Well, forget my skepticism, I love 0.3.3. I just cleared a 3 mob hourly battle on Battletoads without items and with MP left, which wouldn't have even been thinkable before.

363 EXP with pretty much no EXP bonuses. That's 1/5 of what you need to level at 22. Yeesh.

Would you mind posting your stats/abilities/equipment?

We are about the same level but you are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay stronger then I am. By the looks of it you are a warrior type with points in spirit boost and maybe overcharge? No magic except for cure which everyone has to use?

That's pretty crazy for battletoad...conider mobs only hitting for 8.

Those hit me wayyy more than that ;_;

Because he's level 20. he'll be introduced to the real HV soon enough...

Is it so bad for my level, probably YES.

Note: For this no items required and my character is naked.

I think gear is still unbalanced at low levels, and it is generally easier down here. But other than that, I suppose it's due to awesome weapons and good armor. They move 2 times for every time I move once, but they can barely scratch me, and I hit hard and almost never miss.

I'll go with equipments being broken to low levels.

If I use what you have...I won't last longer than few rounds in grindfest.

- The Arena challenges now have a readout for the highest challenge level you have cleared it on.

Speaking of which... This isn't showing me the correct levels. It says my highest level for First Blood is Hell, but I've definitely done it on Battletoads. That was back before monsters started to regen their magic btw...

I can do First Blood on Battletoads as well, just not worth it so I tend to do it on Nintendo. I think Nintendo is the highest I could do Baby Steps on, but I usually just do it on Hell.

After looking every thing over I think it's definitely the equipment that's making the big difference. My best piece is "average" quality and that's the quality of your worst piece. I've just been wearing whatever I could get.

My proficiencies are interestingly higher then yours, I have a 12 in dual wield and a 9 in heavy armor. I haven't noticed much difference as they went up either.

Your stats are more focused on a warrior archetype (i'm balanced stats-wise), but I don't think a few points more in endurance or strength would make me that much stronger.

I need to redo my abilities, I was casting a lot before armor and now my interference is too high, that could actually be noticeable, but not win battletoads noticeable.

So I think the bottom line for me is that I should invest in the highest grades of equipment.

Well, you inspired me to see just how broken this setup at this level is.

The Tentacle Monster in the second round of Learning Curves handed me my ass before I could spirit nuke and chip it to death, but If I brought an Elixer or two it'd be possible.

Didn't even need to heal for First Blood. Got one Giant Panda, it barely scratched me.

No, but I have a few sitting here in a stockpile. I remember an old build where I got a couple great item drops.

If I feel the urge to show off my impenetrable low level wall again, maybe. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

So I just leveled to 54 and now I'm sitting on 3 AP that I have no idea what to do with. Losing those credit bonuses freed up several points and now I'm just sitting on them. Not sure of going for the SP-Overcharge line is gonna be worth it -- its a lot of AP for minor gains. Although hito, I think it was, said that the Overcharge bonus to attack would be the bread and butter for melee.

Let's say I also love 0.3.3 since I was got STR +21, END +12 from aura and equipment. Which made me near non-stop grindfest.
Now due to degrade equipment I got STR +10 , and END +7 I can barely survive in normal grindfest around 5-10 rounds depend on monster and my luck.
But cake is still easy for me. lol

Sweet Jesus! Out of the 7 arenas that were Endgame and higher, like 5 of them had an arena clear award of a health elixir, 1 had an infusion of gaia and 1 had equipment. They don't seem like they are worth the time and effort anymore aside of the exp.
