Draughts? Maybe 1k each. If you play regularly you'll almost always gain back the draughts you use from monster drops.
Potions a little less, few hundred at most if your budget allows it.
Then again I hesitate to use items unless I need them to survive...

QUOTE(Voxels @ Jul 8 2019, 07:29) Now, quick question about draughts.... How many should I buy?
As many as you actually need. QUOTE(Voxels @ Jul 8 2019, 07:29) Someone said I should get 20k mana/health pots.
20k? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) It was not by chance a shopowner who sells mana and health pots in his shop? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) QUOTE(Voxels @ Jul 8 2019, 07:29) Should I do that?
Well no, 20k is even above what i would call excessive. Buy what you need and not more.

depends on consumption. at some point in specific playstyle you won't even need to buy any. but having a few hundreds or even a few thousands is a good start. just for a safety that you won't ended up entering a battle without any (or run out in the middle of it). just buy some but don't burn a lot of your credits on it. With the correct usage of focus, you can easy do all non SG arenas without a single mana draught used. And with a bit of work and of course the help of the ability spirit theft, you can even do DwD without using a single draught at all. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Maging with that many draughts? You're more like a Wizard of Orz at that time. Do new players end up losing on credits because of paying the cod fees since they don't likely have postage paid perk yet? I hardly used free services (only freeshop equips mainly). Just curious how it seems to work out.

PP is a perk someone should get asap, it is cheap and pays of very quick, i cant see a reason why someone should have it. And i got it back in times when hath did still cost +10k credits each. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

QUOTE(mangafans1 @ Jul 8 2019, 04:50) -snip- PFFEST is still too hard for a player of your level, simple. This is not the difficulty you're looking for, not yet. I've attempted several times back then, and I have been able to clear it for the first time once I reached Lvl360-370 or so. With several peerless power armor, albeit not forged to the brim, same goes for the shield. And with heavy usage of depr spells and a few spirit potions. So let's say you forged your equipment quite heavily, you still won't be able to clear it (half-decently) at Lvl350. Keep in mind aswell that forging the shield and the parry certaily does make things less hard, but they're only ever RNG, so in all cases you need other defense mechanics like PMit, MMit, attack speed and evade. That is, you do can afford having some evade if your block+parry is high enough, so that your counterattacks still cap out anyway. Oh, and regarding void damage: the only way to mitigate void attacks is more PMit/MMit. One little advice: don't try to push as far as you can with all your might, if in the end it takes you minutes per round. You should stop before it becomes that hard. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Yeah, I literally once threw the hath for Postage Paid to someone who wanted some stuff I was trying to get rid of but didn't realize the fee the user would have to pay surpassed the value of the items QQ This post has been edited by Kpop of Orz: Jul 8 2019, 08:00

That's right, it was dedicated to me, when I started playing in higher difficulties with a two-handed weapon, and in the end I came to stay with the Dual welding style of fighting.
You know, I've realized now that one of the reasons why I survived and flew past the first 200 levels with two-handed weapons was due to two reasons:
The first was that I began to play just when the Easter feast was and how I did not know what value the trophies of that event had, and I wasted them in the shiren, however; It turns out that the pieces of equipment that they gave me were good and I was able to advance pretty fast thanks to that.
The second is that ... As I had not played the game for 11 years, my credits accumulated, and since I was continuously going to certain galleries, every time I was the start of a new day, I was given some credits, due to that I did not start with zero credits; I currently started with something like 1, 534 credits or I think less.
Now my goal in my life is to reach level 300 before Friday of the following week

it was early on the change sometimes around .82 or .83, and seeing that people sell draught dirt cheap I bought a lot when I notice the number on my inventory are decreasing. but clearly I don't know better and bought way too much lol. I suspect that at that time what I actually see was decrease in potion, but stocked up draught w This post has been edited by Fudo Masamune: Jul 8 2019, 08:44

at your level, just buy what you need. No way you need to have 20k mana / health pots. That's for lv500 heavy grinders and even then it's too much to buy at once. Just get your free draughts at the free shops (mine included).

What do my fellow Melee players have their Int at when they're level 500? Not counting the Artifact PAB bonuses.

I have an exact 0 INT for my part. It's absolutely useless as melee. The day I'll have some INT will be only because I equipped an Arcanist shade.

It does increase SP though, that's the main reason I was asking.

Because you can't live with all brawn and no brain in this current era. also, it's not like that the extra 1 STR from dismissing all 500 INT would even matter. so whether it's 0 int or 500 int for lvl 500, unless you're so picky of that 1 extra STR (or DEX, or END) or whatever, that's nothing to make a fuss about. actually, I almost never bother with distributing stats past lvl 450-ish. don't know about other people though. SP consumption by Spirit Shield and SoL gets increased aswell, so it really is absolutely useless. That's why I asked to have these SP consumptions proportional to the player's level only, instead of how it works right now. That'd make Arcanist a tad bit more useful at the same time.
