So ... I open a new topic to sell it, or I go where the equipment is auctioned to put it for auction?

best way to sell in auction is to send it to one of the existing auctions. Just send the equip in MM to:

Superlatanium (he charges 10% commission but gets a lot of traffic)
SakiRaFubuKi (he charges 10% commission but gets a lot of traffic)
Decondelite (he charges 5% commission, focus on low to mid level equipment)

Just put "auction item" as subject when you send a MM.

You can also start your own auction, but recent experiences have shown that these get less attention (especially with high starting bid).

1. Make a new post in WTS section
2. Name it [Auction] ...
3. Put an auction timer in the post (instructions in the pinned thread)
4. Add rules (or borrow them from a previous auction)
5. Wait for your favorite Forum Mod to pin it for you. No PM needed, he will notice the thread.

round per IW run : Number of Item World Rounds = 75 * ((PXP0 - 100) / 250)^3

Total_runs = RoundUp[ 1000 * ((1 + PXP_for_level_1 / 1000)^10 - 1) / (Rounds_in_IW * 20) ]

or just use ssss2's HW utils to check the round per run and super's IW calculator [reasoningtheory.net] https://reasoningtheory.net/itemworld to calculate total run
then just multiply them

And when you know after Fudo's post know how many rounds you have to do, you just divide them by 25 or 50 to know how many stamina you will use. 25 when you are still at or above 80 and 50 when you are below 80 and you should easy calculate how many ED you need to spend. How many monsters should I make before trying to seriously lvlup them past 25? And how many should I take to 100/past 100? Is there an ideal proportion?

Monster level is mostly arbitrary until about 500 (where they can now drop high-grade materials, albeit rarely). See the chart here for what they unlock at various levels.

At very low level they seem to get occasional wins, but once you level them up a bit it's mostly dry til over 1000.

The general recurring advice on monsters is simply: have as many as you can afford. When you have a significant amount, it becomes efficient to invest in the cheapest levels of gift factor (though the exact point, I do not know without doing the math myself).

In fact, I've already tried the style with a Niten Ichiryuu with an Exquisite Katana of Balance that I had stored, and the truth that I did not convince myself much, because at all times I had to be regenerating my points of vitality.

Besides that the special skill that this fighting style has seems to me a little less functional, than the ones you have available when you use the Dual-welding fighting style.

What I did better was to combine it with the mace that I showed them in the previous link, to be able to fight in the item world and improve the 2 weapons that I have been using since I use the dual-welding fighting style, and really that they work very well both when you equip them.

Yeah, i remember that feeling still very goood. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) May i suggest that for your IW you do most of it below 80 stamina to get more out of your ED? I mean with 50 rounds per stamina you double what you get out of your ED, the XP bonus of an IW is lower as that of higher XP bonus arenas anyway, so you wouldnt loose that much.

I have a question for the experts around here. I'm currently playing 1H Heavy (with a Club while I'm Item Worlding a rapier) and have Innate Arcana 4. I've been using my IA slots for Haste, Shadow Veil, Protection and Spark. I have access to Spirit Shield, but I don't tend to use it that often. Normally I just rely on Spark to save me in an emergency on PFUDOR.

Should I be using Spirit Shield with Innate Arcana instead of Spark or something else? Is there a real reason to use both SS and Spark?

Thanks for the help!

When you can survive without them, drop haste and shadow veil (both benefit survivability at the cost of damage, for 1H players).

I have not played 1H, so I can only speak for light armour users, but SS does a good amount to prevent the heaviest hits (think spirit attacks from high level celestials that might otherwise hit for your entire health pool). It is definitely still useful in conjunction with spark of life, and in the long run with good forging you may end up only popping spark on very rare occasions.

I am a 1H and have three IA slots that I use for Spark, Spirit Shield and Protection. I do cast Veil, but only for mobs of 8-10 when I need it and I dont bother with Haste at all ever.

I play on IWBTH and 95% of the time my 5 active spells are Spark of Life, Spirit Shield, Protection, Regen & Heartseeker.

I'll change either haste or shadow with spirit shield, and manual cast it.

spirit shield nullify incoming damage over specific threshold in exchange of SP, so you won't see one enemy spirit attack shaft all your HP in one go anymore.
spark activated when shit turned so wrong.

Does the Crystarium hath perk actually work? I obtained it hoping to be able to shift to a lower difficulty and still obtain the same number of crystals vs before (I'm lazy, try to delay leveling up for as long as I can, and dislike buying crystals on WTB even though it's more cost effective for irrational reason)... But it hasn't increased the number of crystals per drop yet...

Never mind. It's working now. Yeah! (I know that Crystarium is generally discouraged for my level, but I'm not actually interested in advancing/leveling up/etc. As far I am concerned, I can now downgrade to nightmare, put in far less effort grinding than on Nintendo, and still get 2x crystals per drop. I know. I'm weird.)

I would like to start a mage build so I can speed through the arena on lower difficulties.

But I'm not really sure where to start.

What should I look for when I IW a staff?

What do I use for armor? 1 proficiency piece and the rest EDB? Or does it matter?

Just curious but did you forge your 1H set even a bit to increase your clear time? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I did a little bit. The difference is noticeable since the last time I posted here. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

DwD clear time has gone down from 45mins to 30mins or so.

15 minutes down to 30 Minutes at DWD with just a bit of forging? Well, now i really dont understand what you are actually complaining about. Do you a lot of PFest that let you think you are too slow? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)
