for mage armor which is a better prefix, Radiant or Charged?
Complementing what others said, the difference between a full non-charged set to a full-charged
ε===(っ≧ω≦)っ set in Imperil style is, like, a lot. You will have to start a round using 2 or 3 imperils depending on the monster number. More damage gives you advantage when you start hitting them, but these 2-3 uses of imperil, even if imperil is faster than the damaging spell itself, with more cast speed would mean way less time spent healing.
Maybe, I didn't reach this level yet, with A LOT
(◕‿◕) of forging you can survive nicely enough even without charged, but in the first millions worth of phazon and HGC the charged makes a NICE difference.
But I can tell you that, right now, I am trying to go from full charged to at least 1 radiant piece, to bully
( •̀ ω •́ ) faster, specially school girls. If you plan to mainly do SG arenas (like I was), put a radiant piece at least in your future planning. If I could go back in time I would have done that. Maybe 2 as others said, but I didn't reach this level yet to talk. I can tell you that the 5th charged piece made the smallest
ヽ( `д´*)ノ difference from them all and the 3th to 4th is not that massive as putting the first one. Diminishing returns. Sadly I lost my turns/time annotations though, but I guarantee that the 5th piece in SG arenas was the smallest % benefit from them all.
