QUOTE(Firew @ Jun 6 2019, 17:13) A couple of questions! 1. As a leather 2H melee, would it be worth it to cast deprecating spells every once in a while just for the purpose of raising proficiency? I don't usually use these spells and I'm not sure if I should be. 2. As a leather 2H melee, I don't ever use Defend (or Focus, but that seems obvious). Should I be using them? All my overcharge just goes into rending blow and the occasional spirit stance. 3. I heard there was an update to Live Percentile and I'm not sure if I'm seeing the updates. Is there an updated script or is the database updated? ps. I'm currently using version 1.1.0. 4. I don't understand the proc effect duration table on the wiki at all. https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Equipment_Procs . From what I understand, if I proc a 4-duration stun with my mace, it'll take the monster 4 of it's "turns" to get rid of it. If I'm faster than the monster, I'll get more attacks in. Conversely, if the monster is faster (PFUDOR's 25%, for example), the stun will wear off faster? Maybe the chart on the wiki saying the monster's speed doesn't matter? Thank you in advance 1. Yes! In time (once you get the level to slot the abilities for it) imperil will become very useful to your play, and some 2H players also use weaken or silence occasionally too. 2. Generally no - 2H players use their OC on rending blow (if non-estoc), great cleave, or fus-ro-dah. 3. Current version is 1.1.0, and it sources from an external database, so no need to change anything there. (As far as I understand, it is slightly out of date and hasn't been changed for some time). 4. I'm not 100% on this so don't take it as a definitive answer, but I think procs (and buffs) should be relative to game ticks (in other words, turns before action speed modifiers are taken into account). Source: https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Action_Speed ("Tick is a special time amount, designed for counting down this special time-based events: [...] -Weapon's proc duration." and "Tick is always equals to one time unit and cannot be modified in anyway.") Answering Firew's 1st, I usually cast one of each spell type on random encounters and final rounds in arenas because they usually have more exp.

Would it be allowed to make a script that prevents you from using a mana draught when you already have one active, and similar for health/spirit draughts? I sometimes drink mana/spirit draughts before the previous one has finished. They're not that expensive, but it's kinda wasteful. Since they take 0 time to drink, I don't think there's ever a reason you would need to drink one early.
In general, parsing the page to decide on actions isn't allowed. But I see that Monsterbation disables certain actions based on if Spark of Life is active or not, so maybe only disabling things is OK?

No. That's taking decisions in your stead, which is strictly forbidden. The hovering being interrupted in Monsterbation in certain cases is only something that is tolerated because hovering would otherwise be completely pointless. Have a bit of faith in sickentide who provides us with everything that is allowed, not more, not less. Try to optimize your Monsterbation setup / playstyle instead. It would need to be individually cleared with Tenboro specifically because that rule exists: in general, if Monsterbation does something that seems against the rules, an exception has made for it. Definitely don't try to interpret whether individual cases can be allowed past the rules without word from above on it

Hello, I would like to know how the item shop works, more than anything because when I returned 2 months ago to resume this game where I left it more than 10 years later, there were many materials that would now be useful, but now that I have the credits, there longer those materials for sale. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) How are the items rehabbed? It goes by time of sale, or someone refuses the item shop. You could also tell me how I can buy low grade metals here and what would be the price of 500 units? I need them to improve the weapons I get every time I win them, or I get them from the shrine.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) The item shop? You really should forget about buying materials or bindings from the item shop. It is too expensive and too unreliable, because you would only be able to buy such materials or bindings from there people do actually sell to it. And that is also not a good idea, because you can get much more credits from other people. So when you need something, you can make your own topic in WTB or you go to all those shops in WTS and buy from there. But dont waste your credits in the items shop. QUOTE(Arkoniusx @ Jun 9 2019, 05:13) You could also tell me how I can buy low grade metals here and what would be the price of 500 units? Buying? LGM? Really? Well, like i said, you could make your own WTB, or take a look in WTS. I am sure someone there will sell them. You should just not pay too much for them. Imo everyone who wants 100 credits ore even more each, does only rip you off. The last time i did actually sell any LG Materials i did only took 10c each. But it was allready rare to find someone who actually pay for them, i cant tell you if that is actually a fair price. So dont quote me on that. Here is sent you even some for free. May they help you. Even when i am not sure what you mean by weapons you get every time you win. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Thank you very much for the metals, I really needed them. I am going to take your suggestions and put on sale what little I have, although I do not know if the weapons I own are going to be sold, except maybe the exquesite and magnificent weapons that I now have. I think I have sold out certain things, for example, I got to have 2 complete sets of buttons for the Easter event, all of them I had, and I wasted them in the shrine. At that time I did not know that here in the forum we could buy and sell those things. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) *All the weapons I use or have come from the things that the monsters drop when you defeat them. And the others come from the trophies that I have offered in the shrine, in fact I have obtained very good weapons and armors that have no weight, and are weapons of 2 hands. You are welcome. When did i say you should sell your weapons? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I would never say something like that without at least take a single look at them. But now that i think about it. When you still have 10 years old equipment in your inventory, i am sure as sure some of that has to be obsolete stuff. And for some collectors that stuff is worth quite something. QUOTE(Arkoniusx @ Jun 9 2019, 06:53) *All the weapons I use or have come from the things that the monsters drop when you defeat them.

