Pfest is pretty hard for middle level player like me，to clear it you need build a onehand set with defensive purpose，my forged set gives me 22~23k turns to end it and its stable，easily handle with 700 rounds but after 800 its need be use scrolls to cover the damage

I would say yes.

I don't know if this is the place to ask this question, but I would like to know, if someone could sell me an exquisite grade Katana that goes between level 281 to 291.

I need it more than anything to continue testing the Niten Ichiryuu fighting style, because the katana I have now is already too many levels below mine.

Well, that is a very specific piece of equipment you want there and i would guess chances would be higher if you make a WTB for this.

My perception is that Balance and Nimble might have value with DW and similar builds, and Battlecaster I guess it's good for 1H spell casters, but what about Vampire/Illithid/Banshee and Swiftness?

It's getting a weapon of those characteristics a perfect candidate for Bazaar/Salvage?


As for staves, which ones are most desirable? Hallowed Oak of Heimdall seems to be quite desirable and from the looks of it, everyone and their mother wants an <Element> Red Wood of Destruction; while Ethereals don't seem to be so desirable, as they don't give EDB from prefix.


Also, what builds are viable, more or less, depending on weapon/style? Apart from what Wiki says, obviously. Or rather, if possible with more specifics or variants.

Bazaar. I would only salvage such weapons, if average or below for the scraps, or if you did spend any materials in such a weapon.

Vampire might be a good idea for 2H IMHO, even though it will sacrifice a large part of the ADB.
Swiftness can be considered for a wakizashi to reach ultimate speed as Niten/DW.

Quick additions to Uncle's post above: for DW balance rapiers & nimble wakis can be useful (for club/rapier pure offense build, and for rapier/waki defensive build). Swiftness waki is useful for niten but I'm not sure if it's better than nimble - probably not, even without the offhand parry boost. As decondelite says swiftness could be used for DW too. A mainhand weapon is basically always going to be slaughter, though.

For staffs: besides the ones you mentioned, specifically Shocking / Tempestuous / Demonic Willow of Destruction (it has counter-resist unlike redwood, but it only has elec/wind/dark native to the type without a prefix, so fire/cold are almost always going to prefer redwood for raw damage). Hallowed/Demonic Katalox of Destruction is also viable, it just doesn't have counter-resist. If you're wondering, about HOH - oak rolls counter-resist and good holy damage natively, and it can't roll destruction suffix.

All fighting styles are viable to some extent, but all non-mage builds suffer heavily in clear speed, 1H at least gets significant survivability to compensate for this (and DW can also do so with the right weapons & heavy forging). 2H and Niten are playing this game on hardmode, but there do exist ways to compensate for this (high attack speed & playing Fus-Ro-Dah, or mace 2H). Mages can also use a nimble wakizashi of their corresponding element & a buckler of the barrier instead of a staff, for a survivability boost at the cost of a significant amount of proficiency and damage.

Because seeing the sale and purchase prices, the truth is that I prefer to keep the ones I have now and use them in the future, now it is a little more productive to sell percusor artifacts, since their price seems to increase.

Well yeah, you can get a Peerl from Noodlies, just like from any other equipment drop too. But there is no higher chance for that from a Noodly as from any other possibility for them to drop. And when you look at how low the chance for an equipment is to be a peerl, you can imagen how many noodlies you have to shrine before that happens.

Btw iirc there are a few statistics from blackjac's shrining somewhere around. But please dont ask me where.
