Do RoB bosses scale with my level?
The Unicorn crit me 8k HP, but I have only 7k HP (Full HP, normal difficulty).

Looks normal due to fluctuation. Even if the number on hell is lower, that still doesn't show that hell give lower credit reward than nightmare.
Clearly wasn't that 7k credits @ nightmare and 2k @ hell you mentioned before.

... it is possible that because of the usual fluctuation of credits drops and only one difficulty difference it did look like that...

Another example, these record shows that hell lower credits could be less than nightmare highest credits.


each run = 50 round IW.
Upper row are nightmare, lower row are hell.
but in the end, in average, higher difficulty will yield higher credits.

if you think such wide fluctuation is impossible.
Here's a 16k credits revenue on EoD @ PFUDOR

converting the credits (assuming PF = 3x credits multiplier)
the 11k one should become ~6.5k if played @ hell. (~11.2k * (1.75/3))
while the 16k one should become ~8k @ nightmare. (~16k * (1.5/3))

all monsters scale with your level.
use spirit shield and spark of life to mitigate those one shot skill.
normal monsters would have those too later.

You mean that regular monsters ultimately are the most dangerous ones. Being critted at more than 20k is very common at PFUDOR difficulty. That is, I'm not talking about the batshit insane damage we got to deal with during PFFEST.

How much the stats on the items changed during the years? The current staff that I use was approx. 10m when I was playing, and now the stats looks like Mag. tier or even less.

Four years? Enough for your whole equipment to be pre 0.82 aka completly outdated. You need a whole new set no matter what.

If you have really old gear, those can have some value. there are collectors of early obsoletes. You could actually try to sell the staff, the forge materials have some value of course, and for a starting mage it could be worth 50k or so. Not 10m anymore though...

I don't think your old equip are instant useless, they could work for a temporary equip before switching.
But new equip generated are generally better, they are generally cheap too except select few.
If you just wants to make some working mage gears, low stats or non-radiant/charged phase are pretty cheap, but I think you'll need to do some light forging before it's comfortably playable on high difficulty, also I doubt you'll be able to use it for anything except arena and RE without more investment..
All that aside, I guess the biggest hurdle is the cost to soulfusing a full set equip (assuming you need to). It would cost so much that it'll take some weeks of dedicated RE to complete.

Also, I'm seeing you bid 2 lvl 500 equips on super's auction.
you need to reach at least lvl 400 and soulfuse them before able to use them, it'll cost like 1500(?) soul fragments each to soulfuse a Legendary with 100 lvl above your level.

With that edb and counter-resist it's not great even as Magnificent, but it's ok to start with so it might even sell since low level and matching stuff is scarce.

Mage is difficult. Mage does not have good defense. Much more 'incredible hard' to get there than one-hand rapier.

- You need credits. Millions. 5-10 million minimum.
- Choose 1 element. My advice is Cold, Wind or Electric.
- Get a staff: Legendary. If you must, you can try magnificent. But that will not be good.
- Get a matching staff: Legendary Arctic Redwood staff of Destruction/Niflheim, Shocking Willow staff of destruction, Tempestuous Willow staff of destruction.
- Then get matching gear. 1 cotton of the elementalist, 4 phase of matching element.

to make it clear "Protection, Warding, Earth-walker, and Curse-weaver" are instant salvage/bazaar.

prefix doesn't matter if the suffix is crap.
you could also safely throw away anything below magnificent, playing mage with low quality tier gears is a symptom of masochism. mid 300-ish non charged/radiant magnificient would also lose it's demand so those could also salvaged. near 400 I highly doubt any magnificent cloth/phase will sell.

I will, because it's good enough for low budget low lvl mage who needs to fill the slot before buying a decent one for N millions after N months. Playing mage under lvl 400 is not optimal, but not a bad idea because you'll start to build up potencies earlier, and since you have limited access to best stuff you'll most likely have to use mag range equips anyway (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Well, you could use monsterbation, normaly it uses data from the database to show you what kind of monster they are, the owner, the PL and so on.

In monsterbation settings, at "Monster keywords", put in:

/(Celestial)/


And set Monsterinfo to: false

That last one lets you enjoy the monster highlight function without all the details in the monster info boxes.