Ehm, okay, but you dont have to upgrade all of them.

- If you have any equipment from 10 yeas ago, any at all, they could be valuable. There are collectors for the old stuff! - 2 hands is not the easiest way to play. 1 hand rapier + force shield is much easier. 2 hand is fine, just harder.

Hi, noob here at level 16X using the 2h build. I have a soulbound superior ethereal mace of slaughter, but I am wondering if a magnificent ethereal estoc of balance would also be worth soulbinding.

Ehm, "also"? I somehow have my doubts any superior weapon would be worth the fragments at all, i mean you know that superior is two tiers below magnificent right? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) So i would say, if you allready have the fragments and dont need to buy them, if you plan to use the estoc and if you dont plan to replace the estoc anytime soon, i would say go for it. Soulfuse it.

I did that back in 2016, probably because I was tired of swapping out weapons every 20 levels and that was the best one I had. Thanks for the advice. I'll start saving up enough fragments to sf the estoc.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Change weapons every 20 levels? but if the one I'm using has something like 100 levels since I use it and I have not the need to change it at all and I have not soulbounding it. * I do not have any weapons a decade ago, I do not remember having the luck that when I defeated some monster it would drop some, and I did not see the need to buy one at that time, because you easily defeated the vast majority of enemies with Magic. * 2016 and are you still at level 168? My friend, I started playing again about 3 months ago and I was at level 32 and now I'm level 240. And I hope to reach level 250 by Wednesday. Maybe not every 20 levels, but people at low level change their whole equipment on a regular basis. That is nothing uncommon. QUOTE(Arkoniusx @ Jun 9 2019, 10:55) but if the one I'm using has something like 100 levels since I use it and I have not had to change it at all and I have not soulbounding it.
You mean you use the same weapon for more then 100 level and didnt soulfuse it? Well, that is what we call a heavenly outleveled weapon, because its stats are so much lower as they actually would be if the level would be at least equal, what would just make the whole weapon literally worthless to your whole set. QUOTE(Arkoniusx @ Jun 9 2019, 10:55) * 2016 and are you still at level 168? My friend, I started playing again about 3 months ago and I was at level 32 and now I'm level 240. Not everone plays with the same eagerness. Some are faster, some are slower, some play without using any script or getting any star or without the usage of SoL. And there is absolutly nothing wrong with that, no matter how they play. We dont condemn people for the way they play and have fun, especially not in this topic. Excuse me, do not try to offend anyone, it just seemed strange to me.
Well, what happens is that I play Zero style of the Megaman X4 saga. If you have seen how you can cancel your attack in the second combo and repeat it continuously until your enemy dies quickly? So exactly I play, my vampire style weapon, it weighs nothing, and knocks out the enemies, the only thing I have to do is put on top all the defense spells that there are plus the spells and items that regenerate your life, and simply map the mouse to a control and put turbo action to the button equivalent to the left click of the mouse, and READY; I am a continuous killing machine until I finish the effects of the spells.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) I have no idea how that would actually translate into this game. QUOTE(Arkoniusx @ Jun 9 2019, 11:37) So exactly I play, my vampire style weapon,
Vampire, are just like Illithid and Banshee actually just bazaar fooder. There are better methods out there to keep you alive that dont prevent you from using an of Slaughter weapon, you know? QUOTE(Arkoniusx @ Jun 9 2019, 11:37) it weighs nothing,
Aka Ethereal. QUOTE(Arkoniusx @ Jun 9 2019, 11:37) and knocks out the enemies,
So you are using a ethereal mace of the vampire? So until you have to recast them? So far i dont see anything special there. Except that i have spirit shield and protection sloted so all i have to cast once in a while is regen and heartseeker. And except when i do an SG arena and cast some imperil and use vital strike on them, i only cast the OFC everytime it is ready and i face at least five living monster. So nothing special there. But when you have fun with imagen to play as zero, i guess that is okay. But i still have to say, of vampire isnt the best suffix you could use. Far from it. Btw, do you use heavy or light armor?

Light armor, but before that I used only heavy armor for defense reasons, however; I was failing too much because of the weight and burden of this one, until these equipment appeared to me when I defeated some monsters:
Superior shade guantlets of the arcanist Magnificent shade leggins of the arcanist Superior shade helmet of negation
