Pretty much, yes. Other suffixes markedly add something to element you chose to play. Protection, Warding, Curse-Weaver, and Earth-Walker adds very little in comparison.

Also, Dæmon Duality perk is confusing. Do you get +15% extra damage for moving from I -> II or it changes +10% damage mod to +15% which is only 5% damage increase for 4k hath.

It's only a 5% increase per level, yes. It's a bonus for the super rich

The amount displayed for DD is the total bonus for all levels together.

5% for 4k hath, same for crys and token perks

is there some tricky ？

currently i force myself to clear Arena First Blood - End of Days with Nintendo to make Credits

do i need saving Artifacts for sell ？

@mangafans1 I'm not much further than you but I can recommend you leveling Quartermaster and Luck of the draw a little. Selling junk equipment is a good share of your daily income. Also adept learner will shorten your way towards lvl 300-310 where mages get naturally stronger.

Also if you are super low on credits selling artifact might be better than using by yourself. Keep in mind you can always buy it back in WTB forum. And a single gear upgrade will beat all those tiny stats you got from artifacts. It's something good for when you finished all general cheap gear upgrades.

Okay, did DwD again without SV and Haste, and the result is... Dramatically better.



Couldn't wait on my bounty, so I sunk the little credit I have left for some Hath and got Innate Arcana I. It sure is a lot easier not having to worry about recasting Spark all the time. I'll definitely get at least up to 3 (for Protection and Spirit Shield) as soon as I finally got my bounty.

Going to test using enchants for the next DwD to see if the improvement is worth spending the credit.

(IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Tbh when i use 10 during a full DwD, that is allready a lot for me, but of course monster are much weaker for your level, so it could be. So can you actually hurt the SG with it? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I use 20-30 OFCs on DwD, mainly at the start of every 2-3 rounds once I get to round 110 or so to speed up the slugfest it becomes, so he might be doing something similar but starting out a lot earlier. Although it'd probably be faster to save overcharge and use Vital Strike semi-often instead.

But i still wonder a bit, does the OFC for you actually do some damage to the SG or is it just got kill the rest of the round faster? Because i remember that it was allways a bad idea to kill them all and reduce my counter attacks by quite a bit. That is also the reason why i just use the OFC when i can be sure there will not much me left after i did used it, so of course i dont use it that often. But i guess i could use it more often against konata aka the weakest SG. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Well, i will see.

I did my 4th DwD, and here's the result:



I actually cleared faster, time wise, if I don't use OFC until after the 5+3 groups, though it did take more turns.

Not sure why there's that big drop in counter... I accidentally cast a few Shadow Veil, but shouldn't cause that big of a drop. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

As for damage to the SG... I used OFC for earlier rounds as well since it'd 1-shot the SG if it crits. For the later rounds, however, it's not much. Probably 1/3~1/4 of the SG's HP even if it crits.

So at your level you actually can one hit an SG with a crit of the OFC? Is this with imperil? And is this true for all of them? Also i would say, yes the lesser counter should actually be from casting SV. I mean you had actually even more turns, so the usual RNG is imo not big enough to explain a difference of nearly 600 less.

It's a good idea in my case. Imperil all SG, give one of them a level of penetrated armor and BAM. Overcharge will be depleted, but it can be built if you turned spirit stance off. Don't build it to full, but just enough for required Vital Strike to finish the rest off. It doesn't matter starting the next round without any charge, overcharge is easier to build up at the start of the round after all.

Only Konata can be one-shot-ed with OFC without any PA procs. On top of imperil of course. Other SG needs PA, imperil, and pony blessing to get that satisfying OFC kill.

At low level the different styles don't matter so much, and you can comfortably play two-handed with light armor up to about 200-300, where you might want to start thinking about switching to 1H for the most comfortable budget experience. Eventually, one day, you may switch to mage, but this can be expensive.
