Long answer would be that it depends on the number of soul fragments you've farmed (or you plan to, iirc, the limit was 60 per day from RE's barring Soul Catcher Hath Perk).

You can also buy soul fragments in bazaar, at 1,000 credits a piece (900 with the proper Perk), so soulfusing a peerless weapon can get you 1,000 soul fragments, +20 per level difference up to 2,000 (100 levels). So if you had to buy them without perks, you'd be putting 3M on the table just to soulfuse.

When do you soulfuse? When you want to.

When I would recommend (not an expert, so feel free to ignore me) to soulfuse? When you find a piece of gear good enough that you know:

- That is your final piece of gear. Barely applies unless you get a Peerless grade with proper prefix/suffix, or Legendary levels that have good stats (up to the player to define what's "good").
- It's a piece of gear that while you know it isn't going to last forever, it's very useful and you're going to keep it for a long time, because better stuff is hardly available or very expensive to get.


My criteria is:

- For weapons: if it's good enough and I don't have to spend more than the minimum Soul Fragments, go for it. If I have to spend SFs, it'd better be some good toy.
- For armours: less prone to spend fragments unless it's peerless grade or a proper legendary with adequate stats. As proper I mean with suffixes and prefixes I want.

So I read the wiki that the base weapon damage doesn't directly affected by daemon duality but spell damage multiplied directly from it, so is that hath perk work better for mage or am I missing something mmm...~?

It means that for Daemon Duality I, it multiplies by 1,10.

I accidentally salvaged an item when I meant to reforge. Is there a way to get it back? Fuck me it was a Peerless too. Why in the hell do we have to unlock to reforge. Such a stupid feature. Well time to quit again

Bless you. I thought of that and checked but didn't find it. Saw your post and checked again. There it was. Well only lost my catalysts and 10% of my mats but I rather lose that than a Peerless.

I suggest to put it in an unused equipment slot, that way it is impossible to salvage it. Oh, and how good do i now the pain of an accidental salvage. The lost materials and bindings hurt, the catalyst too, but the most what hurts, is the price you have to pay to get it back. And it happend all together tree times with two different peerl to me. More than 1M just gone, for absolutly nothing. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

That's not a problem, is it? Sounds like you play effectively. You could switch to mage and you would be using all sorts of stuff.

By the way, pro tip for all: if you use hv utils script, it is virtually impossible to salvage a peerless or good legendary by accident. It is the ultimate IW script: safe and easy.

It costs more than 500 soul fragments to soulfuse legendary equipment with a higher level than your own. If it's 100 levels more than you, it would cost 1500 soul fragments.

higher difficulty (x10,x15,x20)give you more exp,
and the level up speed would much faster than saving soul fragments.....

monsterbation script do that for you plus attacking the monsters with just hovering over a monsters.
moreover it could automaticaly choose spell rotation depending on availability (i.e T3-T2-T1 spell)
