Yes, you probably casted a spell yourself, or it's a fast monster that attacked twice in a row as soon as it went out of stun. That's why things like casting Heartseeker can be very dangerous. RIP to your spirit bar BTW.

I can understand if it was after a slow spell.. But if you look at the log, it's right after a normal attack (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) Curses, RNG!! I'm just glad I just filled up my spirit shortly before this with a spirit pot (you can see it's under cooldown), otherwise, it's not going to be pretty (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

QUOTE(rokyroky @ Apr 23 2019, 13:00) Thanks
Thanks
Prof is more important that EDB for wind/elec?, with 0.68 isn't enought?
for elemental edb is indeed less important and prof is more important compared to dark, but I'm also surprised to find out prof>edb for elemental. Also, I'd rank PABs (INT, WIS) higher than prof, but it's just a feeling so somebody might refute my opinion.

Good to know QUOTE but I'm also surprised to find out prof>edb for elemental.

Not surprising: the base EDB for Wind/Elec on a Willow is very little.

I mean, I guess it's a no-brainer for fire/cold, but a bit more subtle for wind/elec

QUOTE(Saioux @ Apr 23 2019, 10:31) 20k magic score, 0.7 prof factor, 55%+ evade chance. Assuming p5s4, full charged, and using imperil.
Whoa, tough number to reach. QUOTE(Gahasa @ Apr 23 2019, 14:09) Why are assorted coins and coin collector things fetching such high prices. As far as I know, they're just trophies that give the usual junk.
Because it won't drop anymore. But I, too, feel it's strange. That much credit offer should only happen after few months, when supply is low. Or will the credit offered rise after a while? QUOTE(Finestela @ Apr 23 2019, 19:25) So this happened (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) Why did the evaded attack still triggered my spirit shield and dealt damage to me? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) Or maybe the mob had two different actions in a row and I evaded the normal attack but not the spell? Edit: It's the other way around. The spirit shield show how much it absorbed first, then the actual attack got described. ============= Should I shrine trophies for Staves? <450 good staves are rare This post has been edited by feathered: Apr 24 2019, 02:14

Surprising this hasn't been answered yet. They aren't your everyday garbo trophies. They guarantee at least a magnificent from shrining, and that's the only reason why they are so expensive. I mean if they were bunch of noodles, why would anyone go through all the troubles and how could something so insignificant qualify as an event, especially its' literally one of the two events we have throughout the whole year? lol

There was an evade message first, and I waana to know if the spell still came through despite being evaded, or that it was 2 hits in a row, and I evaded the first one.

It was 2 hits, yeah. I would imagine that's because the monster has attack speed upgrades that exceed your own attack speed.

It's just the how game are. Indeed, what you've absorbed was attack from Liselotte Something Something. Yes, it's its 2nd attack. But even if other monster proc your spirit shield, their attack will be listed after your spirit shield absorb. This post has been edited by feathered: Apr 24 2019, 03:36

1. How should I go about starting to acquire a set of gear that will last me comfortably for a while. ATM I don't have an interest in building up "perfect" gear. I just want to gather gear that can last me a long time. What's a good way to get that kind of poor man's gear and what level should I start considering it?
2. This is a rather subjective question, but: With Niten Ichiryu, is it faster to use spirit stance and just plow through the enemies or should I prioritize my overcharge on casting skyward sword for an insta-kill on 5 enemies? What do the more experienced players do? For dual weilding, I found saving overcharge for frenzied blow was faster for me, but if I'm wrong here too, please correct me.
3. I read the do's and dont's, but I still have a question about leveling too fast. If I can easily handle nightmare at the same pace as the lower difficulties and I'm not worried about finding more equipment, can I power level? Or are there other downsides I'm not understanding?

Well for what you want i would suggest 1H and you can do that right away. QUOTE(Firew @ Apr 24 2019, 06:58) 2. Niten, well i never actually did play Niten, so i am not sure how good skyward sword actually is, i guess an OFC would better, depending on how many monster there are in a round, except at your level you mostly have such with only a few level. So when you actually feel good with using that skill, you should do that. QUOTE(Firew @ Apr 24 2019, 06:58) 3. I read the do's and dont's, but I still have a question about leveling too fast. Well, i would say Hell is the lowest difficulty you actually should play at and take as a measurement.

QUOTE(Noeleo @ Apr 24 2019, 06:55) It is. You might want to ask good people at price check to have some idea how much it worth. It might worth 300k-500k. But I'm shit at predicting price, especially when I already have my own boot. ========= QUOTE(Firew @ Apr 24 2019, 06:58) How should I go about starting to acquire a set of gear that will last me comfortably for a while. Under level 300, you won't get gear that last a long while. You'll level up and your equipment will soon be un-adequate. You might think if you soulfuse them, that gap won't be a problem anymore. But please don't. Soul fragment is limited until you reach, umm, level 400. So reserve it for more than decent gear. That's said, check freeshop to get some freebies every once in a while. Check equipment rental lainconnue (did I spell it correctly, dude?) and ST-Ru. Check shop cater to low level like decondelite's. This post has been edited by feathered: Apr 24 2019, 07:22

Thank you both, that helps clear up a few of my doubts. I'll check out the equipment rental/free shops

Are drop stats for Tier7 trophies "known"? I just shrined 1 Assorted Coin for fun, and got better results than I expected, Mag Power Slaughter. And then 1 more, and still got better than expected results, Legendary Power Warding.
I haven't found any drop stats for Tier7, only for Tier 6/Noodles...how much better is Tier7?

Lower Mag as minimum, I suppose. Check out this post and several post following it. Peeps are reporting their shrining results.

7 ex+ (I guess 6 is more ex, 7 is more mag), 8 mag+QUOTE(feathered @ Apr 25 2019, 00:00) Lower Mag as minimum, I suppose. Check out this post and several post following it.
