What is you guys playing routine? I'm just doing the arena missions whenever I feel like it. I noticed the higher level ones have like 100+ rounds, doesn't that take ages to complete? I'm only 78 now but doing bunch of the arena does take a while.
Right now I jut use the health and mana draughts and defend+protection skills and cure when I'm really low, then just click down the enemies. Is that the "correct" way to play or is there something else I should do?

It mostly depends on how well you're equipped, both script wise and equipment wise.
Fastest players can clear the two pages of arenas within less than 1 hour.

Light/shade is the way to go.

(IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I am sure as sure with a light/shade set you could play at least one difficulty higher as you do right now. Because, you have low parry, no block and no evade. So your chance to avoid an attack completly is near zero. And that is not really a good thing. So get a light/shade set will increase your evade by quite a bit, get an of nimble weapon as off hand weapon which will increase your parry and using light/shade will also give you higher resist chance.

I was looking to upgrade my gear and saw I had an unassigned level helm that was the same as I already had. When I put it on it assigns my level yeh, but does it not change the stats? How come the stats on it are nearly equal to my lvl 37 one I had from when I was at that level, maybe even worse. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to look at exactly.
Do the stats not change from the moment when you get an unassigned item as drop?

Each item has their own stats. It can be that the low level item has far better stats than the high level item.

What most of us do is, we compare the stats of an item to the minimum and maximum values that are possible. Those ranges can be found in the wiki. But we use a script for that: Live Percental Ranges.

Well graz if this is a big thing for you, but you know that starting a GF allready does cost your alllready one stamina, right? So i would really not recommend to do a GF with such low rounds. You will just waste your stamina that way. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Works like intended. Nothing wrong here. Unassigned level = your current level.

Fyi it is not possible to drop an unassigned equipment. All unassigned that still exist are just leftover from the update that integrated the equipment level system.

You've been playing at PFUDOR for too long. Average and below equipment still drop as unassigned.

depends on play style

as mage: enchant with the infusion of your own element.
as melee: for SG arena's (last 3), holy infusion or dark infusion, or both if you don't have IW10 extra strike. You can have a maximum of 3 strikes iirc. So if you have a demonic rapier, IW to 10, you have void strike (hollow forged), you already have 2nd stike dark damage, and you can add only a 3rd strike, holy infusion. For all other arena's it does not matter, just use whatever you have lots of.

Featherweight Shards are cheap (around 90-100 each) and they reduce burden and interference, allowing you to reduce SP consumption and if over 70 burden, they reduce the penalties to critical hits.

Problem is that you also get evasion, and that doesn't go well with countering.

But the SP consumption reduction really helps if you have to spam Weaken and Imperil before getting on the round.

If you're slow, slap 2 on each equipment just in case.

The above goes for 1H Heavy. If you're 2H, then featherweights really make sense even if you're wearing Light Armor (2H builds use Evasion too, iirc).

Anyway, I use 2 featherweights per item when dealing PFUDOR DwD and IW and it really helps.

Yeah, i still remember those times when i actually had to use spirit draughts during arena, but SP consumption is nothing i would actually see as a problem. Draught dont cost that much and if you have a problem to keep your SP running even with them, i would say you dont play the difficulty you are actually looking for or you actually do something suboptimal for your playstyle. Really? I just checked it, at your level, your spirit shield ability should be fully leveled, so that wouldnt be an issue. Hm, are we talking about arena or something different?
