Well, you wont need DMM, so that will reduce the cost by quite a bit. Yeah, i guess, but are you absolute sure you wont find a better shield? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

In fact, yes, I don't have decent equipment yet with regard to the Light Armor, with the exception of some magnificent arcanist Leggins, it was logical that it depended heavily on the shield, which unfortunately I didn't have at the time.

If you have the budget for it, I'd recommend a legendary kite (super cheap) or force shield (or buckler of barrier, though that's a bit expensive). Mag kite really is a bit meh, though upgrading the first few levels are cheap enough that it's not an issue either way.

when i finish daily farming i inadvertently shrined 24 Noodly Appendage with small boss trophies then i got 3 mag class staff with 3 different elemental (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)
i don't know which one is good and which elemental i should go，at first i wanted to be a cold mage seems good for a beginner but there was 3 different staff and pathway here kinda mess me up i don't know which way i should go (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

Shocking and Tempestuous are better matching staff type and suffix, and shocking has better stat, so I'd go with that. However, bear in mind that elec mage is quite expensive (though plain phases aren't too pricey nowadays).

Personally I'd treat it as a collectible rather than a weapon to use - illithid is kinda underwhelming unfortunately.

Yeah, magiclamp is right. Illithid is the blank of equipment suffixes.

But yeah, selling it to a collector might get you the most use so you can buy a weapon that is much more functional.

So I don't think it's a viable option, or at least that the buying market has already changed these days.

there are different type of collector, just because the swordnut won't buy your sword doesn't meant there are no other whatevernut wants it.

Price for collection are "anything goes" as you're not selling it's practical functionality here, so it's depends on how much you could taunt it's value as collectible, find the right collector with the right fetish, and exploit him/her.
If you ask the non-collector me to price that, that's bazaar stuff, it's just a shiny trash.

It's borderline 'conning' the rich guy, be creative.
