Sure, I could have a long list of things to talk about. I mentioned this before, but I guess wall of text.

Why is Hallowed considered to be on par of Demonic (at least, regarding prices it looks like it), when both are the same against SGs, but then Hallowed isn't as good vs normal monsters?

I've checked that monster table decondelite posted in the 1H research thread and at least, from the highest leveled monsters, only one had lower Holy resistance vs quite a bunch that were "weak" to Dark.

The lower PL you go with monsters (gave the list a glance, but my eyes were already sleepy from hours in front of a computer), the more equal spread the resistances, but my feeling was that Demonic is better than Hallowed by far , and then, found out that Cold is also a pretty serviceable element.

I saw this Average list from 700 to 2000 or so PL on that thread, but well, I think that the distribution gets different depending on the PL.
More things next, but let's go one by one.

Breached Defense, dude. it is not as strong as imperil, but the effect is a bit similar. Monsters die faster! Doesn't matter what type they are. But dont get me wrong dark mage is also very nice. Just not as awesome as holy mage.

For melee, yeah perhaps demonuc could be equal or better than hallowed on a shortsword ( don't wanna mention the r. )

Mages are a completely different thing also because a Holy and a Dark mage won't use the same type of staff (Oak Staff vs Willow), so their damage makeup is different too.

And yes, I mean all melee weapons in general, not only Shortswords. Or are Rapiers different in that regard?

Still, my point is that you see people killing each other with glee as soon as a Hallowed or Demonic Rapier of Slaughter appears in an auction, in the same measure.

Maybe it's the "holy bias" that makes it "the best element" in most RPG games as Demons and Undead tend to be the high level monsters?


And Arkoniusx, no. There isn't any Peerless piece of gear that lacks Prefix or Suffix. Same for Legendary grade.

speaking of melee weapons, my personal impression is because of FSM being "weak" to holy. not that it matters much, since when you'll be able to do it reliably you'll still have access to a ethereal/void strike weapon which is comparable, but well... rumors, probably.
either way, yep - holy and dark strike (however earned) are on tier when doing SG marathons

no. as ahlroun quoted, past a certain quality all equipments are granted a prefix and suffix

I would say holy and demonic are seen as best for weapons is because they mage the SG arenas faster/easier and they are the longest. Save time on the long road. But maybe it is just the same reason as why people pay so much etheral weapons and only because they think it is good.

Yeah it's the same for all 1h weapons. Demonic should perform equally well as hallowed for SG. Only konata seems to be stronger against demonic, but she's not that tanky anyway. Thing about expensive items, they work well for showing off. A big e-penis if you will. Perhaps that's why the general population likes holy more than demonic, because they are generally more expensive?

Most of these are strictly meant as compensation for those who greatly contribute to the site for the duration of a year; they are NOT incentives for those purely seeking HentaiVerse or other rewards.

Don't bother chasing them for HV reward. Take part in the site as a whole for its betterment if you honestly want to put the work into helping the place run smoothly (tagging, for example), but expect it to be a very long and unrewarding grind.

Easiest way is to donate enough to get a GoldStar. It automatically gives you a bunch of confectionaries (and other useful advantages too, like reduced drains in monster lab, GP & Credits each Dawn, Haths).

GOOD Leg at your (or mine) level are fairly rare; besides they cost more then comparable items at higher levels (say above 450).

By "good", you must mean not just the stats but also them being those most useful and therefore more sought out.

Plain normal Leg are relatively available above l.300, for instance Plain Leather or Plain Heavy, or Clubs/Axes etc.

You should try to open a WTB with your requests, you'll see. Waiting to see if exactly what you want will come up in shops/auctions or Bazaar would probably require too much time.
