I have used the freeshop, mostly for supplies so far. But the times I did look though it for a wep, was unable to find one in the lvl range I was at. I'll put a bit more effort into that, and start looking at armor as well.

it was mentioned that my evasion was pretty low, how can i increase that. When i battle, I use feathweight charm's to bring my burden down to around 19 giving me about 21% evade. Wouldn't using heavy armor make that even worse?
Additionally, is evasion even good for block/counters. I'm not sure on the order block/evade/parry is rolled or if it even works that way, but it seems the higher my evade, the less i counter overall. but, that just might be me.

IW10?

That just means to level it up in Item World to level 10, which is the maximum.

How do I use a script? Specifically, I'm trying to use the Live Percentile Ranges script. I downloaded Tampermonkey, and created a new userscript where I copy and pasted the code in the wiki, but that isn't getting it to work, and the Tampermonkey button is saying "No script is running." In case it's relevant, I'm using Chrome.

Same thing here. However all my other scripts work like monsterbation and smartsearch. Just live percentile seems to be doa for me.

btw. instead of copy/pasting all that text. just copy the url, and click on the utility's tab of Tampermonkey in its dashboard and import from url. Less chance of error, and it will auto update (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Hitting IW10 i.e. reaching MAX will give any weapon an extra Void Damage attack. It multiplies with a elemental attack. Meaning a single sword attack will add either Physical, Elemental, or Void damage to any 3 targets.

If the weapon is Ethereal (Void), then MAXing a weapon in IW will add a random magical attack to it.

You shouldnt. You really shouldnt increase your evade and i was just surprised that your evade was so low, with a light armor set, that is all. Sorry if that did confuse you. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

Yeah, that is really something you should not do while playing 1H. When you want a playstyle with high evade and such, you should play DW, but as 1H you dont want hight evade, because when it comes to the rolls for damage avoidance, evade allways comes first, so high evade is equal to lower block and lower parry and that is equal to less counter attacks, reducing your damage output, reducing your overcharge gain, reducing the number of stunned monster. High evade is just in no way good while playing 1H. It really isnt.

That was just a personal preference, the difference is in the end not that big. I mean i have 20 more Dex as Str and it works fine for me, but even the other way around with 20 more Str as Dex, i wouldnt see you die all the time because of that. So, nothing really important.

Not sure what you mean by speed doesnt kill. But as 1H you also dont really want speed. Just like high evade it just reduces your block and parry and by that of course again your counter attacks.

Peerl? No, i would say you should IW your weapon when you plan to keep it for longer and dont have plan to replace it anytime soon. And that could even allready be a Mag, I mean my first IWed weapon was a 60% Mag Tempestuous of Slaughter and it was worth it. I dont even have a peerl rapier today, okay my rapier is "peerlish" and is actually allready the thrid weapon i did IW. I never did regreat to IW any of those three Rapier. And what it is i guess that is allready explained by others just fine, so i wont do that again. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I tried adding the Track Drops script, and while that at least shows up as working on the Tampermonkey button, it doesn't actually seem to be doing anything. Do I need to do anything to start/stop using a script, or should I expect it to automatically run?

Is this a good weapon for one-handed fighting style?

I would say no. Why? Easy, personally i dont even thing a shotsword has enough damage to cover up the lack of penetrated armor debuff and a waki has even less damage. So why wouldnt i suggest an axe, those have high damage? Yes, they have, but they lack parry bonus, something that at your level is actually still important, because i doubt you have your equipment forged enough to cover such loses with Dex -to get still decent parry- or PM/MM -to just tank the attacks- up. So what about a club? Well, a club does stun the monster, but with your counter attacks you should allready stun enough monster to make it -imo mostly because stun does not stack- absolutly redundant, even when the damage range for a club is a bit higher as a shortsword, the shortsword has at least a somewhat usefull debuff with bleeding, even when i still would suggest to go for a rapier. Funfact: at your level i did still use a Exq demonic rapier of slaughter -that one i got from wolfgirl (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) - until i did replace it later one with a selfdrop Mag Tempestuous of Slaughter. That was around level 350 or so. So what’s the rush? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

By the way, I forgot to send you the other weapon, but I try to sleep as much as I can now that there are no heats where I live. And before you get confused, I have 2 legendary weapons, I'm already improving one, but I need to improve the other.

Actually I just complained about my poverty (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif). I do appreciate guys offering free IW services and those who offer discounts to players at low lvl.
My own issue is that I find out my IW10-club deals no enough damage as it is at lvl 100+. I got a L waki at 200+ lvl but I don't think it could deal more without IW10. I am trying to find out any solution to my damage shortage. I think that is the main factor stopping me from IWBTH.

If you want more damage, then you have got to sacrifice some defense in a way or another. You can't simply have the best defense and the best offense at once.
You can do that by switching to power/shade armor.

change to rapier. even exq rapier is fine, 2pab is fine, better if it's str-dex.
when PA stacks kicks in, it boost a lot of damage.

if you wants I could send you a rapier you could try, if you decide to use it just send it back when you're nearing lvl 300 or something.

Legendary wiakizashis aren't that good for damage output. For 1H rapiers or shortswords are the preferred method. Slaughter suffix is best but not absolutely necessary.

Two ways to boost damage are indeed Power Armor or Shade Armor. Shade is cheaper and easier to boost from upgrading, but Power Armor has much higher top-end attack damage.

At your level I think a combo of Shade & Reinforced Leather would work best for now until you have more funds for Power Armor.

Slaughter suffix is best but not absolutely necessary.

In the future you ideally want full savage(for damage)/agile(for defense) shade of the shadowdancer, or a mix of the two. Leather is really bad because it doesn't offer any offensive benefit, but until you get to the 300s or so I guess it's an okay stopgap.

It mostly depends on how well you can manage your mana. Leather offers more raw defense, shade is more about evade and offense, but suffers from high damage on your HP whenever you do get hit. Leather will benefit more from the usage of feathers, while shade will allow you to clear things faster, if you do can handle the healing.

Hey there. Considering returning after a while, running 1h heavy, but i have few questions regarding gears i have, which im unsure about.Probably stuff i bought in action for some hefty sums(for me at least), about which im not quite sure if it was a good idea at all.

This shield currently in use. Now this i intended to replace it with, but i guess the secondaries should be dex instead of agi, right? Soon ill be in range for soulfuse, so should i go for it ?
And then here is my rapier in use, compared to this one. Again i see the parry is far from perfect, so my question is, do i soulfuse this stuff and be happy with what i got, or sell it and save up for some better rolled items? Also have shards for only one fuse atm, so in case of keeping the stuff, i would need to decide what to fuse first. Any input would be appreciated, im really washed up with the game after the pause. And while i am aware the gears are nowhere near highend, im able to amass few millions at best, so idk if i can aim for better stuff. Also hope what i wrote makes sense, since eng is not primary language. cheers.
