts + potions. I didn't like it a bit. Okay it may save a couple of turns, but the mitigation is more valuable as it helps to survive.

Yeah. I was wondering about it since when I was last really looking at potencies a few years ago, maxing out Capacitor seemed to be all the rage. It's pretty rare for me to use Magic Elixirs in Grindfest, so I may as well ignore Capacitor and lean more towards mitigation potencies.

I'm starting to get back to playing HV, any tips on what scripts i should be using? I had one a script that allowed me to just auto click the monsters when i have my cursor pointed at it which saved me a lot of time grinding.

Monsterbation, located in script area, and yes, it is a very good drop. Lock it and keep it, unless you need funds immediately or plan to go mage. Don't bind unless you plan to stay dual wield.

Depending on the price you get for that, you might be a lot better selling that and getting 6-7 pieces of really good equipment instead of 1 extremely good weapon. That's probably a perfect weapon for somebody who does DW Rapier-Slaughter/Waki-Nimble

It's close.

Due to holy/dark imperil being weaker than regular, elemental prefixes are preferable on wakizashi nimble for fest purposes.

And for arena, club/rapier balance performs better. Niten players will use a balance wakizashi for arenas, too.

Hallowed still attracts buyers more than other types, though, so you will probably find it sells well regardless. But waki nimble is not conventionally especially desirable to begin with (mostly because very few if any DW/Niten players are festing).

Such a script wouldn't be allowed afaik. Best you can get, is monsterbation can pause hovering when you get low, so you know to use one youself. But scripts aren't allowed to make decisions for you

Monsterbation script is the closest you can get without risking a ban. It will stop the hover-attack when hp/mp hits a certain level, and it will indicate with a color what is wrong

Of course you can, but i doubt you actually will get more a people are are willing to pay for them allready. So when you want to make your trophies to credits, just sell them. You will easy get a fair price. And i cant see a single reason why you should get for when you auction them.

Yes but please don't in these kind of quantities, the auction is already flooded with materials and there is a waitlist for equipment.

Use HVMarket instead or send them directly to people looking for them in WTB.

The hover attack in monsterbation is allowed to be paused after spark of life is triggered, however this is an exception and any other mechanism being paused (including keypresses or manual clicks) is expressly forbidden, under the clause that it is processing live data in order to make a decision on the player's behalf.

I'm currently using dual wield with rapier and waki.

Below level 300, all melee styles are equally approachable, though 2H with light armor in particular excels. Around the mid level 200s, it is conventional to begin switching to 1H with heavy armor. Mage becomes the fastest by enormous amounts when you have the resources to heavily forge good quality equipment.

The most economic activities are: doing as many random encounters as possible, doing all your arenas (particularly the high level ones that drop trophies, as these are easily sellable to bolster income considerably) and then and only then considering grinding either item world or grindfest.

Item world is considerably easier to finish than grindfest, and the drops are equivalent besides a small crystal modifier in late fest. This is not a considerable change to your income unless you have high levels of the Crystarium perk.

When you have low drop training (especially archaeologist) it is also worth considering that you will not likely recoup the stamina cost of playing many more rounds, and it can often be more economical to simply sell energy drinks (or the precursor artifacts they come from) until you're trained better. (Somewhere around ~30 scavenger and archaeologist~6 is reasonable.)

For what it's worth, I played dual wield exclusively up til level 450. It is a good style for low levels. Main hand club of slaughter with off hand rapier of balance excels for arenas, and main hand rapier of slaughter with off hand wakizashi of the nimble is ideal for item world / grindfest (the parry saves you a ton of time spent healing otherwise). You should use featherweight charms on non-ethereal weapons to keep your evade and attack speed high.
