Do you detect that by script too or it's just experience?

Attached Image Negative stats are usually a very good indication for that. Live Percentile Ranges is your friend. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) But yeah, after you did say "very long time" i did allready expect it.

And just my opinion to elemental strikes, elec and wind are okay, but yeah, fire

well, it's 68.000.000 or 86.000.000 or 80.000.000 or whatever, you know the idea. Most equips currently in circulation are having 9 digits ID instead of 8 anyway, so if you see any with 8 digits id and on any ID number below 65mil, you could be sure that those are obsoletes pre 0.82.

@All above

Wow, thanks for the infos, I'm still confused about how to use the script and can't get it to work.

Also, speaking of obsolete items, I have flower vase and bubble gum and can't remember what they're for, do they worth anything?

Yeah, they are. Do not sell them unless sure of the price.

Around 12-14k per bubble on WTB, iirc.

My question: when it's a good moment to get some HatH? Like, I want to get IA level 1 and have 470k on me . Is it a good investment or better if I wait?

Hmm, maybe I'll just keep them

Maybe one day it'll reach 1.2m per piece (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Would there be any use for a 1H weapon with the "Battlecaster" suffix? This is mainly out of curiosity

Which element is the least useful among them? Like a vast majority of the enemies fought have resistance towards it or has very little utility (if any).

Flower vase and bubble gum are rare but regular drops.

Sure, for a 1H mage build it can be quite usefull.

Huh, didn't think 1H mages were a valid build. Seem like you wouldn't be able to increase the damage of spell without a staff, but Imperil would solve the issue in a way.

TBH every-time I looked at that post I kept thinking about bratwurst and it made me hungry. Anyway Fire imbued weapon seem like a no-go then (unless using electric shield)

You still use cloth armor for 1H mage - so you can get increased spell damage from phase pieces, and magic damage from radiant pieces too. It's significantly less damage than staff mage, but you can get considerably higher defense from playing that way - nimble waki mainhand & either barrier or nimble buckler can get some very nice parry & block values.

Fiery weapons aren't the end of the world. They're just not quite as nice as arctic, hallowed or demonic.

fiery is the best to use; while arctic, hallowed or demonic are the worst of all since it shorten our time playing HV.

Depends on stats and level of the equipment can you post a link? Select item and press c

When they are equal, rapier is better. It gives you parry and penetrated armor.

By the way, you can't delete a thread, but I can. So don't worry about it.

Some arenas has EXP modifiers, do they also affect proficiency gain?

Also how much gap is preferred between Level and Proficiency? Currently, my weapon proficiency is currently 20 above my level and my armor is 40 above my level. Is it enough? Is it too much?

Sort of, indirectly - proficiency gain is (as I understand it) a percentage of regular experience gain, although you only gain it for all proficiencies from dawn exp (applied in the first battle after dawn). From battle exp gains, it only applies to relevant proficencies used during the round (ie, you must be hit to gain armor prof, you must use a spell from a specific school to gain proficency exp for that school).

There is no such thing as too much proficiency! It's nice to have as much as you can get.

A couple of questions!

1. As a leather 2H melee, would it be worth it to cast deprecating spells every once in a while just for the purpose of raising proficiency? I don't usually use these spells and I'm not sure if I should be.

2. As a leather 2H melee, I don't ever use Defend (or Focus, but that seems obvious). Should I be using them? All my overcharge just goes into rending blow and the occasional spirit stance.

3. I heard there was an update to Live Percentile and I'm not sure if I'm seeing the updates. Is there an updated script or is the database updated? ps. I'm currently using version 1.1.0.

4. I don't understand the proc effect duration table on the wiki at all. https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Equipment_Procs .

From what I understand, if I proc a 4-duration stun with my mace, it'll take the monster 4 of it's "turns" to get rid of it. If I'm faster than the monster, I'll get more attacks in. Conversely, if the monster is faster (PFUDOR's 25%, for example), the stun will wear off faster?

Maybe the chart on the wiki saying the monster's speed doesn't matter?

Thank you in advance

1. Yes! In time (once you get the level to slot the abilities for it) imperil will become very useful to your play, and some 2H players also use weaken or silence occasionally too.

2. Generally no - 2H players use their OC on rending blow (if non-estoc), great cleave, or fus-ro-dah.

3. Current version is 1.1.0, and it sources from an external database, so no need to change anything there. (As far as I understand, it is slightly out of date and hasn't been changed for some time).

4. I'm not 100% on this so don't take it as a definitive answer, but I think procs (and buffs) should be relative to game ticks (in other words, turns before action speed modifiers are taken into account). Source: https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Action_Speed ("Tick is a special time amount, designed for counting down this special time-based events: [...] -Weapon's proc duration." and "Tick is always equals to one time unit and cannot be modified in anyway.")

Answering Firew's 1st, I usually cast one of each spell type on random encounters and final rounds in arenas because they usually have more exp.
