As protection has very long uptime, you don't need 5. 4 is enough. In area's, 1 protection is enough for 100 rounds. In PFfests, you will be using scrolls anyway. Never missed 5. 4 is perfect for mages

Which one I should go first? And how far I should buy innate arcana? Has it to be 5?
VV first, then pop out a couple of DDs. The innate arcana is a debate area. Some seem to like staying at 4. If you're rolling around in enough HatH, IA5 proves to be very convenient. I've never regretted IA5.

No. We don't have time to finish updating the formulas for now.

I'm planning to reach IA-3, 1 is spirit, 2 will be protect, and 3, should I go with haste or shadow veil?

What do you play? I remember readin something about a rapier and shield, so 1H? If that is the case, well i play 1H and my IA 3 is blank. But most experts would suggest SoL.

Putting Protect in a IA slot is a waste, imho. As already said, it's the one who costs less mana and last longer. I would put SoL instead, especially in a non-1H build. But also in 1H if playing at hi difficulty. My choice for IA3 is Shadow Veil for DW & Niten with leather. So SS, SV, SoL (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) If you have IA4 then also Haste (useful mainly for mages, I've been told). When you go in Settings page to fill IA slots, do it one at a time and look at the Upkeep cost below, that's the important thing in using IA i.e. how much it helps in saving mana. Just my 2 cents (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Yes, I play 1H+power, so IA 2 is enough for me I guess, then I can buy VV or reach daemon 1 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . Using SoL is a bit risky for me because there times when I misslooked my stats (cloak of the fallen appeared) and I kept attacking and dead... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (when I didn't use any script, I'm using script right now) so I use SoL in RE only... If you have the tickets, and the quantity of bought tickets is below ~80k, you can "buy" a lottery placement. I've done it a few times. Especially going for tokens, etc., and using the "do not want" clikathon. For a peerless rapier, it's guaranteed to be over 100k tickets, so even with using a GLT and 19.9k, you can't guarantee the weapon. Since there are more than 5 people involved, you can't even guarantee one of the other prizes. But some useless Lottery with total of some 19k tickets bought. Then the guarantee of placing usually works. Just make sure you have about half the tickets. Back to the peerless rapier. You can't buy the guarantee.

Man, trying to slowly chip away at a mage set is even more expensive than I thought, for a reason I never considered. I can pick up cheap gear that's not super great at auction, but then I would still have to soulfuse it. So I need to buy pieces that are at least pretty good for my soul fragments budget, but then competition gets more fierce for the pieces themselves. I'd like to avoid an additional 1 mil+ credits on each piece that I buy to get the fragments (assuming that the majority of good pieces for auction trend towards higher level, which is mostly true.) I'm not really sure how I should attack this problem...maybe I'll just knock out other requirements first like IA4 and EE. I do have a couple million floating around in credits and easily convertible items. Maybe I'll just say fuck it and go for a Niten build instead...leather is cheaper to forge, yeah? For me, DW is fastest on SGs; whereas 1H is fastest on IW

Even if you can afford some good mage stuff, you can't clear a PFest as safely compared to a 1H build. Maging a PFest requires extreme forging and using a lot of scrolls. On the other hand, 1H Protection (rapier shield fully forged) with around 10 forges each on armors can somewhat allow you to leisurely clear a PFest, albeit a lot longer compared to maging (20k vs. 5k turns). Also 1H forging is a lot cheaper than mage forging. For the same amount of credits, you can buy 400 HGC, or 10k HGM, which is more than enough to fully forged your armors. I don't know about other styles, but I doubt any can make you survive as long as 1H Protection. So throw in some money for a 1H build if you want to clear a PFest.
