I found hentaiverse (and forums) thanks to the apocalypse, to earn money to download for backup so I didn't know gp price prior to that point.

iirc gp was 600, then fell to 400, sometimes rose back to 500. But from then it just declines slowly.

When gp dropped to 370, I thought it's a great time to buy and expected it will rise back to 400 like it usually does.
But now its price is as low as 320 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) .

Don't know what caused the chain reaction.

Ehm, but you need the 13 to get above 750. With 12+18 you just reach 742 iirc.

if you read the guides in the first page of this thread, it's generally assumed for past few years that trade ratio for credits to gp is 1:3 so it is generally around 333-ish/k.
the apocalypse was the one which bump the price nearing 1:1 and hath price fall from 4k to low 2k. the current price is somewhat returned to how it was before.

If gp will be stagnant around 250 or 333 then it's a real bad idea to invest in it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif).

you could try to speculate that the GP price will go to upper 300 when there is some big lottery on HV, but to be honest even if it did I doubt you'll make a lot from there.

I'm still a little confused on how the Lottery system works when purchasing tickets. Is there a limit on how many tickets I am able to purchase?

I know that more tickets doesn't necessarily guarantee winning the weapon/armor piece, but does it help when compared to buying only 1 ticket?

Well lets compare. With 2 tickets your chance of winning something is double as high as if you just have one ticket.

if there are 2 tickets in the pool and you have 1 ticket, you'll have 50% chance winning, when you bought another one it's 3 tickets in the pool with you having 2 tickets, that's 66% chance winning. it might not "double" but yeah of course it increase the chance...

on the max ticket bought, adding to what uncle stu said, there's option to use golden lottery ticket which effect is buying 100 normal tickets and double the count of your ticket on the draw (up to 10% of the total pool)
technically this could turn your max bought ticket of 20.000 to effectively 40.000 tickets in time of drawing but only if there are 400.000 or more tickets on the pool by the drawing time (from buying and quite possibly others golden lottery ticket count too?).

It only makes sense if it's 10% of bought ones and not the golden lottery tickets, or you'll reach 40,000 every time (assuming you put in 20,000) due to the 10% increasing each others infinitely.
