Hello all,

I have a question about what I should do with my main weapon. I play 1H and I'm finally starting to outgrow my [172848917] Legendary Hallowed Rapier of Slaughter (Level 310, IW 10, forged 5, ADB 57%, Parry 56%).

What's my best option?

1. Soulfuse it, because it can probably carry me all the way to level 500 if I do so.
2. Sell it, and buy another one at a higher level. I'm currently level 385, so I could buy anything up to level 485 if I were willing to soulfuse the new one.

If I sold it, how much is it worth?

If I bought a similar one at my level, how much should I expect to pay? (I can do the do IW myself, so I would only need a base model).

I am a novice but I think this is a fairly good weapon for 1H and DW player. I think it may deserve soulfusing. (maybe not, let's see how experts say)

The main reason I ask is because lower level weapons are generally more expensive than higher level ones.

I have no idea what it's worth, so I'm just making up these numbers for the sake of illustration, but lets say it's worth 3 million credits because it's level 310. If I could buy one with the same stats at level 485 for only 2 million, it would make more sense to sell it and then buy+soulfuse another one since I'd stand to make a profit.

On the other hand, if it's not worth much more than a higher level one, it'd make more sense to soulfuse it instead.

No, a low level can make certain equipment be worth something at all. But more expensive just in general? Since when are low level player richer as high level player to justify higher prices? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Well, you can ask in the price check, but i highly doubt that this rapier is worth more as a similiar one with a higher level.

I want more valuable drops. I feel that all I get now is quite useless.

the easiest way to increase chance for better drop is increasing difficulty.
training only increase the amount (except lotd, but that didn't increase chance to obtain higher quality equip)

How about scavenger? Does it mean to have more drops including all types or just basic consumables? I am now wondering if I shall put some credits in training or save credits to buy OFC.

If what you wants profit, you could just open wtb shop and slap 10mil price on it and wait for buyer, sooner or later somebody will come, you just need to wait for rich desperate uninformed newbie.

These equipments seems completely useless and I don't know if there are anyone interested in them...

Average equipment should allways be salvages, the craps are worth more as you would get from the bazaar.

You should check out decondelite's shop. He buys low-level exquisites/mags/legendaries, but only if they meet certain criteria.

For superiors, I highly doubt that anyone would ever buy them.

exquisite is absolutely useable for self use.
will it sell? most of them no, but if you could find low level "in meta" equipments (i.e exq prefixed rapier slaughter/nimble, shade shadowdancer, power slaughter/protection.), you could open WTB and try sell them dirt cheap for like 5~10k, it's not much but it's still higher than bazaar, you might have to wait weeks or months thought. is that worth it ¯\(ツ)/¯

No, just think about this, I Have a similar piece of equipament but in magnificent degree and even that thing is no worth selling, and his price in the baazar is 4436 credits.

lets say I have a 99% ADB Legendary Rapier at level 476, and my level is 376. Soulfused, would this weapon becoming my end game weapon?

OR it is just better to wait till lvl 500 to equip it

The percentage are the base stats, they never change.

If you dont plan shortly after that for a peerl it most likely will be.

When you soulfuse an item, it just does what all equipment did before the implementation of soulfusing, it is your level and gets stronger together with you.
