I'm happy with my sssss2 (my only pl~400 I think).
The rest are only Pl25~50. I never thought too much about Monlab just did that at random because cost became a bit too high to up many mobs. Should I keep at that them?

Fine to keep them as they are. Or only feed crystals when the morale is too low

personally i still stick with the "PL50 monsters for 3day gifts only" philosophy. if any, i may start to make some PL25 ones to see if they are really better.

I'd keep an army of PL250 if I were you. This is the limit to keep on feeding with chow while minimizing the usage of happy pills. They even bring in Mid-Grades.
You can even upgrade their Gift Factor a lit a bit if you have excess tokens!

I feel like I'm terrible at this game despite being at level 283.

My equipment is:

Superior Mace of Slaughter
Superior Plate Helmet of Warding
Magnificent Zircon Power Armor of Protection
Legendary Onyx Plate Gauntlets of Stoneskin
Magnificent Plate Greaves of Protection
Magnificent Plate Sabatons of Stoneskin

And I only have 43,318 credits.

Can someone help me out and tell me what I need to do to improve?

Can you use the flower vase and bubblegum at the same time? Grinding for last token of blood for final ring of blood challenge and I wanna go overkill for it.

Yes, you can. But unless you have a very high clear speed, aka high end mage, i wouldnt suggest of using them, because they dont last that long.

2H doesn't work well with heavy armor. It may be easier trying 1H/shield.
Other than that, get a better helmet and gradually transition from plate to power armor.

Also, you could get some free credits from Sweetness Overload if you haven't already.

At your level, the game is getting quite hard. But, advice depends on what you want to achieve and how you want to play.
Easiest route: switch to 1h heavy. 2h route: replace heavy armors with light armors. And get a better weapon.
For 1h, power of protection and warding is best choice for now. And get a better weapon.

To get more credits: see if you can sell some items. Not in bazaar, mind you! In the WTB section. Trophies are easy to sell. Do FSM RoB every day if you can, to get a noodly appendage - those are 33k each.

Doing RE + arena's every day will give you solid income.

Just like the others said. Plus, check the Free Shop and other shops for a better weapon (change weapon is the priority).

There is also Decondelite auction, but with less then 50k I doubt you can get something there. He also has a shop with slightly less good but much more cheap items, and they may still be better then what you have anyway.

In bazaar at your level there are often quite good Magnificent for less then 10k.

Above all, read the wiki and be sure to study how everything works. The more you'll know, the less the risk to waste credits in useless items.

Also, check WTB/WTS often to familiarize with market prices of things, so that you can eventually sell items you drop at right price without being scammed. One such drop of value is e.g. Precursor Artifact, or Bubble Gums or Flower Vase, and the trophies.

Do you have any idea how rare token drops are compared to crystal drops? I mean even when lets pretend, really just pretend, you would loose for every additional token drop a crystal, would that really be something that should prevent you from getting tokenizer? No, in absolutly no way. One token is worth more as even a Crys V crystal drop in late PFest. And about how many token drops are we talking? Well with token III we are talking about between 10 and 30 tokens for a whole fest. So even when those 30 tokens -which would be allready prettyreally lucky- would all just come after round 500, we are just talking about 1500 crystals with crys V. So when we look at 21k for a CP that makes 1.75 credits per crystal so even in the absolute worst case you would just loose 2625 credits. Yeah no, so even when, and i say when, because i havent seen anything that would actually convince me of it been true, more tokens would lead to less crystal drops, you would still get much more as you even potential could loose. Or would you actually prefer 2625 credits to token? And those 2625 credits would only be true if we ignore the fact even without any tokenizer you allready drop tokens and those 30 tokens mean blood and chaos together and tokenizer doesnt care about blood tokens, and of course all loose crystals been with crys V at the last half of a PFest, so with less crys and outside of a fest that would even be lower. So yeah, a bunch of chaos tokens are a worth a lot more as you could even potential loose even if you would loose crystals to tokens.

I'd love to salvage my main staff to get 90% items back to update my other staff but does not appear in salvage. Isn't locked nor equipped. It's a bug? archeologist is most reliable steady income. Cryst only if you plan to grind a lot. Quartermaster - very very slim chance on a good piece of equipment.
